Loaded and left town. Now the AC does not work...we hit 88 degrees on the way back...that nice and BTW torrential rain so the 1st car would have had 2 problems. Ok add these 2 things to that...1) when I picked up the car I actually rented, I got no walk through the car, no check of anything and it had a huge scrape on one of the wheel arches...went back and was told oh yeah we noted that. The gas tank was 7/8 full (digital gauge) and they marked it full. By the time I left it was 11am instead of 9:30. Asked them to change time on rental to 11...they refused. 2) just called customer service and was told all they can do is $50 credit toward future rental...GTFO- insulting for such problems. Asked to speak to supervisor was told there are none available. Here we are. Your experience may vary but this got to be the worst rental for me in 30+ years

First the location at the Buffalo Airport is not on the same floor as the other agencies. No worry it's a floor below. Regardless it's super conveniently located across the street from baggage claim. The rep was super nice and friendly. Asked about our flight and demonstrated an interest in helping us get on our way. The hick up was a not having the type of car that I reserved - we wanted a luxury sedan but she offered a small lux SUV. The contracting was super quick and we were off to our adventure within a few minutes. Way to go National thank you.

I asked a simple question about overcharges on my bill, and instead of acting like a professional, he immediately spoke down to me like I was stupid and then started raising his voice. Zero respect, zero customer service skills. When I asked for his name so I could report the situation, he refused and said, "Good luck reporting me, I am the boss." That level of arrogance alone tells you exactly how things are run here. What made it even worse is that I actually saw him having a similar issue with another customer when I first picked up the rental. So this clearly isn't a one-time bad moment -- this is just how he treats people. Then as I was leaving the parking lot, he literally yelled after me that he was going to charge me extra fees and smiled about it like it was funny. Completely unprofessional, aggressive, and honestly pretty disturbing behavior coming from someone representing a business. If management acts like this when customers ask legitimate questions about charges, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. There are plenty of businesses out there that don't treat people this way.

I said yes I have my own. Then he gave me a bill for $600. I asked what that was because I had already paid priceline. he said this is the BASIC car insurance. I had him remove that. Then he tried to charge me $240 in taxes for a rental that was $70. I could not get the car if I did not sign even though I knew he was scamming me. I had to pay the money & call priceline the next day to get the charges removed. Beware of these shady tactics.

Picking up the vehicle this weekend was very pleasant and they even allowed me to choose from several available vehicles. For a Premium Crossover, they originally offered a Chevy Traverse or VW Atlas. I wasn't that thrilled with either of those, and after some more discussion, they offered me a new 2026 Nissan Pathfinder with only 500 miles on it. I was then quickly on my way down one garage level with the keys. The vehicle was very clean and ran well. I did notice the fuel level needle was just under the Full line, but just let it go. Upon dropping off the vehicle a couple days later back at the airport, because I was dropping it off 35 minutes late, the agent said a tttal charge of 30 extra dollars than what I was originally quoted. However, the Alamo agent at the pickup desk a couple days earlier said I would have one hour more to drop it off. The Dropoff agent named Zee was super friendly and explained it was the "system" automatically charging for the late delivery and easily reversed the charge. He also asked if they could do anything better and I mentioned how the gas tank wasn't 100% full upon pickup, and he offered a $20 credit. All in all, despite a couple minor issues, these guys quickly addressed them and presented good solutions. I will definitely be back to rent from them again.

We waited over 2 hours for our car, part of the wait was because they had to clean the car. That's not the NIGHTMARE. My rental agreement charges were $406.47. July 8 not only did Enterprise send me a different rental agreement with charges of $1,166.04 they charged my credit card. They also changed my statement, showing I rented a 7 Pasenger van and returning it on June 29th in Glen Ellen, Il. I was in FL on the 29th. July 10, called and spoke with Jack at that location he agreed there was a mistake and I received a credit of $759.57 on my CC. 2 days later Enterprise charge my CC FOR 759.57. I received another agreement sayin I rented a Chrysler Pacifica. July 17, I called again and spoke with Robert. He couldn't figure out why and said he would credit me. The next day there is a charge from Enterprise for $6.85, no credit. July 18,called back and spoke to Wade and he told me it's not them, my bank made that charge and I would have to take it up with my bank. My bank laughed when I told them and assured me the charges are from Enterprise. Picture is the car I rented. I'm still out $759.57 and today is 7/18 and still not resolved. Now I have to go through the headache of filing a dispute with my CC Company. Don't go through what I have to, find another rental car company. These guys are crooks.
