The worst thing about Bulzoni is we took over a year to discover it. Unassuming and tucked into a corner of Parioli that hides its identity, it's the best thing in Parioli by far. In two and a half years, we never had a bad experience. I traveled the entire country in search of the best spaghetti vongola only to find it a few hundred meters from our apartment.
I'll leave and just say this, it's a locals place that hides in plain sight. Michele waited on us for those years and we'll always be grateful to him and the owners for their hospitality. If you are in Rome, and you want to get away from the tourists and experience what life is like for well to do Romani in posh Parioli, treat yourself to an Uber ride up the hill and enjoy a quiet cozy evening in a place you won't forget.
