I am from out of town and I rented a car. They were super helpful, the car was clean, and good customer service.

I made reservation for about $100 for two days. When I arrived, they said they didn't have a car. The they "found" a car an up charged me. Bottom line, they ended up charging me $300 for a 2 day rental. read more

Enterprise Rental employees tried to give me a Dodge Challenger when I showed up last week - I had asked for a sedan, not a muscle car. Me: *walks in*, "Hi, I'm here to pick up a car." *Gives my name* Employees: "Oh yeah, we have a fun little sports car for you." Me: "What?" Him: "It's right out there, the Dodge Challenger." I don't know if it was some sick joke or what but I requested a regular full sized car. The website I used to request the car said I would receive a "Toyota Camry, Chevrolet Malibu, or something similar." It was such a surreal experience and I immensely got the feeling that they were deliberately fucking with me. They definitely seemed to not give a shit about my needs as a customer. There were two young guys who worked there - one with short brown hair and one with long (dirty) dark blonde hair and facial stubble. When I asked if they had an SUV, the blonder guy looked straight ahead instead of at me and said, "No, that's the only thing I've got." He and the other guy looked at each other with a knowing look. It's almost like they made a bet that they could convince an unsuspecting customer into a (dark purple) muscle car as a joke. It definitely wasn't funny to me. I'm hearing impaired, so a loud car would not be safe for me. On top of which, I wanted a regular car, not a large sports car. I would not have been comfortable driving it at all. Luckily I had the time and resources to get to another car rental place (more about that below.) Can you imagine them doing this to an elderly person or a person who desperately needed a car to take their sick kid to the hospital? What if I had an emergency? These two clearly are just fucking around and giving Enterprise a bad name. After reading all of the other bad reviews for this location, I can't understand how this location is still open and I am going to call and write Corporate to complain. Hopefully we can get this location Shut Down for Good - the franchise owner of this location must be terminated too for allowing all of this to go on. These men are messing around with serious times in peoples' lives. I said, "I'm going to pass" and walked out. They said nothing, and did not make any effort to help me find an appropriate car at a nearby Enterprise Rent A Car. There is an Enterprise Rent A Car a few blocks down on the SAME ROAD that had "normal" cars and SUV available. I was lucky, and had JUST BARELY enough time to get a ride there and pick up a regular SUV (grey, not purple!) with a quiet motor and a regular steering column etc. I feel very safe in the vehicle I'm driving. So if you need a vehicle, ask for JAKE at 1790 S Broadway. He was incredibly patient and kind, despite the minute that it was a last minute reservation, and nearly closing time. He apologized to me for "having to wait." He seemed exhausted. I told him please not to apologize and thanked him for helping me out at the last minute. He was able to get me a very clean (immaculate) vehicle within 10 minutes or so. The car has no damage, only 11k miles, and drives so well on the road. It's a Mazda Cx-5 for reference and the steering wheel is neither too loose nor too hard. It's been about 10 days since I got my rental and I've had to extend the rental period twice already- Jake made it easy for me to do that. I am definitely going to let Corporate know about Jake and hopefully he'll get a promotion and a big raise soon! Remember, DONT go to the ENTERPRISE RENT A CAR on 351 Broadway!!! read more

Moving to Denver and within 24 hrs my car was stolen. Immediately contacted insurance company and they assigned me to Enterprise to pick up a rental at 351 N. Broadway, Denver, CO 80203. Upon arriving the manager (Matt L.) showed an exceptional level of empathy and customer service which I have not seen at any other rental company. We explained what had happened and he was able to get us a decent size vehicle to use. He has also been in constant communication with us as to how the repairs are going. Peter B. read more

BEWARE I was charged $490 over my agreement amount for mistakenly returning my Dodge minivan to 351 Broadway instead of 2255 Broadway. Very easy mistake if you are not familair with downtown Denver. Neither customer service nor corporate office made any attempt to make an adjustment in this scenario. Absolute rip off. I will never use Enterprise car rentals again. WATCH OUT! UPDATE: The customer service agent posting below might make it appear as if they care, but my writing them again resulted in no change to the up charge. read more

We had a reservation at 12 o'clock on Saturday and we were running late so we pulled in and the guy who works there would not help us and sat in this car for 10 minutes and when I went to approach the car didn't even bother to open the window to talk to me so we were forced to go to another enterprise. Come to find out he could've easily helped us because he was still on the premise in the car we reserved was also there. Not just poor customer service but no empathy. read more

Reserved a car for 23 days through Hopper. When we arrived at Denver Airport, we received a text that they had "no cars" so our reservation could not be honored. (Reminded me of Seinfeld; "You know how to TAKE a reservation, but you don't know how to HOLD a reservation... and HOLDING a reservation is the most important part!") They had no options for us at all and suggested my family take a shuttle to their office and "wait to see if anyone returns a car." It was simply unbelievable. We had to contact other rental car companies while at the baggage carousel, and ended up paying twice the price that Enterprise quoted us. Suffice it to say I will never use Enterprise again. Be warned, especially if you use a third party like Hopper or Priceline - they don't know how to HOLD a reservation! read more

Had a great experience with this location following a not at fault accident/insurance claim. Every single person I interacted with was helpful and friendly, and even asked if I was okay after my accident. When the insurance coverage ended and I needed to keep the car for a bit longer while my new car came in, they worked with me to secure a fair and affordable rate. Would 100% recommend this location/use it in the future when friends are in town/want to rent a car (it's walking distance from our house). read more

I rent a car on Priceline and went to Enterprise to pick up the vehicle. When we arrived, two employees worked here. I did not take my credit card, so I prepared to use my debit card like before. I provided debit card, local id, local address information, paycheck, utility bill in name...she verified everything. However, a woman name is Rachel asked me provided an ''active insurance declaration page with my name" or prove that I am a staff. I have SSN but I am a student, and I do not have car insurance, so I want to purchase insurance from Enterprise because I remember there are lots of insurance options that I can choose to protect the equal security of both sides. I also had experiences that use the same method to purchase insurance in Enterprise (4300 E Evans Ave, Denver Co80222 ) and rent a car at the end of March 2020. Rachel refused me. SHE SAID ENTERPRISE HAS "NEW POLICY " DURING CORONAVIRUS time. I understood and I said, please show me the NEW POLICY. Then She gave me a document, and I saw the document before. The time on the paper was "effective "11/1/2019". I am very confused? I want to ask another employee, and she tried to interrupt us. The male employee goes out to help another customer, and she told SHE IS MANAGER! Fine, I do not care what position she is. I want to communicate with an honest person. However, She did not want me to chat with the male employee; she is so weird. I have to go out and ask the male employee, and she was following us and tried to interrupt us the SECOND time... I said, "I do not want to talk with you. " I explain what happens to the male employee and ask to purchase more insurances. The male employee said, "you should be able to rent the car; let me help you." When we return to the office, Rachel INTERRRUPED us again and EMPHASIZE again, "I am the manager!" She IS STILL emphasize she is a manager. Can I understand Rachel is the manager? She can "control everything for no reason, including the good male employee(Just because his position is lower). He has no RIGHTS to communicate with customers. When the male employee stood at the front of the computer and prepared to help me, she GRABBED A KEY AND ASKED the male employee to MOVE a car. (WHAT??) She is really weird! Does she know HOW to respect other people? If she gives me a reasonable reason with a healthy mood, I will understand her. However, she is a weird and rude person. I also think she did not respect HER COLLEAGUE. Rachel has been interrupted our conversation SEVERAL TIMES. She emphasized several times, "SHE IS MANAGER... HE IS NEW IN" Does Rachel know how to respect her colleague? DOES SHE THINK ONLY A MANAGER has the RIGHTS to speak or consult? The result does not influence me because there are legitimate ways that I can rent a car. However, this is my first time to see this kind of manager. Enterprise is a good company. I had lots of good experiences there. As a manager, if you are not happy, please adjust your mindset. If you are racist, please do not think you represent your company and emphasize your position because you only represent yourself at that time. read more

The employees are management here are amazing. The staff here goes above and beyond. I had an emergency 3-week rental due to an accident. Pick-up and drop-off were seamless. Perfect experience. This is why I choose Enterprise, always. Location is convenient too. Just south of downtown Denver, across from a Dunkin Donuts! read more

Stuff happens. We had a difficult rental experience -in the middle of our trip the car had a electronic malfunction requiring a warranty repair. Enterprise near the location had a recent hail storm which made vehicles scarce and did not have a full sized SUV available. The reason for a 5 star rating is how Tyre in Castle Rock handled it. He was there for us the entire experience. We came up with a creative solution and the trip was successful. Thank you Tyre. read more

Driving along peacefully. Minding my own bidness in the right-hand lane. Driving next to me was a very attractive young lady. Or at least I thought she was until she decided to make a right hand turn without looking into her blind spot to see lil' old me. "No problem," I said, after she squished my car up against the curb while I was honking maniacally; as the right side of her car scratched its way down the entire left side of mine. "We'll just exchange driver's licenses and insurance information and be on our way," I naively offered. "Uhhhhh. I don't have my license with me," she mumbled. Great. Friggin' great. So I had to call the cops and wait around most of the afternoon until they decided that our accident was more interesting than their Voodoo's bacon maple bar doughnuts. Now what's this got to do with Enterprise Rent-A-Car? Well, turns out my young negligent auto-wrecker acquaintance was at least insured, and the insurance folks were nice enough not to argue about liability. They gave me a fair repair estimate that included the use of a rental car from . . . yes . . . Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The folks there could not have been nicer. Met me at the auto-body shop when they said they would. Took me back to their place and supplied me with a brand spankin' new Toyota Camry. Later, the shop had to order more parts and the folks at Enterprise were as accommodating as could be to extend the rental period. Brought it back this afternoon, and again they were quick, efficient and friendly. I understand that every experience is unique and that maybe you didn't get the great, hassle-free treatment that I did. But, dang it, Enterprise you were as woohoo as it gets so, BOING, you get 5 stars and I get a newly repaired car. Seems fair to me. read more

After 2 months of back and forth with these people, no resolution and we just had to deal with paying double the amount for a rental car elsewhere, after we had made a reservation months in advance. You just keep getting pretty much the same email, worded a little differently, from a different "manager". I guess their move is to just give you the run-around until you get frustrated and give up. Seriously consider NOT renting from these people if you are from out of town, or really at all. Really incredibly unprofessional and just a shame... read more

Horrible service. Lost wages because I had a car booked for an out of town gig. The day the car was reserved they did not have a car for me, and the next day they did not have one either. They said it was not their fault. The 3rd day they had one for me and literally acted like they were doing me a favor. Wow. I have emailed to customer care as asked and they always say regional office will contact me. No contact and no resolution. It has been 2 months. The family values they claim to have are null and void. They do not care about customers. They care about getting their money only. Do not rent from them. read more

I have never written a negative review before but I am shocked at how I was treated by an employee here. A hail storm came through Denver which left Enterprise really low on inventory. I understand that it is difficult to rent out vehicles when you are down cars. This review isn't about the fact they don't have a car for me. The lack of communication and the unprofessionalism on phone calls with Shateek (sp?) have been absolutely shocking. My SUV is in the shop from someone hitting it. On day 3 without a rental, this morning, he called and told me that there were 2 sedans available. I explained that I had work meetings and couldn't get a ride until ~3:30 pm to pick up one of the cars and expressed my concern and asked if I would miss out on a car because of that. I was assured multiple times by Shateek "the later the better" and that by that point maybe even an SUV would be available. He told me to call back at 3:30. When I called at 3:30 pm he said he gave away one of the cars to another reservation and that they lost the keys for the other car so no cars are available today. Multiple times he blamed me for "not taking the original car offered" which wasn't true.. I said I wasn't sure if that a Nissan Versa would work but I can't get a ride there until 3:30 anyways which he said would BE BETTER. When I reminded him that he assured me the later the better because they would have an even better chance of getting me in a car, he snapped back and told me that not having a ride to pick up the car wouldn't have stopped him and he "would have walked there if he had to". Blaming the customer for you giving a car away to someone else and not having the keys to the other one is one of the most outlandish things. He was defensive and fired up the entire conversation. He continually diminished my need for a car and even told me I was "inconsiderate" for being persistent on needing a car because other people might "have kids or are handicapped". This man knew nothing about my situation or why having a car is just as important to me.. what if I have kids? What if I am handicapped? What if I need to go to doctor appointments? Go to work? I was absolutely shocked to be called inconsiderate. During this conversation, as I sought to understand what happened and how this can be resolved he told me he had dozens of calls with other people today who he told weren't getting a car and "none of them were a 10-minute phone call like this one." The entire call he was extremely rude and condescending. I have NEVER experienced customer service like this. I am shocked at how he spoke to me and all the condescending remarks. I have honestly never been spoken to the way this guy spoke to me. Completely uncalled for and unprofessional. There's a way to communicate disappointing news to a customer. Defensiveness, blame, and condescension is not it. read more

I rented a Nissan Altima in Montana to drive to Denver. Each day I had the car, I saw a warning light that the front tire was low. I took it to the closest Enterprise three days in a row and after they filled it up, they explained that the warning light was faulty, and that they could not replace the vehicle. Instead, they sent me (on my vacation) to the only Firestone open on a Sunday to get a new tire, where I was told the wait was at least 2 hours, even though I had an appointment. On 5/19, I was supposed to drive back to Montana, and I had an unhelpful, condescending conversation with roadside assistance personnel as I looked at the now almost flat tire. FINALLY, I found Jake and Adam at 1790 South Broadway, Denver, CO. They were not only sympathetic, apologetic, and very kind...they replaced the vehicle immediately. They were both friendly and professional, and went above and beyond to fix a series of unbelievably inadequate encounters and suggestions, including advising me to drive on an almost flat tire across town to "fill up the tire again." (yes, roadside assistance operator - I mean you). read more

Be aware of forceful insurance sale. I am from Canada and has never had any issue renting cars from different agencies. This particular joint requests you to provide a proof of insurance and will take all possible chances to deem your insurance not applicable. Had to call my insurance company and spent 1 hour trying to justify that I have valid car insurance that covers rental cars in the United States. Huge waste of time! Very disappointed and this is a shame on the enterprise car rental name. Be prepared and stand firmly on your ground. No a pleasant experience when you are traveling and had limited time. read more

Great customer service! Meghan was wonderful!

the 1 star they did receive is for the new persons , and the managers that come on and save face for Melissa every time. Melissa's unwelcoming attitude, accompanied with her lack of knowledge on how things are done or how they work, she continuously expressed that "she had no idea what was going on" and wasn't able to help with multiple situations. I had a stabased size car booked. She called me to express their location only had larger vehicles when I explained that was fine I would take a larger vehicle I was called back explaining there were no SUV's only standard sized cars, when I explained that's what I originally wanted and it was fine there magically weren't any cars available I could try again tomorrow. The manager called me back shortly and explained that they did in fact have a car available and I could come pick it up same day. when I came back to switch out the vehicle I was told "she didn't know what was going on" and wouldn't be able to help once again. Positives: -Speedy transactions -Few lines -Great customer service -Reliable -Excellent car -Excellent price -Did not feel pressured or ripped off Negatives: -Nothing, really Absolutely amazing experience with this place. Admittedly, I may be slightly biased having recently experienced two very terrible rental car companies, but this place was just great. From the very beginning, I experienced no lines whatsoever, not even to get on the bus to get to the rental car center. The woman who helped me out was extremely friendly and nice. She was very good about presenting me the possibility of buying car insurance, but not pressuring me. I think she was very convincing and honestly, I was much closer to purchasing insurance from her than the lady who tried to constantly pressure me to buy insurance at another company earlier. I had booked online with a code from the Entertainment Book and I wasn't sure if it went through. When I checked with the girl at the front desk, she smiled, and said, yes absolutely, you will get the discount. I also was unsure if the changes I had made to the rental car checkout time were correct. She also cleared that up for me in no time and made sure it wasn't a problem (I had had problems with this with other companies before). When we checked out the car, she went over it with me to find any scratches or nicks or damages to the car. She let me take my time to inspect it, without rushing me. The car was great the entire time. When I returned the car, it was speedy, the customer service was great, and most of all, they showed that they trusted me. Bottom line: I will rent from Enterprise as often as I can after this experience. I don't care if it costs more, it's worth it. read more

BEWARE! Worst rental experience ever. BEWARE! Rented car at 1st and Broadway in Denver for less than 24hrs with a weekend dropoff. Filed a claim against me for hail damage that apparently happened on their lot without my prior knowledge. Would not refund my $150 deposit and said the hail was on "the entire surface of the vehicle". And that the amount owed, (could be in the thousands???), would be determined by the adjuster! We sent someone to inspect damage. There was never any hail that weekend or any visable hail damage to car. No reports of hail that day in Colorado. This screams of a complete scam. Because this location closes at 12pm on Saturdays I couldn't take it back. I am very disappointed and contacted the corporate office. I have been informed that it is a perfectly legal contract for services rendered with my signature and no refund will be provided. Golf clap to the unscrupulous young man for his brilliant con. I assume there is a direct financial incentive to perpetrate this type of fraud. This is a solid location to rent a car, especially if you live in the Baker or Speer neighborhoods and are in need for a vehicle for a couple of days.
