After 1 month I had broken out in a rash, turns out it was steroid overuse and I now had to treat periodontal dermitis. The most frustrating part was the "doctor" Jamil I was seeing (I put that in quotes because what professional would prescribe a medication without any warnings or so loosely) tried to blame it on toothpaste or the weather change. She is very condescending and doesn't have the personality to care for people. To be honest I do think the practice has gone downhill since employing different physicians to see clients; I'm guessing this is done to account for traffic. However I do believe there needs to be a better screening of those hired and more procedures of how to used something prescribed vs just pushing out $60 Blackburn mixtures to make a buck (and surprise, there's no mention to patients that the mixture needs to be off cycled every three months--so again I was ruining my skin barrier with that as well) Do. Very professional, personable, friendly and spent plenty of time discussing my concerns. Then she was very thorough about my options, recovery, processes, and follow-ups. Luckily, I did not have anything serious and the little bumps on my face were easy to rid. She did a quick procedure in office and gave me samples of what I would need over the next few days (Aquafor and face cleanser). She told me exactly what to expect and when to reach out to her in the future if needed. Also, as a reference point, or coincidence, everyone in her office / staff had impeccable skin. It has been almost two weeks since I visited and I have had no issues. I am very pleased with the results, and are hopeful they will remain permanent. Thankfully, Wellworx in Frisco suggested calling their office in Carrollton and they immediately took me in. I'm truly thankful for Sandy's thorough examinations as well as her detailed explanations. She was sincere and courteous, and made me comfortable during the entire screening.
