Our flight was about two hours delayed however they still let us rent a car within the allotted time. We got a compact car for about $112.00. If I could give 0 stars I would. This disorganization and lack of communication here is by far the worst I've experienced. The cherry on top was the attitude and rudeness from the manager Jessica Rudolph. I was able to rent a vehicle not too long ago on a debit card deposit with an out of state license. Fast forward to today less than a month, I am being told I need a credit card or proof of residence to rent with a debit card deposit. None of this info was relayed to me prior. The manager threatened to call the cops on me because I was upset at wasting my time, the lack of communication, and the lack of reprimlanding the situation and refused to give me a ride back home. read more

Using a card membership to get your discounts is the way to go. So thank you, Costco! Reserved a car online after I had some repais done and still needed transport in the interim. The customer service at pickup was excellent. Ask for Craig. He was funny and patient and worked hard to get out quickly. Located right on Concord Mills Blvd made it easy for both pickup and return with a large parking lot. I like this location better than Concord Regional Airport. You go inside the airpory itself to sign your rental and then back out to a secure area to retrieve your rental. Concord Mills Speedway location just worked better logistically, especially if someone is dropping you off and waiting. This is a good convenient location, good service and market rates. read more

I rented a Jeep Cherokee from this company yesterday, and by the time I got home, one of the tires had dangerously low pressure--down to 20. I called them, and they told me I could bring the car back to switch it out. But when I arrived, suddenly, there were no cars available. Then, Kenzie gave me a repair shop address and told me to take the car there to get it fixed. She did mention that they would cover the cost, but the fact that she even brought it up--like I should be okay with handling the repair myself--was incredibly rude and unprofessional. It was as if she expected me to be fine with the inconvenience and the risk. I had already paid out of pocket to put air in the tire just to drive the car safely, and the entire experience made me feel completely unsafe. Now, I'm sitting here, waiting for them to find me another car, and I see zero effort on their part. This company clearly doesn't care about customer safety or service. This is crazy, one of the worst experiences I had here at this location in Concord Speedway location. Concord, NC. I go to the location for a rental right, I placed a reservation in February. Reserved a sport vehicle, nothing else. I head up there and they only had one vehicle in the parking lot as far as compact and economy, they didn't even hold it for me. The manager and the other associate said I only had compact reservation. In which can't be, because I have the email, voicemail from them, reservation number, etc for the sports car. But they didn't have it and gave the last compact car to another customer after I already had a reservation for a car they didn't provide and wouldn't have me rent it because they gave it to another customer. The manager told me there's nothing he can do and have to drive to another location. No discount, nothing to compensate the mistake they have made. I have the time and date for them, they can look back on the cameras to show the very worst customer service. This is not cool at all. I don't recommend this location at all. The manager knows he's wrong but didn't want to rectify the situation. read more

Updated review: the manager I spoke with swore up and down that I wouldn't get charged for an extra day and they would keep their word but lo and behold I got charged for an extra day which cost an additional $102. Do not trust these people! Really difficult series of events had me in a precarious situation dropping a key off in a box at a rental place that had shut down because of record breaking bad weather conditions in Savannah Georgia. It would've been great if the manager from where I rented the car to begin with (Concord enterprise in North Carolina on Sossamon) had Customer Service skills. I would highly recommend this location hire professional development for their team. I felt gaslighted, patronized, and talked down to. I wanted an email confirmation and was treated like it was ridiculous for me to ask for it. I'll update this depending on how things turn out but it was a horrible experience after a horrible series of events. I have two words for this manager and that is "customer service". Learn it and apply it in your job and what that means is to seek to understand what the customer's concern is and do everything in your power to address it. Not to gaslight them or condescend or patronize. You are there to serve your customers not to tell them they're ridiculous for having a concern. I just rented a car from an Enterprise in Concord and I have never had a more messed up experience. 1st... I booked the car at the wrong location, then the rental was way more than the price on my conf and I was unable to bring up my email on my phone so I took it. I had to extend the rental for 1 day and that got all messed up.. BUT the employees at Enterprise were so kind, so understanding and took such good care of me that I would give them 10 stars if I could. I have used Enterprise since 1994 and I never use anyone else. Everytime I have rented from them, even if it gets messed up, they are so easy to deal with and we have always come to an amicable resolution. I highly recommend them! read more

I have been using this Enterprise location for the past few months, and I've had nothing but fabulous service. I have now become a regular and Christian and Spencer are always friendly when I walk in, even if they're swamped. They always accommodate me when I ask them for certain prices on vehicles, so I don't get in trouble with my boss. I sadly, will be moving to Morganton by the end of the year, and I hope the next Enterprise, I encounter the same fantastic service that Christian and Spencer show me every time I walk in. Do not use this location if you have a need to leave your personal car or need a lift back to your house after the rental is over. I have used this branch for years. I rented a 15 passenger van (Ford Transit) from this location and it was the easiest rental experience I have ever had. I had a terrible day today that was made worse by my experience at Enterprise (7704 Sossamon Ln NW, Concord, NC 28027). After hitting an exposed manhole cover, I needed a rental car while my vehicle was being repaired. Despite my past negative experiences with Enterprise, I chose them because they were nearby. I made a reservation and arrived by Uber at the scheduled pickup time. Upon arrival, I was told the car wasn't ready and had to wait while it was being cleaned. When the car was finally available, a stocky African American gentleman walked me out to it. I explained my situation, emphasizing that I just needed a short-term replacement. He asked if I wanted insurance, and I firmly declined. Despite this, he continued to pressure me about the benefits of the insurance, making me feel uncomfortable and frustrated. I explained to him that during a previous visit another representative had been incredibly aggressive and convinced me to get the insurance by reducing the price of my car and upgrading the class, but that after turning the car back in I was still charged for the insurance for many weeks worth afterwards and it took months to get a refund. He then made a comment about insurance being "cheaper than $4100 for hitting a manhole cover" which was incredibly insensitive given my situation. When we moved to the payment step, I was informed that, because I have an out-of-state driver's license, I had to use a credit card. This requirement was not mentioned anywhere during the reservation process or in their policies. My credit card was declined because, unbeknownst to me, there was a $300 deposit in addition to the rental fee. I offered to use my debit card or cash, but he refused and did not offer any alternatives, such as splitting the payment. I was left stranded in 100-degree weather with no way to get home. The representative suggested I wait inside, but after his dismissive attitude, I chose to wait for another Uber outside. This experience was the final straw in a series of poor interactions with Enterprise. Upon reviewing their Renter Requirements and Forms of Payment policies, I found no mention of the out-of-state license credit card requirement. This should be clearly communicated during the reservation process to avoid leaving customers stranded. I will be leaving negative reviews on all platforms, filing business complaints, and contacting the site manager, franchise manager (if applicable), area/regional manager, and corporate offices. This experience has ensured that I will never use Enterprise Rent-A-Car again, but something needs to be done about these misleading policies and aggressive salespeople. read more

This was a absolute nightmare. I had my reservation booked and confirmed. When we got to the pick up location they refused to give us a car, saying they didn't do one-way rentals. This resulted in a $90 taxi ride, an hotel for the night (it was 8:30pm with nothing else open) , an additional $90 taxi ride to another location the next day and a day's business lost. After numerous phone calls and emails, they still haven't responded to our request for reimbursement. They cost us more than $1000.00 in one 24 hour period. We definitely will not be using them again. read more

A family member's car didn't start on a Monday morning. So we booked a last minute car rental online so she could get around while it was being fixed. During the booking process a phone number etc is required. When we arrived at the location, the front desk person said there were no cars available, and they did not have a number to call to let us know. (Yeah sure). There were several cars in the parking lot. He proceeded to tell me those cars were for people who made reservations ahead of me (2 weeks prior). Obviously if a reservation was made due to car issues it cannot be made 2 weeks in advance, as he suggested. Also, why are reservations allowed if they have no cars available? B. S. He said a car would be available in 4 hours and grinned like he was doing me a favor. Please. Bye. Anyhow, we ended up going to Hertz at the Embassy Suites down the street. The Weddington Rd. office in Concord, NC has horrible customer service. Reserved a vehicle over a month ago. I called to confirm my pickup 2 days ago and was told they now wouldn't pick me up (even though they advertise it) because it is Saturday and they may be short staffed. I get there today, after finding someone to drop me off, and unless I take a mini-van or smaller car, there is not one available. The SUV I reserved isn't available. So, why not pick up the phone and call me OR set aside the cars that you have reservations for! Absolutely unacceptable service! No customer service at all. I recently had an accident so I had to find a rental while my car was in shop. I called this location for rental car since it's closest to my house. I asked their rate and than checked what Priceline was quoting me for the same type of car. I ask them to see if they are willing to match that price for me and he said sure, I will do that for you. So, I asked him what cars he has in so I can pick out the one I want and luckily they had Toyota Camry so I booked it. I drove to their location and picked up the car in no time. Two weeks later, I found out that my car will be in shop more than what I expected so I needed a extension, the lady said no problem, we will take care of it. I found out from my adjuster that I can have them direct bill the insurance company that way I stay out of the picture. I called in again and they were really helpful in setting it up. Now, you may think that why would I give them only four star if they were really nice and helpful? Well, couple of reasons. 1) The car was 2010 Camry however it had stain on the floor and back seat. 2) Both time, they didn't offer me for pick up or drop off and they are always bragging about it in their commercial on TV. read more

The last car I got I believe the tachometer was broken and the car before that I drove with the check engine light on after they said it would turn off. They had approved the rental b/c they're policy holder was at fault but hadn't sent needed documents to Enterprise to cover everything. Jordan, an awesome employee at the Weddington Enterprise location took excellent care of getting everything closed out including reaching out to Erie. I really appreciate the staff at this location. I have rented from this location lots of times and this was my worst experience yet. Although I have rented from here numerous times, I still have to give the same information over and over again because for some reason their computer systems are incapable of creating an account that houses information. I rented a car for a week. In the past when Ive rented a car and went over the days for the rental agreement, Enterprise would take the daily rate out of the $100 deposit. This time they decided to change their policy without notification and charge my debit the card the daily rate. I got the run around and had been told about 2-3 different reasons why on one phone call. The lack of knowledge about their own policies from the employees to the Manager was very disappointing. Even after I dropped off the vehicle over night, the policy they advised me of wasn't even done when charging me the difference. They took the difference out the deposit anyway for the extra day. They have no clue about what they are doing and I'm highly disappointed. I'll be looking for a new rental car company. read more

Loved the Kia Soul, love Enterprise. A little glitch at check in, they kept telling me I should have hit #4 on phone tree, otherwise not talking to this location, and they didn't have the economy I asked for, and I would have to pay for mid size. That needs to be fixed. However, manager straightened it out and we were on our way. I got the mid size Kia for the economy price, but as that is a busy location, the phone reservation system should be improved upon. read more
