Stay away from this location! Manager Brandon could care less if you have a CONFIRMED reservation. I called 5 days before the car was needed to confirm a "courtesy" home pickup at 11:00 AM to allow me enough time to pick up some out of town guests at the airport. When nobody showed up, I contacted customer service who said they would "notify" the location I was waiting for a pickup. About 11:30 I contacted the location and they told me I was supposed to call them a half hour before they were to pick me up (Brandon said nothing about that when I called 5 days earlier) but they would send a guy right away. At NOON when I called to complain, I was told "so sorry, we don't have any vehicle to rent to you". Instead of my guests getting chauffeured around in an unfamiliar town, they had to rent a vehicle at the airport for $300 more than I would have paid for the SAME VEHICLE. Worst experience. I had a reservation. Reconfirmed it the day of the pick up. They were going to pick me up at the collision center. We confirmed the car, the location, and time. I called from the collision center, ready for pick up. Oh, no, they said. We don't pick up there. I know you confirmed this am. I can see that. But we aren't going to honor that. WTF. I spent the next 90mins calling other locations, being sent to the tech call center, customer service, calling the location back, being told another manager would call me from a new location and they'd pick me up. Nope. Nothing. This location had not called anyone to help set up any arrangements. I was stranded. I finally got ahold of another Enterprise location that took pity and agreed to come get me and find me a car. It was after hours by this point. They were great. The collision center was lovely. But now I was an hour from home in no traffic. And now had to add on traffic. And the frustration of the wasted two hours. Boo. read more

Went in bc of my reservation time today and the car was not ready for over an hour (past my reservation time) so I left. When I picked up the car I had to wait for over an hour along with a number of other people. The employees acted like it was unusual to have to wait. Well, now I'm here dropping off the car and there's people in here waiting for cars and I'm waiting for a ride and the employees are feigning the same fake shock of the "unusual wait". Clearly they are trained to fake what is normal business practice because they all have the same phrases they repeat. They market that "we'll give you a ride", but clearly there's fine print that you will have to wait so long you'll want to pay for your own uber (which they've conveniently suggested multiple times to multiple people here in the lobby and on the phone). read more

From the lame rental car itself, all the way to the rude employee and total ineffective manager. This place is the worst, find somewhere else no matter what you do. I turned my vehicle in an hour before they opened on a Sunday utilizing the drop box. They conveniently waited three hours after opening to check my vehicle in, thus charging me an exorbitant rate, despite being turned in an hour early. Then, when I called to complain, a smart-a@@ employee puts me on hold indefinitely. Complete professional, that guy - NOT. Cory was amazing to work with, we needed a rental after an accident had our primary vehicle in for repairs. Our truck was hit on a Friday afternoon, cue panic as my husband would be gone for work all weekend and would leave me and the kids without a vehicle. They squeezed us in right before closing and got us situated. Our truck took longer to repair, 7 weeks in total, and Cory was so helpful and understanding when we needed to extend the rental coverage etc and working with our insurance which definitely lacked in communication. 1000% would recommend and use again in the future! Pay attention to the one star reviews. To follow up on mine, about a week before I had to take the car in a voicemail was left saying the car had to be recalled but I could still keep it, which I did, but would've been nice if I was able to call them and find out what it was. I then got a flat tire and, you guessed it, no one picked up the phone to advise me what to do. AAA came (can't recommend enough) and fixed the tire and I put old tire in the truck bed. I returned it, and the next day I received a voicemail telling me everything was good. Sunday I get a voicemail telling me to call back (really?) to go over damage to the vehicle (after I was told everything was ok?). No specific damage was mentioned on the voicemail, and then a follow up email from damage recovery unit telling me there's a claim, but not a single thing is mentioned and no damage or money amount is listed. I am deeply disappointed with my recent car rental experience at this Enterprise location. The way they added on the CDW optional protection was unprofessional and left me dissatisfied. I agreed to the protection for the time I paid out of pocket (6 days) until my insurance kicked in to take over the remainder of the agreement (43 days). Although I agreed, and it's on the contract to pay for this optional protection package for six days, this Enterprise location is attempting to charge me for the full 43 days. I emailed the branch manager and called multiple times with no response. Upon contacting the location, I was informed that they could not address the issue and advised me to call customer service. It was only then that I was told I needed to come in once my insurance took over the agreement to have the optional protection removed, despite signing an agreement for 6 days. Why they do not tell you this upfront, notify you, or allow you to opt out once your insurance takes over is a shady sales tactic that takes advantage of customers and is wrong. After taking great care of the car throughout my rental period, this is extremely disappointing, and I hope Enterprise honors its agreement. read more

Just had to dial the location 11 times to get in touch with a representative... after they picked up and HUNG UP the phone 7 times, and transferred me to the reservation line 3 times... they finally answered. Cory told me I owed a rental day on an insurance claim without even knowing my name, or looking up my reservation/reviewing the insurance company's coverage. When he was patient enough to actually ask me my name, it was determined THAT was a lie! No rental day charged to me. Don't speak in absolutes when you have literally zero information about the renter/coverage. Also, the car's horn didn't work and it had 8000 miles on it. Makes me wonder about how they're maintaining their fleet. I never thought I'd say this, but I'll go to Hertz next time. read more

This Enterprise location is wonderful. I recently had a need to rent a car after a collision, and this is the Enterprise location that was suggested by my insurance company. I am very glad to have rented a car from them. When I first visited the location to rent the car, Macy was very helpful in explaining everything I needed to know, and helping me with the whole process. When I returned the car, I had an opportunity to see Macy and her colleague Brandon handle several complicated situations very well while I waited. I was impressed by their knowledge, skill, professionalism, and ability, Thank you to both of them for their help. You really made a difference. Do everything possible to avoid this location, unless you want to have money stolen from you. I've never had a more horrible experience with a business than this one. The staff is so incompetent, it's laughable. It's been over a month since they wrongfully charged me almost $300 and I still haven't gotten it back. They will continue to lie to you and tell you they will call you back but never will. They will gaslight you and never take responsibility. They deserve less than 1 star. -NEVER trust that they will call you back. I have been told that by the local branch and the national centers multiple times and have never been called back. I have never meet such rude people! We went to the location in Georgetown, TX on Nth Austin Ave. I was the first one in the door only to be rudely dismissed when the rep found out it was a personal not Insurance rental. I went outside and looked online for a reservation thru the main website. When I went back in I was again rudely told "the website does not know our availability" and that they were fixing to call and cancel my reservation. I then called the number on the website for another location to check only to be routed to a reservation call center. When tld what I need I was then transferred fron RESERVATIONS to Customer Service. The rep there acted like he was going to help by "calling" another location to check availability. He came back on the phone stating he found 2 rentals available at another location. When i requested one be held that i was on the way there(i was approx, 2 miles away) I was told he could not, but would transfer me to the location. When I spoke to the person at that location, the 2 available suddenly were gone and no one could remember talking to the customer service person. This is the 3rd time I have been treated this way and it will be the last! Dont bother with a reservation as it most likely will not be honor as they treat you like crap! read more

We had a reservation for a rental car, and were told we could pick it up any time after 9 am. We got here around 10, and were told our car is here and just needed to be cleaned. Quoted wait time was 15-20 minutes. It is now 11:15 am, and we are still waiting. There are 4 other people in the waiting room who were told the cars they reserved are not even at this location and their wait could be an hour. In enterprise time though, 1 hour could mean 4 hours. I'm glad we didn't have anywhere we needed to be today. The communication is nonexistent. If someone had called us to say they were running behind, it would be no issue. We totally understand being short staffed, but having customers wait without any communication is unacceptable. When we finally did get the vehicle, they asked questions that should have been asked during the reservation process. Why would you wait until the day of picking up a rental to ask about insurance information, instead of asking and putting it on file when the reservation was made? I have never written a review of a rental car company and I have rented for 25+ years from when I worked at fortune 100 companies to startups. I have to say these guys are the most accommodating of any rental car company I've ever worked with. My car was hit while I was stopped at a stop sign. They were extremely easy to work with. I got the nicest rental car ever. Who gives you an Audi Q5 for a rental car? And then, when I had to travel to Colorado, they easily swapped out this, cool little sporty, small SUV for a larger one for me. I cannot recommend this location enough. Kendal was very conscientious as i had a major delay on a 7:30am car rental. I was given a 2 seater car that did not feel safe for me to drive to Houston. Following my driving back to Enterprise from near the airport I had the assistant manager pick up my call after i requested Kendal and the manager. She put me on hold for 20 minutes and never returned to the call telling me later her line had cut off. Mine didn't? I asked for no charge as we are very consistent customers and I was 2 hours delayed in leaving. We were still charged in the end and no one apologized except for Kendal. Overall we have had good service but be careful with early morning rentals because a long wait is probable. read more

I needed a rental for a few days so I called the main number to request a pick up to rent a car. They took all of my information and hung up without getting the address! I had to call back and repeat everything I had just told them. After getting picked up, it still took 30 minutes to check in and get the car. The car look looked ok but had a few dents and nicks. When I returned the car, they claimed I had hail damage on the roof! I didn't even drive through any hail, but now they expect me to pay for body damage. My car is clean. That's a positive. However, the staffer assigned to help me was terrible. My rental was prearranged through my auto insurance. When I was picked up, we went through a total of three cars before Enterprise was finally able to determine the correct class of vehicle to put me in. (The first two vehicles were clearly beneath the reimbursement range provided by my car insurance.) Next, I was asked which of Enterprise's insurance plans I'd be using for my car. When I said none, I was given a lecture about me being responsible for any damage and then the rep asked for the name of my car insurance carrier and my deductible amount. I've never been subject to such high pressure tactics at an Enterprise location before. Between this and the incorrect cars, the staff at this location seems absolutely intent on providing the least service for the most money they can extract. read more

I rented a car through my insurance. first they gave me a car where I couldn't use the radio it was locked and needs a code. also the car wasn't clean at all. so I had to go back to exchange it. then they called me every week to tell me my insurance wasn't paying. which is a Big lie. So, I'm not sure what to say here. My neighbor backed into me and once again my car was off to the shop.. this time Enterprise was actually there waiting for me with a car, and the girl who helped me (I think her name was Mai?) was pleasant and got me into the car relatively quickly-no complaints. But.. here's the thing. When going over coverage options she told me I could either pay the $15/day or put $1,000 down (yeah.. okay). I'm pretty sure that legally you don't have to get insurance from them and can just use your own, but whatever-don't trust Enterprise so I'll pay the damn daily charge. So, I asked her about the other option I was given last time I came in-to pay a flat fee and if any damage comes to the car I can claim it on my insurance. She tells me that's not an option-which, if its not its not. I asked if that used to be the policy, she said no-they've never done it that way. So here's my question.. what the hell was the first girl talking about? I didn't just make it up, she outright told me that was an option and now I'm being told it's not, and never was. Was I being scammed? What the hell Enterprise? As much as I love Heritage and having the two together is easy, I will likely never use Enterprise again.. they're just too shady. read more

Poor customer service - you have to beg them to bring you the car you are paying to rent! We use this Enterprise branch for work. This week I requested a car to be dropped off at 12:00 pm on Tuesday. I had to drive to Galveston for an evening meeting at. At 12:23, when we called to see where my car was, we were told it was "on the way." I got my car at 12:45, with less than a full tank of gas. I was now running late and had to stop on my way to the meeting to get more gas. I get back the next day, Wednesday, and call them to let them know they can pick up the car. The car was picked up at 3:00 pm on Thursday. Again, we had to call and email them multiple times to come and get the car, and remind them to stop the billing as of Wednesday afternoon. I returned the car with the same amount of gas (3/4 of tank) as it was delivered. I get the receipt and they have charged me to fill up the car. Another phone call, and waiting for the manager to correct my bill. If you can avoid this location, please do so. read more
