First the location at the Buffalo Airport is not on the same floor as the other agencies. No worry it's a floor below. Regardless it's super conveniently located across the street from baggage claim. The rep was super nice and friendly. Asked about our flight and demonstrated an interest in helping us get on our way. The hick up was a not having the type of car that I reserved - we wanted a luxury sedan but she offered a small lux SUV. The contracting was super quick and we were off to our adventure within a few minutes. Way to go National thank you.

I expected to receive a request for review or survey later in the day, but nothing from AAA except the computerized "thank you." So this review is by way of saying "Thanks again" to David. He meticulously, and successfully, found the cause of the leak: a nail so tiny I imagine it was used in making doll house furniture. Then he said he could put the spare on or he could do a repair. Placing the spare, covered; repair, $38. So I called my daughter (her car) to see which she wanted. She'd already made an appointment to bring the car into the shop on Monday, so she was happy to know repair was an option. Saving a weekend of running to an air pump at least once a day, and parts and labor on Monday at the shop (which would most likely do a repair, anyway), we had David do the repair. He did an excellent job, of course. Was always polite and professional --except to the many yellow jackets flitting about the area. In sum, David did a great job, saved my daughter time and money, represented WNY AAA perfectly. Oh, and I had only about a 40-minute wait for the truck to show up. Great job, AAA!

Have taken the train many, many time to NYC & and to visits relatives after they moved to the Utica…read morearea. So much more relaxing than driving and really reasonable. There is always a cafe car and real perk is they serve Starbucks coffee. It's now all cashless. Have also taken the late train out of NYC that has a dining car. You are served with China, sterling silver flatware and coffee pot and white table linens. Have recently taken the train out of the downtown station. The train left after 4am and we were in NYC between noon and 1pm. It was the perfect option for our transatlantic cruise that was departing at 7pm. The cruise port is only 2 miles away but with Manhattan traffic it was 20-25 minutes. For most of the ride I was able to have my own seat so was able to nap. Once we got to Poughkeepsie every seat was filled. When we arrived in NYC there were a good number of conductors to easily guide you in the right directions.

All travelers nearby were in agreement that the gate team were completely rude and voice and body language were unacceptable. But if you…read morewanna get into Buffalo from Clarence/Wiliamsvile/Depew/North Cheektowaga/East Amherst, then you might want to use the Ken-sing-ton-aight? I absolutely love this road. Now that the 198 has horrifically been reduced to 30 miles an hour this is the last way to get through the heart of North and East Buffalo without being stuck in gridlock. It usually moves quite well (like your ma) and is built below the surface of the city so that it doesn't contribute too much in terms of an eyesore or noise. Definitely the most vital road in the City of Buffalo. And considering I use it as much as I do and rarely end up stuck in traffic here it would be a bit hypocritical of me to give it a low rating. As an added bonus, the cops don't usually pull you over on this road. So a lot of people go well above the speed limit of 50 and do closer to 70. AKA "the 33" which is what locals usually call it, this 2-lane-racecourse begins right in front of Buffalo Niagara International Scareport, and winds its way like a twerking Asp (there was a P on the end, ok?) through Cheek to walk out, into some famous and run-down neighbourhoods of East and North Buffalo, and eventually spits you out in the very heart of downtown. It becomes three lanes after it crosses the famous I-90 (which by the way goes from Seattle all the way to Boston, now how cool is that). The best part of this road is that it will whisk you to parts of Buffalo you may never otherwise visit, and drop you off right in any neighborhood you like. Without the 33, Buffalo would be very hard to circumnavigate. Once you enter the Buffalo section of this road, the speed limit is rarely adhered to. But in the Cheektowaga section, do not speed. The cops are regularly in those parts. Have fun on the 33. But don't do 33 on the 33. You'll get beeped at. Not by me. Unless it's snowing. Then 33 (or less) is probably a good idea.
