    I had a reservation at the Lockport location booked through Priceline yesterday (3/16/2026)…read morereserved for 11am. My ride was late picking me up, so I got there at 12:15 pm The person at the desk, Matt who told me that he was the manager, said that he had no car for me because I was late. I asked why the car wasn't held until they at least called me to check with me to see if I was coming for the car? He said that they hold cars for about 30-45 minutes and that a customer with no reservation walked in at 12:05pm and got my car. He said that it not his job to call me. I asked if I could get one of the other cars on the lot and he said that they were all reserved. I asked what we could do at this point to resolve the problem and he said that there was nothing he could do. I told him that if he was really the manager, he was really bad at his job. I left and went on Priceline as soon as I left and looked up that location for the same day for a 2:00pm pickup and they had cars in every category available. (see the attached picture) Somehow, Matt could not find a car for me, but I was able to walk outside, get on my phone and book a car for that same location. I worked in the retail business as a district manager and regional manager for large companies for almost 40 years. So, you can believe me when I say that if this rude, lazy person is the face of your company, you have a problem.

I asked if they had the same confirmation I had trying to trouble shot they probem, the response was that they had no car. I asked if maybe there was one at another enterprise, they told me to call. The Amherst Enterprise found my reservation for Lockport, honored it, and I was out of their store in less than 10 minutes. So, like the Seinfeld episode, Lockport can take a reservation but they cannot keep a reservation and their customer service rep who answers the phone offer no customer service at all. Go the one further South on Transit in Erie County - its worth the drive.

He told me that he would try to find me one, and asked me to call back the afternoon of the reservation. Well, HE called ME(added bonus) on the day of pick up and told me that he found one for me! I was extremely appreciative and happy as that was all I wanted for my birthday! (Since we can't do much else for now.) There were a few blips in between (MY issues, not Enterprise) and he was super helpful and friendly about it all! Raj, if you see this I appreciate your hard work and kindness!!! Managers refused to take calls, I was forced to repeat myself multiple times, and I still received neither a refund nor receipts for the questionable charge. They also failed to follow the instructions provided by my insurance company regarding the vehicle specifications that should have been given to me after my accident, yet they still charged me for a service I never asked for.

Immediately called to cancel the reservation since i'd been scammed. reservation cancelled without penalty, credit card to be credited in 7 - 10 business days!! it's now 13 business days, still no credit, and my bill is almost due. Called again, passed around, on hold for several minutes. When he came back he told me he would escalate this to prepaidd time w/ processing time of 5-7 days!  requested to speak to a supervisor; he told me i'd have to call back and then hung up on me!

I went on priceline on my phone and this is the place it picked. When I showed up there was a big line and it was taking forever. The computer system was down. The extremely tan woman in neon behind the counter had attitude. She refused to let me use my work credit card because it didn't have MY name on it. I told her that not only was she making me late for my arranged pick up but it was absurd that I'm not allowed to use my work card. She laughed and shot me a nasty look and said that it's absurd that I would expect her to allow me to because for all she knows I stole the credit card. Are you $@#&[!# serious?!?! Not only is that the rudest most unprofessional thing this older lady could say to me, but it was in front of a packed place! When we went out to go over the rental car before giving it to me behind schedule (which made me late for work) I asked if she had all of the scuffs and marks on the car documented beforehand. She shrugged it off and acted offended when I took pictures of them before leaving the lot. This lot is cram packed and tiny with narrow parking spaces and tow trucks just sitting around so its very hard to maneuver around. I was leaving my cadi there and she told me it was too close to the yellow line of the parking space so I had to move it... Once again, are you serious?!?! I backed my cadi up and pulled it back in an inch over because there was no more room or else I'd be too close to the other line. The car I got had hair in it, crumbs on the seat, and bleach stains on the seat. The stearing was loose and and hit bumps like I was riding in the back of a pick up truck going down a dirt road. She was .00009% more pleasant when I returned it.

A couple of months ago, I rented a car while my truck was in the shop. What I got was a complete joke. The car smelled like straight-up weed, no cleaning, no care, just handed off like that's acceptable. It had maybe 20 miles to empty, was missing a rim, and somehow they still had the nerve to charge premium prices for it. Charging top dollar for bottom-tier quality is wild. Then I gave them another chance, big mistake. Rented a car for my daughter, and the tire keeps losing air. Their solution? "Take it to Mavis." Seriously? I'm paying you, not signing up to run errands and fix your rental fleet. That's not just inconvenient, it's lazy customer service. And it gets better, their backup plan was to tell me to call back in a couple of hours to see if anyone had returned a car. So now I'm expected to sit around and hope something becomes available? Unreal. What makes it worse is that there aren't many alternatives in Niagara Falls, so customers are basically stuck dealing with this nonsense. If there were better options, I'd be gone immediately. And unfortunately, the Niagara Falls local store, Dollar General, isn't renting out cars. At this point, it's clear they don't respect their customers' time, money, or basic expectations. Overpriced, poorly maintained vehicles, and zero accountability. I'll be warning everyone I know about this location.

One time we rented a car for the wrong day and showed up a day later... he said it was no problem and got us on the road with another car ten minutes later and no weird fee for missing our other one. I'll definitely keep coming back.
