All of them were very professional, knew how to load the truck, and one of them without even being asked, fixed a broken leg on our TV stand. It was so strong you would never have known that it had fallen off. When we had to move my elliptical machine into a narrow hallway, they all work together to figure out the best way to do it without damaging the walls or door frames. They took a couple of parts off and put them back quickly. Many other movers would've quit and just left it there. This review is a long time coming, but I am happy I waited till we were somewhat Settled into our new house. First of All Cal Moving did an amazing job. From the owner Robert to our two movers Izzy and Raymond I called movers on 10/3/21 and everyone was busy and we wanted to move 10/11/21, I thought I was calling early enough. Originally Robert scheduled us 10/14/21 and he called back and said he called more guys to work that Monday and we can do Monday with two movers. We were really excited and grateful so we took it! Robert scheduled us for 10/11/21 at 8:30 am CA The movers showed up around 8:50, a bit late, but not a big deal because we weren't quite ready either because we had to drop off the kids at my mother in law. When Izzy and Raymond got there, they went straight to work, and they worked swiftly and promptly. We opted to have Izzy and Raymond take our bed and the kids bunk beds apart even though Robert advised us that it would add about 45 minutes to our time since we pay by the hour. We said that we would rather have the movers do it and they did a great job taking it apart and putting it back together at the new house! It took both guys almost 4 hours to pack up the old house and a little over 3 hours to unpack and put our furnitures back at the new house ( new house two story, old house single story). What really stood out was how willing and helpful both Izzy and Raymond were, after an hour of being at the new house, our new neighbors pop up tent flew away because we were moving a on windy day and they stopped what they were doing and went to help catch the tent and bring it back to their drive way. Robert was very responsive and kind. Izzy was funny and hard working. Raymond was also great to work with. If we didn't say it enough we are really grateful for Robert who fit us into his busy schedule, and we are really grateful for Izzy and Raymond for helping us move and take care of important pieces of furnitures that has been in our family for year. I can't thank everyone at All Cal Movers enough for the BEST moving experience I have ever had. Robert, from the moment I spoke to you on the phone about the upcoming move for my mother and brother, you were kind, patient and knowledgeable. You went through every step with me of what to expect, how many people we needed for the move, how big of a truck we needed, etc. My mother and brother both moved out of their individual homes, into one house. So this move required multiple stops. On move day, you sent three of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to work with, Henry, Justin and Eric. These guys came into my mother and my brother's homes and treated them like it was their own families . They very carefully wrapped and packed things and moved everything and placed each item where I asked them to. Moving with multiple stops to pick up furniture and belongings from two different places, is no easy task and you guys made it look easy. I never felt rushed when you asked me where I wanted things placed in the new house. We chose to have a second day move, because we were combining two houses into one, so on the second day you sent out Eric again and a new gentleman, Cavin. Second day move was even smoother, we got everything picked up from both houses and everything moved to the new place with minimal stress on me. Your guys took care of us. I can't tell you how grateful we are to have such kind, honest and patient people helping us. My mom and brother both have major medical issues so they couldn't do much, so we really needed you. Each of the four gentlemen that you sent to our home showed enthusiasm for helping us. They were interested in our story and complemented all the cool stuff that we had done in our old home and all the nice stuff that we had to look forward to. You could tell that they were really excited for us. It is just so meaningful to have people being so kind and encouraging. Honestly, Henry just kept encouraging me to keep going, and I just appreciated his patience so much. He is a real sweetheart. You've got some great people working with you, Robert. These guys are the BEST of the BEST. I have moved more times than I'd like to remember with poor results every time. I found I was either charged too much for the move or my things were severely damaged. All Cal Moving management, which I found out was family owned, not only works to charge you a fair rate, but the guys that actually do the moving take great care in how they treat your furniture and your house.
