The front desk

I don't like this enterprise location as much, they only ever have 1 worker actually running the front when I have ever came in and it's a bit slow. The front desk area smells musty and the cars they have were alright but I just wasn't a fan of this experience and I won't be returning to this particular location but I didn't have issues with my rental and the experience was decent

WORST EXPERIENCE RETURNING FROM MY UNCLE'S FUNERAL My sister, Gwendolyn [GWEN] King and I have always used ENTERPRISE car rental when we travel back home to Port Arthur, TX. Our Uncle passed and we were going to Port Arthur, TX for his funeral service. I reserved an SUV (documents attached). Pickup on June 19, 2025 Return on June 21, 2025 S. May's location in Round Rock, TX I forgot that the last time I reserved an SUV (same location), I needed a major credit card. So I had to cancel my reservation. My sister, Gwendolyn [GWEN] King reserved a mini van. Pickup on June 19, 2025 Return on June 20, 2025 4352 IH-35 Austin TX 78745 Going to Port Arthur, TX was great but coming back to Austin, TX was a painful nightmare. A little after 2pm we are leaving the Houston area on IH-10 the engine light, a turtle above the D with alert displayed: STOP SAFELY VEHICLE WILL SHUT DOWN SOON We made it to a store in Sealy (Kathy's Corner 9027 IH-10 Sealy TX 77474) and the vehicle literally shut down. WE WERE STRANDED Gwen called Enterprise customer service. They told her someone will be calling back within 30 minutes. That never happened. 4 BLACK WOMEN 3 KIDS UNDER 6 WE WERE STRANDED IN THE HEAT OF THE DAY FOR HOURS WITHOUT ANY ASSISTANCE. It's around 7ish when I talked with a guy with a Muslim name. He told us, "when that alert comes on to ease off the accelerator then press on the accelerator. It would automatically go into gas mode." We tried and it failed. Gwen called Enterprise Customer Service again. Someone from Road Side Assistance called her back. They said, "they don't do service calls and they don't charge electric vehicles. Since we didn't have a commercial vehicle they couldn't help us." I called Enterprise Road Side Assistance a guy by the name of Deon assisted us. He created a ticket for service, he sent me links to keep up on the ETA. I get a call saying someone will come to tow the minivan. I asked what will happen to us. He said that we would have to wait for an Uber but the limit is 5 people so two Uber vehicles would pick us up to bring us to Alamo Airport. Now it's night time and nobody showed up. Deon from Enterprise Road Side Assistance called me back because someone canceled our work ticket. He created another one and sent me a link. A guy by the name of SAM called after 9pm. He said someone will be there in 60-90 minutes to tow the minivan. He then says, "Uber can only take us within 50 miles. Anything after that would be our responsibility." The minivan actually started with no alerts until we were entering LaGrange TX. The engine light, a turtle above the D with alert displayed: STOP SAFELY VEHICLE WILL SHUT DOWN SOON STRANDED AGAIN Gwen made phone calls again It's after 11pm and she gets a text message from a tow service saying HERE. They were at Kathy's Corner. She told them we are at Whataburger in LaGrange, TX. I noticed Gwen limping while walking and talking with someone from the towing service. Gwen's daughter saw a plug at Whataburger and charged the minivan. It's after 1am and we try to start the minivan and it started. As we were driving on Hwy 71, someone flagged us down because the back lights were off. We didn't know how to put the back lights on, we didn't know how to put on the bright lights. Hwy 71 going through Bastrop, TX doesn't have street lights and it's a lot of curves. We couldn't make it out of Bastrop, TX when the engine light, a turtle above the D with alert displayed: STOP SAFELY VEHICLE WILL SHUT DOWN SOON STRANDED AGAIN I called my bonus nephew and told him what was going on. Sent him our location and he showed up. Some of us was packed in his vehicle like sardines in a can but he followed behind Gwen with hazard lights. We couldn't get to Austin, TX good when the engine light, a turtle above the D with alert displayed: STOP SAFELY VEHICLE WILL SHUT DOWN SOON We were on Montopolis and Ben White (Hwy 71) This time, Gwen called Enterprise Road Side Assistance. We waited with her until they towed the minivan. We got home after 4am Gwen ended up going to the Emergency Room. They took x-rays and she has Trochanteric Bursitis (her leg was so swollen from fluid build up in her hip from standing so long). She have to stay off her leg for a whole week so now she's missing work. What is totally unfair is that Enterprise still charged my sister's credit card. No discounts. No apology. We are grieving from losing our Uncle so quickly and to add on to that getting stranded not once but several times. That Enterprise Rep rented us a faulty vehicle...someone reset the check engine light without fixing the problems. Enterprise caused us pain and suffering. That entire bill should be 100% refunded. They should pay for my sister's ER visit and pain meds. In addition, something should be done by Enterprise causing pain and suffering to all 7 of us. Needed a 15 passenger van quick for a work road trip. This location had several! There is not really much room to park here though... luckily I did get a spot otherwise they were telling me to part at the Walmart?!? The van was clean and in good shape! Now this is not what I would call a chic magnet but it was going to do the job of getting several people in it, their luggage, and get us from point a to Point b and then c, d, and E. The staff were great to work with... courteous and quick. The location was simple to find. There is a lot of construction around the site so just be aware. However getting the "magic school bus" for the road trip ended up being easy!

DO NOT RENT AT THIS LOCATION. The most horrible customer service…read more The Manager Associate Liam Loubser has NO answers to any of your questions. I was promised a shuttle service drop off after returning the car but when I got to the rental location, neither Liam nor the shuttle driver was present. Finally I had to Uber home without any charges coverage by Hertz. It doesn't seem like the manager Matthew cares much about what goes on with the employees either as both Liam and shuttle driver left early even though the location is supposed to be open until 5. A third guy was the only person was present when I dropped off the car who called Liam to say "I got a really mad customer here" right in front of me. As if I was being unreasonable. Is this the way to talk to people???!These guys all need a lesson in customer service 101. They even charged me for additional authorized driver even though it is free for Gold members. Nowhere on the website does it mention that a minimum of 3 rentals with the Gold membership is required. So scammy. Now about the car, they had very basic models without the common features found in any 2022 car. No CarPlay or Android auto which is built in feature for most rentals from other companies like National. Save yourself the trouble and get a rental with another company.
