I contacted them because a couple of tin cans containing tea were banged up and damaged because of their poor shipping and handling practice. I found just only two small air pillows which were flatten during the shipment in more than big enough shipping box for four tins. I contacted them to ask for just replacement empty tins and I got a reply from them saying "If the tea inside is not damaged and the bags are intact, then the product is still ok to consume. As these products are on Clearance Sale, as long as the products itself has not been damaged, there is typically no need for an exchange or refund since it is still useable." But I expected undamaged merchandise inside and out because they charged me extra for the tins after all. read more

A Coffee Catastrophe: Why I'm Saying Goodbye to Enjoy Better Coffee. Picture this: You're eagerly awaiting your morning coffee delivery, only to receive someone else's order that costs nearly double yours. No big deal, right? That's what I thought when I called customer service. They sent a return label and promised to ship the correct order. Here's where it gets interesting - I mentioned being completely out of coffee (hint hint, maybe expedite shipping?), but that fell on deaf ears. Days ticked by. No coffee. Another call revealed the culprit: a snowstorm delaying USPS shipments. Now, I get it. Mother Nature doesn't take orders from anyone. But as a loyal customer, I expected... something. A small discount? A gesture of goodwill? Instead, I got radio silence and shoulder shrugs. What's most disappointing isn't the shipping delay or even the initial mix-up - it's the company's complete lack of effort to make things right. In an age where customer service can make or break a business, this company seems stuck in the stone age.The verdict? I'm taking my business to Amazon, where they understand that keeping customers happy isn't just good service - it's good business. Sometimes the best goodbye is a final farewell order. read more

My only source for Better Coffee. I used to order Douwe Egbert Mocca from Ama***, but decided the price was too high. I looked around, found EBC and have been ordering from them from the last several years. I don't even buy coffee from a supermarket anymore. Shipping is fast, products are fresh, selection is great. They have specials on coffee packages are getting close to or past expiration. I buy these too as the coffee is still quite good after expiration (not too long after of course), mostly because the price is discounted deeply, really deeply. I've tried nearly every brand they carry just to sample the different tastes across Europe. They all seem to like it a bit different. EBC is better. Oh, and customer service is great and I've only needed to call them once in 6 years. read more

If I could give this company a minus I would. Thier shipping policy from East to West is ridiculous. Its been more than 15days and I still have not received my product. be very aware.. I give a star for relatively fast shipping that is on the expensive side unfortunately. I ordered a couple of German coffee brands that I know. All are on the expensive side as well but some on sale and a promo code helped. When they arrived I noticed that 2 of them are pretty much at expiration date so I complained. Was told the expiration date was clearly displayed on the website. Sent screenshots from he website and no expiration date displayed when adding the product to the cart or when checking out. They just replied that you actually have to click on the item in order to see the expiration date. No apology or offer to correct the issue. Would not order from them again... read more

Have been drinking Douwe Egberts since moving back from The Netherlands in 2003. Amazon prices finally rose enough to have me seek another supplier. I ordered from Enjoy Better Coffee, taking a bit of a risk by purchasing enough to get free shipping. I read the description and the best buy date was March, 2021. Coffee arrived today, two days earlier than shipping tracking had indicated. All packages perfectly sealed. AND expiration date on all of them was July 2021. Haven't opened them yet to try but they look like the standard stuff. Very pleased so far. read more

Fast shipping and delivery of Great Product at an incredible price. Will for sure use them in the future.

I have been buying coffee from Enjoy Better Coffee for at least five years. I also referred my friends who became happy customers after they received their orders from Enjoy better Coffee. I am very happy to have found this company: their coffee is very good, they have great choices and very useful descriptions of every product. I also appreciate their customer service. One can order on line, talk to a person, who will manually order of the customer. They always return phone calls and respond to e-mailes. Recently I placed an order, but then realized that I would travel. I didn't want my order to be dropped at the door. I called the company and asked if they could mail the order earlier. The answer was YES. To make a long story short, I got my order in two days delivered by American Express without any questions asked . The company informed me about the transit of the order and today informed that the order was delivered. Enjoy Better Coffee offers excellent products and Excellent plus customer service. read more

I was loyal customer for many years, and this year they decide increase a price for some German coffee by 40% or more, but price in Germany still the same. Greedy company. If any body from this company will red this review ; remember Greed is the wrong motivation for success. read more

his is a followup of my review about 3 years ago. The customer service is still excellent and since that time I've ordered other coffees, like Jacobs from Germany, Lavazza from Italy, Hausbrandt from Italy, Davidoff from Germany, and Maison from France.... all are excellent brands and great coffees .... and makes my morning hours much nicer to sip my coffee while watching the sunrise up in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains. Their hot chocolate is excellent too and I believe it is from Italy as well. Great service, great prices (fee shipping for orders over $75), and great coffees. And I don't even have to go to the store. We've been a customer for about 10 years now. read more

EBC has been our go to company for Swedish coffee. We enjoy Arvid Nordquist's mellanrost. Best price and quickest shipping on internet! This company sell European coffee. The expiration dates are in Euro format. DD/MM/YY. Therefore 03/12/22 equals DECEMBER 3 2022. NOT MM/DD/YY MAR 12 2022 US format, as some poor reviews seem to have pointed out. read more

You could buy many European brands that are very difficult to get hold of elsewhere . They explain very well how strong the coffee is and how it is like as well plus giving the date of expiration date with description on their website . There would be no surprise if you read the coffee or tea description well before ordering .Their prices are good -Either the same as others and lots of time cheaper. The shipping time and packaging is good. Finally , they have a very good customer service. I am happy that I found a place that I could try different coffee brands. read more

I had terrible experience to order from this company! First of all I had a trouble with delivery more then 10 days . They sent me fake coffee (it was not arabica at all !!!!) NEVER ORDER FROM THEM! You better find other company to order coffee! read more

I bought significant amount of kimbo coffee from them that I'm drinking over 10 years starting from Italy, the county manufacturer. When their coffee arrived it was over roasted and impossible to drink. They denied to accept the return on their own expense for the fake coffee and also for one pack that was opened for trying. So I paid $45 for return shipment and one pack of disgusting coffee. Very negative experience read more

First time buyers beware until you get it: ordered four products, one of which was a special promotion. Upon receipt, I called EBC because the expiration date was within a month. I did not realize I was buying old product. Had I know, I certainly would have spent the additional $4 to buy ground coffee with a 2021 expiration date on it. EBC declined to make anything right for me - so buyer beware! read more

Last order: charged, never shipped. When I emailed them, they replied "we tried calling you", apparently some items sold out, and I was now below free shipping. If I didn't email them, I'd never know that they were not going to ship my order. Negligent company, dishonest in my opinion as they changed me for full order knowing items were out of stock. Previous order had lousy weak old coffee, I blamed myself on my choice, but now I wonder if that's what they sell. Do not recommend them. Waiting for my refund. Zero stars for customer service, zero integrity. read more

I placed "just to try" order for few packs of coffe a few month back. Paid $10.00 delivery charge on small order. Evrerything came how promised : greate Tchibo coffe made in Germany. So then I placed a real order$$$ , paid delivery again, and... The story started. What I have received is NOT the same German coffe, it is something made in Poland, not even wacumed well, very cheap make, and looks as a fake. I called the company , and was told that I am welcome to send the product back the cost of shipping on me, and if I want them to send me the new ones, I have to pay the $10 shipping again. By the end of the day I am $40 dollars lost for the Better coffe cheating . It's just a SCAM. I called my credit card company, and declined the charge. read more

They say that the mark of a great company is when there is a problem of any kind with a sale that the company does everything in their power to cure the problem. We had such a problem with Enjoy Better Coffee. I contacted them by email telling them of my problem. This led to a telephone call and the best customer service that Ive experienced in many years. I have bought numerous bags of coffee from them and will continue to do so. I highly reccomend them. read more

Love the selection. Lots Nespresso brands I saw in Germany but could not get in the USA.

A long overdue review for a lovely niche company providing exactly what I want (delicious Dallmayr and Jacobs Kaffee -- but they do carry other brands ;^), exactly when I wanted it (as soon as possible!), at a great deal (signing up for their e-mail sale alerts guaranteed me a front seat to their brand-specific and general sales, also brand-new customers can save even a little more on their first order...and they always offer case deals, if you are looking to really stock up). My orders arrived early, with special directions followed, and so carefully packed that it looks like my parents have been in their shipping house... The Fraus will rejoice the next time they are over, and they, too can enjoy the pampering and exclusive flavour of Dallmayr Prodomo... caffeinated bliss, thanks to Enjoy Better Coffee! Great job, great java! read more

I ordered Tchibo coffee beans on line from "Enjoy Better Coffee" website. The next morning I received an email from the company advising me there were two identical orders and to confirm this before they ship my order. I have been buying coffee from Enjoy Better coffee for years. I am able to get the Tchibo I enjoy for about 25-80% less than local stores, if they even have it in stock. Plus I can order several cases at a time and not worry about picking up more for months. We recently moved and they noticed the change of billing and shipping address and called to verify before shipping to make sure it was not a fraud. I wish other retailers would be as careful. read more

I have done business with these guys for over a decade. Not living in a huge metropolitan area they made available choices in coffee that would not be available to me otherwise. On top of that their prices are consistently some of the most competitive anywhere. One of my favorite selections is Dallmayr, the premium German roast. Their prices are usually 20% or more competitive relative to the competition. When I have had questions I simply call them in advance of placing an order so everything is perfect. They have an array of Dutch, French, German, Italian, and Turkish roasts. They are glad to educate on the phone and assist you in being the barista with substantial knowledge and experience. read more

i think this company is terrific. I have been ordering a certain tea for about 2 years from them and they are always personable, and efficient. i asked about a particular coffee and they sent me a sample 1 lb bag to try. i noticed the negative comments about this company and was compelled to write a nice review to boost their ratings. they don't deserve a lower than 5 stars in my opinion. read more

Everyone I've come in contact with at this company has been absolutely fabulous. They are professional yet friendly. Their products are ideal for me. Their pricing is fair on a normal day but their sales prices can't be beat. I shop here because of a combo of all of the reasons listed above, but the main reason is customer service. During this years hurricane season I had placed an order to be shipped to my parents. Before the shipment was about to leave, a representative called to verify information about this being a gift (which it was and I was greatly appreciative) and then surprised me by offering to hold my shipment until the next hurricane passed thru Florida (where it was being shipped to) so I didn't have to worry about more than $150 worth of coffee being damaged or lost in the chaotic aftermath the weather terrorists were expecting. I accepted and then got another call to make sure I was okay with the new ship date we decided on or if I wanted to continue to hold the package. To me, that is above and beyond their job of fulfilling orders. It has won them a lifetime customer and I recommend their company to anyone and everyone. read more

I have been a customer in good standing for about one year. In October of 2014, Enjoy Better Coffee cancelled my account and refused to honor any further orders I had placed. They gave no reason for this other than the the following: "Unfortunately, we cannot satisfy your high standards for services with our company. Therefore, we decided to not do business with you." I had no idea to what they were referring and asked them to explain what they meant. I had just placed an order for my usual case of coffee through their website and had spoken with no one there! No email I sent was answered after that first one so I appealed to the Better Business Bureau for help. Unfortunately, other than to tell the BBB the following: ""This customer is unpleasant and offensive. We had problems with her and more likely will have in a future." Once again, I had no idea to what they could be referring and still had no inkling as to what had happened to ever make them think the things they were stating. I am virtually convinced they must have my account confused with that of another customer but cannot be certain since they will not answer properly. I have subsequently reported them the the State of Ohio Department of Consumer Complaints and am awaiting resolution, however, if what the BBB told me is true, that any business has the right to not do business with a customer, I do not know how this can be resolved. All I can do is warn others of what has happened and if they can do this to me, they can do it to anyone! Buy your coffee elsewhere before you, too, are refused access to your account and are insulted beyond all reason. read more

I ordered from this company the same coffee beans i ordered previously from Amazon and liked. one of the bags came full of air. i contacted their cs who basically told me that in fact all their bags come full of air and they sometimes suck the air out from that bags. that is weird considering that only one out of the 5 bags they sent me was full of air and that none of the bags i previously ordered from amazon had air. Plus, this coffee is imported from Netherlands, so i cannot see how this company would be involved in doing anything to these bags that are packed in Netherlands. They told me to return it if i do no like it. I gave up since the returning shipping would have costed me almost the whole refund for a bag. needless to say, after opening the bag the coffee was stale and flavorless. So, be aware that if you are ordering from this company, they will not correct a mistake and they will insist that that is the way the coffee should be. read more
