13/10 - Highly recommend !! So, allow me to preface this with a little background: my car broke down and I was looking for a rental car until the mechanic fixed mine. I started with the Enterprise near my home in Cheeseman/Congress Park area. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything available. So I took a Lyft to the Enterprise Rent A Car at 351 N Broadway (terrible- do not recommend!) They didn't have anything except a muscle car available. There is an Enterprise Rent A Car a few blocks down on the SAME ROAD that had "normal" cars and SUV available. I was lucky, and had JUST BARELY enough time to get a ride there and pick up a regular SUV with a quiet motor and a regular steering column etc. I feel very safe in the vehicle I'm driving. So if you need a vehicle, ask for JAKE at 1790 S Broadway. He was incredibly patient and kind, despite the minute that it was a last minute reservation, and nearly closing time. He apologized to me for "having to wait." He seemed exhausted. I told him please not to apologize and thanked him for helping me out at the last minute. He was able to get me a very clean (immaculate) vehicle within 10 minutes or so. The car has no damage, only 11k miles, and drives so well on the road. It's a Mazda Cx-5 for reference and the steering wheel is neither too loose nor too hard. It's been about 10 days since I got my rental and I've had to extend the rental period twice already- Jake made it easy for me to do that. I am definitely going to let Corporate know about Jake and hopefully he'll get a promotion and a big raise soon! **UPDATE: Somehow the key fob broke in half and I lost half of it - which had the battery. So, I was unable to return the car as planned. Jake sent me the number for roadside assistance. The roadside assistance sent Pete's Towing to help me, giving me an estimated time of arrival window of 90 minutes. The roadside assistance team sent me text updates. The guy from Pete's Towing called me two or three times to give me status updates. He arrived within the 90 minute window. I was able to wait down the street in my apartment with A/C on instead of having to stand outside in the summer heat, because he called me when he was ten minutes away to let me know. He opened the car door in about 1 minute and surprisingly the car actually turned on! So I was able to get my belongings out of the SUV, and then I drove it back down to Enterprise at 1790 S Broadway. Jake and his colleague were there, super understanding and incredibly kind. They took the car key, quickly collected my debit card for the remainder of the fee, and offered to find me a ride back home if I needed one. I was able to wait quietly in their office while waiting for my Lyft back home. Definitely would recommend this team and this location. The person that picked me up from the car collision spot was super nice. That being said, the rest of my experience left a lot to be desired. First of all, I had a reservation time but had to wait for the car to be cleaned and ready. Even then, I didn't think the car was cleaned that well... The car play in the car doesn't really work. I wasn't the only one who tested it and it freezes or has a really hard time connecting with the USB plugged in. I was better off using my phone holder add-on, which was disappointing. The car needed maintenance in 600 miles and because I needed this rental until my car was repaired, it felt like another thing hanging over my head. Lastly, I had to fill up the air in the tires a few days after I got the car...I suspect a leak from the last driver. I feel like they could have done a better job checking and maintaining the car, so I'd have a different experience. The rest of the service was okay, and I unfortunately had to call back a few times about billing (my insurance agent told me I was incorrectly charged). read more

Wow! I've never thought I would have to write a review like this. So we rented a car from here while my wife's vehicle was getting worked on. It was through insurance. And I'm very aware of how the maximums work, and max daily rates. But yesterday my wife gets a call saying" Hey, so you were supposed to return the vehicle 3 days ago, and we are going to charge you 150 dollars. We tried calling you 3 days ago" But, for one, my wife never got a call from them when they said they did. And 2 we have multiple documents, and I have recorded phone calls (I record anyone that isn't in my contacts for this reason) they state we could have this vehicle for 28 days, and the daily rate is 35 dollars. Mind you, this was way under my daily rental limit. And we were happy. When they called (7/31/23) we were actually on our 27th day. Also when they called we were going to pick up my wife's repaired vehicle and then return the vehicle. So, I immediately called our insurance because I'm the policyholder. I got a hold of an outstanding agent. I explained the situation to her. She wanted to help, so she called the enterprise location for us to resolve this. Come to find out, the location she called was the ORIGINAL location we wanted to pick up the car. So this location never updated anything on the insurance side. But the other enterprise agent was super helpful. He even stated that this car was 41 dollars and some change from them. Not the 50 that this location was going to try to pull a fast one and charge us. So with my insurance on the line, and the other enterprise rep, we called this location. And this manager originally had no intention of helping us. Even when my insurance stayed, they never changed anything to say we picked it up from them, etc. And she then pointed out that it shows that the car was originally listed as 41 dollars. The manager didn't want to hear it. He stated," Well your wife signed the contract with the stated price". She indeed did. But my wife pulled up the contract on her phone, and this location's daily rate was showing 37 dollars. Again, not the 50 he tried saying it was. He ended up saying he was going to cancel the billing, and he would look into it. Even though he said he has been the only one that has personally combed through her file. I told him I will email him the contract we have on our phone. He was reluctant to give me his email (he asked me to just bring it in, even though he told us he wasn't going to be there when she dropped it off). He did eventually give me his email to send him that information. At this point, it truly looks like he was trying to take advantage of my wife. She has a recorded call from someone at that location saying "Oh we will charge your card for 150 when you get here". And the manager told me, my insurance, and the manager of the other location" Your wife will owe $99 because we have a 50 dollar deposit from you". So again, stuff isn't adding up. And I ended up sending everything we had, recordings, contracts, etc. To my insurance because they wanted it as well to help back us up. Recently rented a Toyota Rav for a trip out to Beaver Creek . I guess it was my naïveté to think that a suv would actually be an awd vehicle. The vehicle I received did not meet the Colorado Traction Laws which require Awd ,fwd , or at the least tires rated for mountain/ snow . I was not made aware of these local laws by this branch and as a result lucky not to have crashed or ticketed while driving I70 thru Aspen pass during a recent storm . Have had good service at this location for a number of years but today tried to give me a car with obvious alignment problem- front passenger tire had bald inner and outer shoulders with barely acceptable tread in middle. Then the guy gets a tread gauge and measured middle tread but not the bald outer and inner shoulders and tells me it meets company standards. Reservations made 4/1/21 and when I tell him I'm going to mountain town with snow predicted so won't take car that needs repairs, he tells me no other cars available! So I find all of Denver without cars. I knew the shortage of rentals when I reserved 4 months ahead. Doesn't seem unreasonable to expect a safe car being rented over a week but this place doesn't seem to know about maintenance of their fleet. The other lady that inspected my rental car was extremely friendly as well . They gave me a nice car . The car was nice but I really appreciate their Amazing customer service. This Enterprise location has always done right by us . . . so far. Enterprise always has very good customer service on-location, especially at the airport. But this location is closer to downtown Denver, and is solid. Friendly staff and decent prices. They don't tend to carry a lot of cars, so you can usually get away with renting a cheaper car online and then getting a free upgrade when you arrive. Plus, even if not, they'll usually give you a deal to upgrade if given their random inventory and small lot. read more

My experience with Enterprise started off poor. I thought I had called the location closest to my house. I hit #2 to make a reservation which apparently connects you to an off site rep. I made a reservation and confirmed it was for the location on Broadway. When I went to pick up my car this morning the enterprise I thought my reservation was at did not have it, and did not have any cars available, that was very disappointing. It turned out my reservation was for a different location on Broadway (this location). When I got here they were very friendly and professional. They knew about the mishap and the level of customer service they provided was exceptional. Initially, I had a bad experience. I don't typically review bad experiences, hoping it's a one off situation. I work in sales/customer service, I understand how damaging it can be, especially for an "off day." I came back and expressed my dissatisfaction and how it was unacceptable. I was sent out with a vehicle that had a obvious unsafe tire. When I pointed this out the customer service person insisted that they were sorry for my"inconvenience", completely dismissed my concerns that the vehicle is unsafe. So now I am on a "list" to get a replacement vehicle. I rented this vehicle because I need it. So I feel like my only option is to drive an unsafe vehicle until my name comes up on this "list" , or paying for a vehicle that I can't use. Reserved a luxury car for a special trip for my wife two weeks in advance. I then called ahead on the day of the rental and they said they had my car. When we got there, they didn't have a luxury car, but they had a full sized which we reluctantly agreed to take, but it was filthy. So we told them we would go to lunch and come back. "Take your time" said the clerk with a smile. When we came back an hour later, I was told THEY SOLD THE CAR. Read that again, THEY SOLD THE CAR! W T F???? And they offered us a Hyundai instead. And because it was now 4 hours later and late in the day, I had no options left. I left, never to use this despicable, inept, lousy company again. Geico hooked me up with a car rental after my Jeep got totalled. They set up the reservation and not 20 minutes later, Enterprise called asking me when I wanted to pick up my rental car. They were super flexible and accommodating and called to check in and make sure everything was OK. They even offered to drive me back to work when I dropped it off after 2 weeks. There was only a short wait each time I went and I was in and out in no time. I just feel bad for the lady in front of me who was getting a rental car because her Subaru got stolen from in front of her house. That's gotta suck. And the people at Rent-A-Car on S. I make it a point of pride never to review anything on the first try. That's not a critique of all-a-y'all who do that; if you had a bad experience at a restaurant that's been review 100x, it is totally legit to give them one star because the food and service were slow. If it was an aberration, the other 99 reviews will set it straight. All this is a preamble to me saying that I'm really cautious about my reviews until I've had a couple of experiences with a company. I've rented from Enterprise on S Broadway three times, and have received fantastic, immaculate, respectful and helpful service every single time. I've dealt with Parker (the manager) and Erica (Asst. Manager), and have always had great service. Once was after a car accident, and they coordinated seamlessly with my insurance company and auto body shop to have the car ready and covered when we needed it. They fit the price of the car to my auto coverage, even though it was technically one size too big (I should have been charge $3 a day). Another time, they went out of their way to get me a car even though they were plum out. Cars have always been clean, running well, and damage free. They don't have a ton of cars, so if you *need* some specific sized SUV or something, you might need to reserve way in advance or you'll probably have to go out to the airport. I flew in from Dallas for a little time in Denver.I decided to rent a car instead of Uber.I rented a Toyota and it was great.One problem,somebody had smoked in the vehicle before me.The smell was faint at first but after rolling up the windows it was obvious.I aired out the car and finished the rental period,I alerted Monica to the smoke smell and she handled the situation to my satisfaction.Wonderful experience.I will rent from this location again next time in Denver. read more

This Enterprise location has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions to work with me and provide excellent customer service. I reserved a rental from them at Christmas and was happy with the service experience at that time and I have now used them for a rental during some car repairs. Their location is extremely busy and I see them working very hard to go the extra mile and provide excellent service. Kevin "picked me up" and was friendly and professional, Cam worked with me to solve issues with my insurance, and Aniqua was great when my rental vehicle had a recall issue. I went to another location to change out vehicles and did not have a similar experience. Very disappointed but it encouraged me to write a review about the Broadway location- y'all rock every time. Funny story. The car I've been renting from these guys was stolen this morning. Home invasion, perpetrators found my keys in the kitchen and drove off with my car. CLEARLY, you never expect something like this to happen. It's my fault for not taking out insurance on the car when I initially rented it (lesson learned there), so when this happened, I immediately called Enterprise to let them know. Being that this has never happened to me I was ignorant to all the policies and procedures involved with claims and whatnot, so I blindly signed my rental agreement where it said "We'll take out $50 now, and since you have a $1000 deductible, you'll be responsible for any damages up to the $1000." Knowing this, I called them to see what was going on with my car when CAMERON RACINE (manager) said, "Yeah, we're gonna go ahead and take out the $950 because that's what you owe." I told him to PLEASE not do that because obviously I was unprepared for this to happen and didn't budget myself for this. I told him - BEGGED him - not to do anything just yet because I had no food in my fridge and still needed to pay off primary bills and buy groceries. I told him that if he were to do that I would have NO money to live on until my next paycheck, which isn't for another 2 weeks. He might as well have said "TOO BAD" because he had zero sympathy for my situation and said he was going to run the card. I asked him - BEGGED him - to please consider a payment plan option in which I would pay them $300 once every week for three weeks until it was paid. He said he would speak to his boss and get back to me. We hung up and I waited... While I waited I decided to go outside and get some fresh air and calm down. Just for shits and giggles I decided to check my bank account to see where I stood and to see if it would be possible for me to pay them MORE than the $300 I initially offered to pay for my first installment. You know what this asshole did?? NO MORE THAN 5 MINUTES AFTER OUR CONVERSATION HE F*CKING RAN MY CARD FOR $950! He said he would get back to me to let me know, and instead he just ran my card for the full amount without warning me, even after I BEGGED him not to because I still needed to buy groceries and take care of my primary bills. I begged him to empathize with my situation, but this guy adamantly refused to even consider it. No less than 12 hours after the car was stolen - I don't even think they bothered to look at the police report - they got theirs and left me to live off of $50 for TWO WEEKS. I've NEVER experienced anything like this in my life. Even when I ran a bartending school and people couldn't pay the full amount, I always empathized with them and worked with what they had in their budget, so long as there was an agreement or contract that we could pull money from their account at a set time. When I called him back to ask WHY TF this happened, he said, and I QUOTE, "It's whatever, I ran it." I'M NOT KIDDING! This dude, CAMERON RACINE, actually said that to me. I asked him to repeat what he JUST said to me, and he kept repeating that his boss told him to run my card. I was like, "You told me you would see about giving me an option to pay in installments! You said you would speak with your boss and get back to me to see about this being an option, but instead you just ran my card because it's 'WHATEVER'?? How could you do that? You told me you would see about working with me, but you couldn't even give me a courtesy call to tell me you would be running it? This is so wrong... This is SO morally and ethically wrong." At the end of the day, Enterprise DOES NOT live up to their customer service promise. Customer service, my ass. IT'S WRONG. What they did - they way they treated me today - was ETHICALLY and MORALLY WRONG on so many levels. It's disgusting. I never said I wouldn't pay the $1000. I was willing to work with them, but instead of working with me, they screwed me. F*ck Enterprise, and F*CK YOU, Cameron Racine. You are a low, unsympathetic human piece of trash. I have no money to pay for my food for 2 weeks thanks to YOU. If this sort of behavior is common with all Enterprise employees, then do yourself a favor, people: Always get insurance on your rental and NEVER deal with Enterprise. They won't care if you have 3 babies to feed and $2 in your bank account. They're just greedy bastards unwilling to sympathize with anyone's situation. They'll take your money and straight-up f*ck you if they have to. read more

So I scheduled a reservation online at carrentals.com. I called Enterprise right after to schedule a pickup and got everything setup for the next morning. 8:00am rolls around, and no car. 8:05 and I decide to call because I cannot afford any slack in my timeline, and I paid for a rental that started at 8:00. When I called: "Oh, I'm so glad you called. We didn't have the area code for your phone because someone made a mistake and we couldn't call you. We can't come pick you up because it's 20-30 minutes and it's snowing and there's another Enterprise closer to you." Please note, the snow was melted, and this was a TEN minute drive. Also, this is five minutes past the time they already were supposed to pick me up. I have to get to this enterprise because I purchased insurance through carrentals.com and didn't want the added stress of moving it to a different company or finding out if it could even be transferred for the day. I shouldn't even be having to think about all this. I took care of it the day before for a specific reason. So, I get on the bus and spend more money getting to my rental car. And add 30 minutes on the bus that I didn't have. I get there and there isn't a reservation in my name, even though I had everything completely set up the day before. There isn't a single attempt at customer service until I ask "Are you going to give me a discount because of all that has happened in the past hour?" The manager I'm assuming walks up and says, "Oh, 10%." Please note, I was not being polite at this point and was REALLY upset, "That is not going to fix this." Because the rentals are pretty reasonably priced to begin with. So, they give me a 20% discount and a free upgrade. ** I will say, Ryan, the gentleman that dropped everything else to get me out the door was VERY friendly and polite. I give him props. I really appreciated his service because I was grumpy and rude at this point. BUT the fact here is that I had two job interviews, which is why I rented the car, and Enterprise made me over an hour late on my schedule, and added a LOT of stress to a time when I didn't need additional stress. I then had to drive like a crazy person to get to my first interview on time, and it cost me additional money to ride the bus instead of getting picked up like I had set up. It was a HORRIBLE experience. I hope that Enterprise reads this- It is NOT okay to just not call or email someone, and not pick them up, when they are expecting a pickup service and a rental car for a day. Bottom line. And on top of that to not make their experience AWESOME in order to make up for it is just horrible customer service. read more

The rental process went fine, but my husband had to do all the dealing while I waited outside, because I am allergic to chemical perfumes and this office was full-on scented like a gas station bathroom. Horrible. The car itself has a "new car" smell that I am ok with for a short while. read more

About as bad as it gets. Went to pick up my rental this am that has been reserved for about a month. Of course I get there they have no record of my reservation. I finally get my reservation sorted out and am told they have very few cars to pick from. I wait almost an hour for them to get the vehicle ready. They then pull out the vehicle which is not the same I was promised 30 min prior. It was filthy dirty, and had stains/burns on the seats. Seriously they don't deserve 1 star...I would give them negative ones if this website would let me. Highly disorganized, and employees are clearly not on the same page. read more
