Fantastic experience, one of the best meals we had in Rome. First, you cannot beat the house wine, which is only 10 euro for a giant pitcher. And it only goes up from here... Each pasta we got was incredible. I especially loved the seafood pasta, but you really cannot go wrong with what you get here. Fantastic food. For dessert I became obsessed with the Torta della Nonna - a pine nut pastry that's filled with a little bit of cream. If I have to be critical, which I hate to be since Enoteca Corsi is fantastic, we did not care for the Panna Cotta. It had way too much syrup on top. But overall, a very memorable experience. Nice place for a good meal. We just took a chance and walked in without any prior knowledge of the place, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious. I was so excited about having my favorite Italian soup, Pasta Fagioli, that I didn't pay much attention to any other dish! However, we both left fully satisfied! read more

It was awful. With all the great restaurants in this city we got stuck with this dog. We went here on a promotion with a small local piano concert - this was the dinner that came with the concert. Perhaps the people who ran the concert kept most of the money and did not give the restaurant their fair share. But whatever the story, the food was meager and not nearly up to the standard of most restaurants in Rome that we experienced. Try another place. read more

Make dinner reservation before you show up. Super crowded. Fried artichoke is amazing. Seafood bake is better than New England. Shrimp pasta is perfect. Gnocchi is chewy. Beef with black truffles is out of this world. Meatballs are delicious. Desserts are exceptional at €5 each. Wine are delicious. Expect to pay €120 for a table of 4. I was introduced to Enoteca Corsi by an American expat blogger; her description of this simple homely restaurant as an unspoilt refuge of hearty meals for the working class is absolutely spot on. This establishment makes no attempt at upper class pretence and does it wholly unapologetically. When in Rome, do as the Romans do, right? Thus was I talked into the baccalà - a fried fish dish that I can only describe with the word 'sustaining'. I wasn't about to miss out on an opportunity to wolf down as much chicoria as I could lay my cutlery upon during this trip, and Enoteca Corsi's didn't disappoint. Considering its humble paper tableclothed ambiance and familial service, one would expect more modest prices, but I suppose when you're this well-established as a local name and have ceaseless custom (as indicated by the popularity of its weekday lunch meal), you can afford to charge €2-3 per dish more than expected. read more

The spaghetti alla carbonara was off-the-menu, but we ordered it and it was the best pasta that I had on my Rome trip. Great meal! This place caught my eye since it was packed with locals when we walked in. they were out of a few dishes from the daily menu but we helped ourselves to a delicious appetizer of meatballs and polenta then a lamb dish. Skip the grilled cheese sandwich. It was meh. The service was friendly and the bathrooms are clean! Great for a quick low key lunch. read more

They're mostly open for lunch and dinner only on Thursdays and Fridays. This was one of the best meals in Italy although the service left a lot to be desired - although that is all of Italy. Starting with the potatoes with truffles which was fantastic. Looks like a scoop of mashed potatoes until you stick your fork in and unleash the cheese. Seafood pasta was fantastic - the sauce was delicious and creamy rather than just buttery. Hubby had lamb which was pretty good l, but his came with a sizable chunk of liver (I don't know if that was all intentional). More liver than meat. House wine was okay here, but they have so many bottled wines to choose from! read more

The old waiter was so sweet, didn't speak a thing of English but gathered the yummies for us at the late hour of their lunch shift. Came with a group for lunch and we greeted and seated promptly. Medium sized space able to accommodate a party of 6 easily. Service was quick and impersonal. Pros: seated immediately Food came out FAST Cons: Fast food Italian Food was OK but definitely not on the level of other restaurants I have visited in Rome. My friend and I stopped by as we were exploring the city. We were intrigued by all the drink options. One of the employees greeted us and although the business didn't offer wine tasting, they worked something out for us. The were really accommodating and friendly. This is a family owned business and an older man, who appeared to be the owners father, came and greeted us. I highly recommend stopping by for a drink after exploring what the city has to offer. read more

Just walked by one afternoon and noticed it was packed with locals. Stopped back the very next day. Ended up having lunch here twice in an 8-day stay in Roma. Really the most authentic unpretentious place we ate in the whole week. A family run business - wait staff very attentive - to the locals and Americans equally. Prices very reasonable - good homestyle food - a new menu every day - when an item sells out for the day - that's it. Were disappointed our first day that the artichoke lasagna was sold out (we were there after 2pm) - but we were very happy with what we ordered instead. One day had a house white wine - very nice. The second day bought a bottle of Dolcetto in the store (it's Enoteca Corsi - after all) - and enjoyed it with our meal. A great find - highly recommended. read more

We tried Enoteca Corsi and really enjoyed it. It was a small, no frill restaurant that serves delicious food. My husband had their gnocci and I had their meatball and potato dishes for lunch. Both dishes were really good, but my absolute favorite was the creme brulee. Follow it with an espresso, a great ending to a wonderful meal. read more
