Mostly great except I was moving to San Francisco where there's a lot of stairs and they hadn't included stairs in the quote. The last minute add on was reasonable but the movers really belly ached about the stairs. I gather that they aren't used to stairs. read more

I used pack and move this past year for a move within Visalia. The employees worked hard and got the job done fast.

If I could give them no stars I would, was promised everything would be wrapped, nothing was, every item we owned was damaged. The movers were rude and wouldn't listen how to take the sofa apart so instead they scratched the entire back of the sofas getting them out the doors and including holes. We ended up moving in things in the new house because they didn't want to be careful and not damage our brand new remodeled home. I told them my grandmas antique table was my most precious item and it got the worst damage, they cracked the bottom and broke the leg, had to go pay to get it fixed. I would never recommend this company!! First off I do want to say the guys that moved us were amazing,, and extremely hardworking I even tipped all 3 of them $100 each, however my refrigerator was damaged in the move and some stuff was broke. I let them know about the damage and the company asked me to get an estimate. I've sent the estimate and was told it was sent to the owner and I followed up twice with no resolution. Not only did they damage my refrigerator but the owner over charged me which took me going back and forth to get resolved as well. It has been almost 2 months and still have not heard back from them. They should have insurance for these kind of issues. I would never recommend this company due to the owners negligence in not fixing my refrigerator. I didn't even ask for the other things that were broke to be fixed or replaced. I also waited to write a review to see if the owner was going to make this right. read more

This is a 2 part review. 1 star for the owner, 5 star for the crew. We were quoted $800-900, the final bill was over $1400. When I spoke with Jake, I said I understood estimates were an educated guess but a $600 discrepancy is ridiculous. I said he may want to be a bit more realistic with his estimates because this isn't acceptable. His response was, "ok". We used this company last year and they were amazing. No stars would be marked if possible. We were moved by Pack N move in November, 2020. The crew on the first truck was very friendly, assured me they would "take care of everything, don't worry about anything". There was a different crew responsible for second truck load. The next morning, after resting from the previous hectic day, we discovered there were deep scratches on the doors of our stainless steel refrigerator, a large chunk of veneer was gouged from the lid of the piano, and there were various scrapes on other pieces of furniture. But the ultimate shock was the crushed hood on our car which had to have been done by the second truck as it backed to leave. Jake Moore, Pack N Move owner, is very difficult to contact. Phone calls can't be put through directly to him. He told us to obtain an estimate for refrigerator doors (no longer available) and an estimate for piano repair. He refused to accept responsibility for the damage done by his truck. Reputable businesses carry insurance for accidents and take responsibility for damages done. read more

We had a really bad experience with this company. They were nice and worked quickly, but they were extremely careless in the handling of our boxes and furniture. When we moved into our new house, we were very disappointed to find nearly every piece of furniture with some kind of dent or scratch on it. The trailer was loosely packed and our things were completely disheveled - some boxes were badly crushed. The worst was that the movers threw all into one big box : a lamp (with the light bulb still in), a heavy banjo (which is now badly damaged), and several family portraits (which they apparently forgot to wrap and one now has a huge scratch across it). Definitely do NOT recommend! read more

I've had a hard time getting responses from this company regarding the storage that I have in their possession before I move out of state. I need to make payments and I need to go and see my possessions but I'm not getting any response. The moving part from Hanford to Visalia has been wonderful. But I've been in the middle of a divorce process which has recently come to a close. CoriRona virus has Contributed to part of it but there's no reason to ghost me when I send messages. We had another company scheduled for moving services and they cancelled 2hours before the scheduled time. This was very stressful and upsetting. I immediately called and spoke to Marco. He called me back in 10mins and stated that they would get me 3 men and a big truck- the same day! Amazing! The men were about an hour behind schedule time but were all professionally dressed and friendly. Our job was 5hours and they provided a terrific service. The only minor issue was the charge to use a debit/credit card. Otherwise great team! read more

The following day the truck arrived in So Cal on time and was quickly unloaded by two very polite and competent young men. Both packing and moving were done with care and efficiency. i never write bad reviews. i don't have the time and i usually don't care that much. but you have to read this. They take the deposit over the phone so they can quit on you in the first hour if they don't like the way things are going. They make fake calls to their boss. Saying things like i had no idea there was this much stuff. When i inventoried everything with Marcus on the before they came. Then the movers claim that boss(Marcus) diesnt tell them anything. like they purposefully use an electric lift instead of the ramp to try and double the time it takes to put things in the truck. And if you catch them taking taking too long. They'll just ask you if you want them to put your stuff back and forget it. because they already have the deposit and they know it. These guys tried to find any way possible to waste time. that way you owe more. I found out the hard way. Dont make the same mistake i did by hiring this company. The so-called boss's name is Marcus and the movers who showed up were named David and Jason.If you need a mover never use these people. They will lie to your face and rip you off and enjoy it. ive wasted at least a few days and the cost of the house im moving out of plus the 200 dollars they kept. We had a horrible experience with this company we moved in July and were so excited to get into our new home and hired this company because their website seemed like a good company. First off they were supposed to be at our house at 8 am in the morning at 8:30 I called the company the owner told me they had had truck trouble and would be at our home at 11:00 am they finally showed up at 11:45 and they were 3 young men totally unprofessional they moved out furniture to the new home and at 6:30 they quit and said they wanted to be paid from 11-6:30 I paid them and there were still 5 more loads of trucks my husband had to load himself also they dented my freezer so badly I called the owner back the next day this was July 3 we have called a total of 10 times and still have not gotten response the owner came out the next day refunded my 100 dollars that I was over charged and said he would replace the facing on my freezer we got a package with the facing on our front door last week still no calls back to have the part installed also our desk was broken by these careless movers. We were also promised wardrobe service on the website it says just leave your clothes in the closet we will move then that was also a lie we moved our own closet I wish I'd of had some type of response involved for these movers never again they are horrible read more
