Enterprise has been nothing but a headache every single time I've dealt with them, and at this point, it feels like they don't even try. A couple of months ago, I rented a car while my truck was in the shop. What I got was a complete joke. The car smelled like straight-up weed, no cleaning, no care, just handed off like that's acceptable. It had maybe 20 miles to empty, was missing a rim, and somehow they still had the nerve to charge premium prices for it. Charging top dollar for bottom-tier quality is wild. Then I gave them another chance, big mistake. Rented a car for my daughter, and the tire keeps losing air. Their solution? "Take it to Mavis." Seriously? I'm paying you, not signing up to run errands and fix your rental fleet. That's not just inconvenient, it's lazy customer service. And it gets better, their backup plan was to tell me to call back in a couple of hours to see if anyone had returned a car. So now I'm expected to sit around and hope something becomes available? Unreal. What makes it worse is that there aren't many alternatives in Niagara Falls, so customers are basically stuck dealing with this nonsense. If there were better options, I'd be gone immediately. And unfortunately, the Niagara Falls local store, Dollar General, isn't renting out cars. At this point, it's clear they don't respect their customers' time, money, or basic expectations. Overpriced, poorly maintained vehicles, and zero accountability. It's been so easy to rent from here. Great location and I've had nothing but a great experience with staff. One time we rented a car for the wrong day and showed up a day later... he said it was no problem and got us on the road with another car ten minutes later and no weird fee for missing our other one. I'll definitely keep coming back. read more

Received a 140$ citation while driving my rental, apparently the ticket was in NYC. I do not live in nyc and did not drive to nyc. I contacted enterprise multiple times telling them this was a mistake, they were unresponsive and unhelpful throughout this whole thing. And clearly it was a mistake made by enterprise to charge me with the ticket when I wasn't even driving the car when the ticket happened. My advice is go to any other rental car place read more

The economy car they offer are only electric vehicle. No chargers close by. Good luck in finding one. Poor customer service. You have to pay extra for gas vehicle. I wanted a gas but they said I will pay extra for gas and the only one they have is a pick up. Do t use them. I won't again read more

Unfortunately the low point of an otherwise lovely trip. I was delayed arriving to the airport, so when I got there a couple hours after my reservation start time I was surprised to find that the airport branch had closed down. I had received no communication about this. When I called the support number, they claimed to have called me the day before to inform me, but I did not have any missed calls or messages, only an email reminding me to pick it up at the airport. It was only with great reluctance they agreed to send someone to pick us up instead of having me pay for a cab. Martha who picked us up was a delight, the most kind and considerate person we met at that branch-please promote her as she was the only one with customer relation skills. Upon arriving at the location I was told my car had been given away, but they would reluctantly let me use one of their other of dozens of cars sitting around. Unfortunately the car they wanted to give me was NOT at this location, so we waited over an hour for someone to drive to get it, come back, and quickly rinse it off. The car was clean, but not in the best of shape: the floor carpets were worn through, the seats had holes in them, and what looked like white paint splattered on the passenger seat. The inside also reeked of smoke, that someone only got stronger as we drove. We should have turned around, but were already so behind we did not want to waste more time. We quickly had to stop though because I noticed the car was given to us with less than a quarter tank of gas, which further delayed our trip. The icing on the cake was when they had to gall to charge me for gas after I returned it with 1/4 more tank than I was given, and they only offered to refund half the gas charge! My last time renting from Enterprise-I hope to save you the same trouble and prevent a ruined family vacation. read more

They wouldn't send a car to pick me up. Then I reached here one hour past my pick up time and my rental car is not here yet. They gave me a discount and apologized for it. I will rent again. read more

Understaffed and inefficiency is rampant. One woman working the phones and complaints. We visited due to a faulty car with bad brakes because they gave us a malfunctioning one at the airport. She keeps telling us they have no cars and no solutions..stuck. Lack of customer service is embarrassing. Apparently enterprise offices don't work together and they could not care less how long we waited or that we have to drive on malfunctioning brakes. read more

Rented a 12 passenger van and a minivan for a trip. Showed up two hours past my reservation time, which was set two months in advance, the 12 passenger van was not there and the minivan had a screw in the tire. Waited an hour for the 12 passenger van and an hour into our trip I realized The vehicles registration was expired. That morning I also realized the key fobs battery was dead, thank god no one broke into it. They were able to substitute the minivan for an SUV. This is the third time I've rented a car from the location and each time there has been an issue with the car or a lengthy wait. They have not been apologetic about their service. I'm not asking a lot but if my car is not there or is not ready, give me one that is regardless if it's an upgrade. read more

Fantastic office. I had trouble with my rental and I went to the nearby Enterprise. I was in and out in 10 minutes. The substitute rental had too many miles and the Niagara NY office changed it out. I just wish they would've told me the drop off charge when I originally booked. read more

I placed a reservation online and received a confirmation. I was planning on going out of town and was having car troubles and wanted to rent a car for the trip. I wanted to use my corporate discount. I received confirmation indicating the car would be ready at 430. I arrived at the store and was told they didn't have any cars available due to a busy upcoming weekend and could not honor my reservation. The representative was extremely rude and short. I asked him to contact some of the other stores and he said he already had and basically I was out of luck. He didn't even try to accommodate me. The representative did not show a bit of empathy and I agree with someone's previous review a lack of customer service. Keep in mind I called a couple of stores when I got home and there were cars available but I did not have enough time to make it there before the store closed. The folks at Enterprise are great! They are extremely helpful and professional and do everything they can to make sure I'm a satisfied customer. It is very helpful to have them pick me up and drop me off when renting a car. The cars are always in great shape and well maintained. I only go to Enterprise when I need to rent a car! read more
