Thank you Jeremy, Zack, and Brad. Your professionalism and expertise was greatly appreciated in…read morethis most stressful time. We absolutely loved working with you guys. And a special shout out to Chelice. You are amazing. Always there to answer our questions and help us with scheduling. This was the second move you did for us and we would highly recommend anyone making a move, long or short, this is the company you want taking care of you and your most personal and valuable assets.

I'm not one to leave one-star reviews, because I believe feedback and concerns should be addressed…read moredirectly with the business first. But when you make the effort to address it directly and don't even receive a follow-up or apology, it feels like it warrants sharing the experience publicly. I hired Rapid Moving to move between two houses less than two blocks apart--a move I likely would have done myself if time allowed. I also hired them to pack two of the six rooms in my home: the kitchen and my child's room. Upon arrival, similar to what others have mentioned in reviews, the movers smelled strongly of weed. They were also dressed in what I would consider inappropriate attire for a moving job--oversized clothing and slides. One mover was actively playing a gambling game on his phone while speaking with me and while I was giving them a tour of the house. That same mover stayed on his phone for most of the day, only hanging up when they drove the truck to the new house. At one point he even asked to borrow a charger because his phone had died. Many of the conversations he was having were inappropriate, and I was honestly relieved that my kids were not home to hear them. The move itself wasn't particularly fast, though I wouldn't say they were dragging either. What was strange was that with the truck only about half full and still two rooms of furniture left, they decided to make a trip to the new house to unload and then return for the remaining items. They ultimately finished within the expected time, but the last portion of my belongings was simply left in the living room. They also left an entire box worth of toys behind in my child's room that never made it onto the truck. During the move, they put a large dent in the molding around the bathroom door in my old home and broke one of the steps leading to the upstairs bedroom in the new house. The packing portion was especially disappointing. The movers only brought standard large boxes, not heavy-duty ones. While some delicate items were wrapped, several cocktail glasses were not wrapped at all. Most of the boxes appeared to be packed by simply tossing items inside with no organization or protection. One box that contained all of my cocktail glassware had a cast iron skillet placed on top of it, which resulted in significant breakage. In total I lost about $200 worth of glassware along with two collector plates from Disneyland Paris. In another case, a bottle of olive oil was thrown into a box where the pour spout popped off, leaking oil over the entire contents. Cleanliness was also an issue. The movers left remnants of their lunch throughout several rooms in my old house, including salsa drips on the kitchen counters. We bought them water midway through the move, only to later find empty bottles scattered around the new house. They also left behind their packing supplies--wrapping paper, tape rolls, and leftover boxes. After the move, I made an effort to contact the business directly to discuss my concerns. My call was answered by the receptionist, who was polite and did her best to take notes. However, I was really hoping the owner would follow up with at least a phone call and an apology. Unfortunately, that never happened.

MILITARY SERVICEMEMBERS, MAKE SURE THIS COMPANY IS ON YOUR LIST OF TSPs TO AVOID!…read more I regret not looking at reviews for this company and letting the military choose my TSP for me. It looks like not much has changed in six years and "Bobby B's" review on 4/17/2014 is on point. My experience was similar. The movers arrived a day late (without notifying me), then did what was a planned two day pack and load job in one day. The driver was rude and tried to change the delivery date from the one I had agreed upon weeks before. Mia Garza is a real piece of work. When I called her about this she had every excuse under the sun for the late arrival and delivery date change. Apparently personal responsibility is not a value at Lemoore Van & Storage (You're e-mail signature literally says "Dispatcher/Move Coordinator" Mia. In what way is this NOT your responsibility?) In addition to being grossly incompetent packers (ex. on arrival I discovered a entire large frame with a painting that was packed with NO packing paper, broken of course), the movers were rushed and a number of items went on the truck without tags. Numerous items were damaged. Their claims adjuster, Patti, instead of making things right, low-balled almost every item they carelessly broke or misplaced. When I forwarded it to the military claims office she claimed I did not give her enough info to prove value (she had my contact info, all she had to do was ask). This is a disorganized, and extremely unprofessional moving company. It would not surprise me the only reason they survive here is because they have a government contract. Fellow service-members, lets fix this by A) avoiding this TSP and B) taking the time (as much as it is a pain) to write an honest review. Hopefully that will prevent more of our tax dollars being wasted on this sad excuse for a moving company.

I do not recommend using this company. Lemoore Van and Storage moved my household goods from…read moreNorthern California to San Diego, and they did a horrible job. The company was selected for us by the military, so if you're doing a military move, and this is the company chosen for you, ask for another one. The packers were very careless and obviously untrained. We had numerous items broken, scratched, or torn. Items were not wrapped properly, or not wrapped at all. Instead of emptying dressers to move them, they actually packed more items into the dressers and this cracked some of the drawers and broke the items inside the drawer. At one point, they dropped a tool box full of tools, nails, and other hardware, and just left it there. We had to clean it up. Additionally, one of the movers was a self-confessed felon, having just been released from prison. When I filed a claim with the company, Jeanette, the owner, refused to pay for the damages, saying we didn't file the claim in a timely manner, according to her 'policy. This is untrue as the policy says 'we should file', not you 'have to file' within 75 days. This caused me to have to refile the claim through the military, which is a longer process. When I tried to work with Jeanette, discussing the above problems and asking for my reimbursement, she was condescending and very unwilling to do the right thing. She is obviously just in it for the money and has no value on customer satisfaction.
