I came here because my favorite brow wax girl started working here, Van. She is amazing. It took me a while to find her once I moved out here but she was worth it. She is super sweet and does a perfect job every time. The staff here are nice and everyone stays pretty busy. I was hoping for an injectable for my nasal folds and fine lines around the mouth. It was my first time there. I live fairly close and I know it's been there for several years. I looked at the reviews and the complaints were mostly about the front desk staff. No problems there for me. It was the woman that treated me. I asked about her experience and she had all the right answers. $1800 dollars later I left with what I thought was a follow up appointment in three months. Within a few weeks I cas contacted by Enlighten that the woman that had treated me was asked to leave and I would be seeing another person for my next appointment. I called and asked why she was asked to leave and they started to back track. Bottom line I canceled the next appointment and sorry to say the treatment I was given did nothing. I guess I could have tried to get my money back but I was told with those types of places there are no guarantees. read more

I've been putting off this review for a bit. My sister has been going here for awhile and referred me while i was in town. My laser technician was wonderful and this review is not about her. However, i was less than impressed with the front desk girls here, mainly Mercedes. Her attitude was quite off putting and she was on her phone texting in the middle of me trying to ask her some questions. Her loud gum smacking was flat out distasteful. Not to mention, who i assume was the manager, tall blonde lady, was at the front and absolutely REEKED of cigarettes. It smelled like a casino in there. Terrible customer service. I received a gift voucher for a facial by Tiffany. I had to call on 3 different occasions just to schedule my appointment. At one point, I called on my lunch break at work. The receptionist told me she would have to call me back because she was too busy to schedule an appointment. I told her I needed her to call me back ASAP or else I wouldn't be able to answer. An hour later, she still hadn't called. So I called her again. Again, she insisted that she was too busy to help me and would call me back later. She never did. After finally scheduling my facial, I arrive at the office and get my paperwork. The receptionist says she needs to make a copy of my ID. No biggie. But when I come to turn in my paperwork, it's laying on the counter, face up for anyone who walks by to see. I know this because I had to wait at the counter while 5 different ladies were on their cellphones, and didn't even realize I had walked up. Then comes the actual facial.... let's just say it was a very medical experience and not at all relaxing. Tiffany simply walked me back to a room, tossed a stained wrap on the table and walked out without saying a word. I'm kicking myself for not getting a picture. During the extraction process, Tiffany claimed I had acne under my eyes and proceeded to "extract" an imperfection I've had my entire life. Obviously it did nothing but leave me with a bloody mark under my eye. I've had facials with extraction before, but having someone stab at the sensitive skin underneath my eyes was the most painful experience I've ever had. The skincare part of the facial was fine. Nothing special. I have no idea what Tiffany even did, because she never said anything. Overall is was a very "medical" experience and not relaxing in the slightest. I've had much better 90 minutes facials that cost half the price. I will not be returning. read more

I had a photo facial for rosácea a few months ago at age 47, and the results were fab. So, I followed up with a skin tightening procedure (Ultherapy) and a light touch of fillers (voluma, vollbella, and juvederm). I'm pretty sure I look at least 7-10 years younger, and the fillers are so subtle that my family can't even tell I've had anything done (and I mean that in a good way). Seriously, IMO I look like a better rested and younger version of ME, but in NO WAY do I resemble a 'Real Housewife'/'more is more' caricature of myself. Kari and her staff are beyond great, and I could not be more pleased with the results. Really, it feels amazing to be proud of my looks again. I went for a consultation but decided not to get any services. I did not want a non doctor doing my facial injection treatments, especially that the supervising doctor is not trained in an aesthetic field at all. If there would be a complication, they are not adequately skilled to address the problems and that is not worth the risk for an elective treatment. read more

I had my facial veins/capillaries removed via laser today by Jenny Cavazos and she did an AMAZING job. I have had multiple laser treatments done, each with different intensities/ pain levels. You really don't know how much a new laser will hurt until it hits you, and she did the BEST job at preparing and explaining things. I had an amazing experience getting a salt facial with Darla! She was really knowledgeable and so friendly. Yes the service is expensive but it was basically more of a medical treatment than a regular facial. They use quality products so, you get what you pay for. I will definitely come back for another treatment. I also appreciated how genuine Darla was. She recommended an exfoliant for my clogged pores without giving me the typical upselling sales pitch you normally deal with at a salon. A really great experience overall! read more

I've had the best experience at EnlightenMD with laser hair removal, facials, a chemical peel for melasma, microneedling, and eyebrow tinting/waxing and eyelash tinting. The whole team is professional and kind. I was especially nervous about some of the more invasive facial treatments but they give you excellent numbing cream and are very transparent and supportive as you're going through it. Some of the procedures are definitely not painless but they're well worth it! Laser hair removal alone has changed my life. I had my first appointment for laser hair removal at Enlighten today. Enlighten was recommended to me by a friend, after I'd had a not-so-great consult at Ideal Image. Today, I was pretty nervous going into it, as I had no idea what to expect from a pain standpoint, and I was feeling pretty awkward. Let me tell you those feelings went away FAST. :) Kari was awesome and made me feel so comfortable before and during the treatment! I left there feeling so happy I went there and not somewhere else. Also, the total I paid for 3 areas of treatment was less than half the price Ideal Image had quoted me for ONE area. Had a disappointing and frustrating experience. They're booked out pretty far in advance so when I called to schedule a consult, it was about a 4-5 week wait. That was fine but then about two weeks before I received a call that my appointment needed to be rescheduled and pushed back a week or two. No biggie. What upset me was arriving on time for my appointment and then sitting in the waiting room for 20 minutes. When I asked the women in reception if they knew when I was going to go back, I was told they didn't know because they worked for a different doctor. They were nice enough to send a message back but still no admin appeared to give me an update. 30 minutes after my scheduled consult I walked out the door. I wasn't able to talk to anyone there about it because the admin was still gone. I called to express my disappointment and get my deposit back and later got a call from Carrie who explained that she had gotten behind with two previous clients. She asked me to come back and she would see me right away but by then I was done. I'd already lost money by taking time off from work, I couldn't really afford to waste any more time with an office that doesn't bother to communicate with new clients, are overbooked and can't manage their time well. For the prices they charge, I would expect commensurate customer service and better communication from the staff. Not recommended!! read more

Enlighten is as good as it gets! I am blown away by the experience, the people, the customer service, the products, and the expansive menu of services that are offered. Car washes are offered by the valet and the staff is skilled and professional. The facial products are top of the line and the consultations are customized and invaluable so you know exactly which products are best for your skin type and age group. I find that there are so many products out there that it's hard to filter. The staff at Enlighten is constantly testing products to make sure they are offering the best and most effective lines. The staff at Enlighten will overwhelm you with charm and flattery.....and as long as you stick with run of the mill services...providing they aren't pressed for time...you will likely be ok. Its only if you happen to have a reason arise that prompts you to go to another provider....which happens to do the same services only far more accurately and with far better results will you ever know better. Heaven forbid that they should happen to make a mistake on your face...for should you call question to their obvious error...all of the niceness from before turns on you. I had injections placed in my cheeks which were so off I could not leave the house.
