My husband and I recently bought an older home that we have been fixing up to get ready to move into soon. We contacted Enhanced Roofing to have some drywall and siding work done, and have been very pleased with the service provided. Their office has been very communicative regarding estimates and scheduling. The crew of guys that came out to do repairs today was professional and expedient. I wish I had taken more "before photos" to show the full scope of work done, but we had a hole from dog door in our living room to the outdoors completely filled in and re-sided. Our siding is older so they weren't able to find a complete match, but it's pretty darn close and we're very happy with the work. We also had drywall/ceiling repaired around a new electrical panel we recently had installed and some outdoor siding repair done to a hole left by an old electrical box. I purchased $2.7M home from Enhanced Homes (EH) in August 2024. After 15 months, workmanship has proven to meet only minimum building code, leaving me with major post-purchase costs. I've spent thousands of hours and ~400% more money completing unfinished or omitted items a reasonable $2.7M home buyer expects. Sod Grass Failure from Hidden Construction Debris ~$20 K +13 weeks During construction I saw EH's landscaper laying sod on clay mixed with construction debris--concrete, nails, pipe, glass, and rocks. Despite immediate notice, EH refused to fix. The grass looked fine through a mild spring but died once summer heat baked the debris. Seven lawn specialists confirmed roots burned by heated concrete and lack of soil depth. Correct replacement required removing debris, adding topsoil, and resodding (~$20K). EH dismisses this as "not a warranty item" and claims "it passed county inspection" and "looked green for ten months." True but irrelevant, inspection only verifies appearance that day; the root system was doomed from the start. Wet Bar $6K+4weeks Original plans included a wet bar near the dining room. EH refused, saying installing it required moving a nearby HVAC grill, a task requiring minimal effort. After closing, we resolved the grill at no cost but paid $5,714 and 4 weeks of work to add the wet bar ourselves. Frozen Pipes & Ineffective Insulation $5K+4 weeks The Finished Room Over Garage (FROG) stayed 49F last winter because garage ceiling was poorly insulated. EH declined to pay extra ~$963 for adequate foam during construction. We paid $5,124 to remedy. The uninsulated FROG toilet drain froze. EH initially refused to fix it for $200, then relented after weeks of debate. FROG bathtub base had no insulation or plywood wall, exposed directly to winter air via soffit vents. Electrical $3K+2 weeks Every light switch was on/off. We spent $3,521 and much time installing smart dimmers EH could have added for extra $963. Another case of EH cost cutting during construction that costs buyers ~300% + time later. Internet Cables 2 weeks Ethernet cables were left unterminated without RJ45 ends, preventing internet access until we paid technician to add connectors. The structured-media enclosure wiring box was incomplete; we paid to fix it. EH would not do either item. The underground conduit meant to protect the buried internet line to the utility pole was never installed. When asked, EH owner Ryan Fubini said, "I offered a guy cash to install conduit, but he wasn't interested." Predictably the unprotected cable was later cut by a landscaper, damage conduit would have prevented Builder Response Rather than fix issues Mr. Fubini responded by warning of "legal consequences" for posting reviews and sent an inaccurate, unprofessional message to my wife, which she pointedly refuted. Virginia's anti-S-L-APP laws protect truthful consumer reviews and allow recovery of costs if sued. I've been copied on emails from other EH buyers to Fubini reporting similar concerns, yet Fubini continues to claims I'm his only dissatisfied owner. EH cites many five-star ratings, but they are for small remodel jobs, not full new-home builds. Initially I gave testimonial to buyer who bought $2.5M EH home; Fubini never thanked me Summary Tradespeople who built our house appear to be skilled, by lack formal oversight, project management and quality control. EH leadership prioritized speed and cost-cutting over reasonable finishes, quality checks, problem-solving, and warranty. Every problem follows the same pattern: EH spent the minimum to pass inspection, deny responsibility afterward. EH's constant defense: "it passed Arlington County inspection" misses the point. Passing inspection only meets minimum legal standards at that moment. A luxury builder should exceed them, not hide behind them For anyone considering EH, hire rigorous inspector to check sq ft, structural, mechanical, insulation, finishes, and soil quality before closing. In January 2018, Enhanced Homes installed a metal roof at my property in Washington, DC with a 10-year workmanship warranty. In February 2026, we experienced a roof leak with interior intrusion and began contacting the company for warranty service. Over a period of seven days, we sent multiple emails, placed six phone calls, and left three voice messages without receiving a response. We have now submitted a formal written warranty claim through certified mail and are awaiting reply. I will update this review if the matter is resolved. read more

Ryan Fubini doesn't live up to his word or his warranty. I wouldn't trust him nor would recommend using him. His company Enhanced Roofing and Remodeling put a new roof on our house in 2017. Five years later, we found out there was a problem with his work. He sent one of his folks by and they agreed the flashing around the chimney was problematic. But Ryan said his roofing company went out of business. This is 100% untrue. The permit for the house he was redoing next door to us was pulled by Enhanced Roofing and Remodeling. See attached photo. The company also is still active in the Virginia Business Licenses database. Instead of doing the right thing and working with us to figure out how to repair the roof, Ryan offered nothing but insincere apologies and offers to put us in touch with roofers. $2,600 later to fix the problem his company created. I'm now filing a complaint with the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation as well as a complaint with Better Business Bureau. To be clear, I tried to avoid these courses of action. I asked Ryan several times to work together to figure this out. But it seems like he doesn't care about his clients or his word. Sad. read more

I can NOT recommend this company. I want to be clear that I only got as far as getting an inspection/diagnostic from them and did NOT move forward any full repairs. THE ORIGINAL CHARGE JUST FOR THE INSPECTION/DIAGNOSTIC FOR THE DECK/ROOF FIX WAS $550. This included removing perimeter boards of a deck and re-installing them in order to determine a permanent solution to a leaking deck/roof. I have included a picture of what "re-installing" looked like for this company. Their customer service team is very nice and did remove 25% from the total diagnostic fee - why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. So, I have now paid $412.50 in order for my deck to look WORSE than it did before they took a look at it. That is not the service I expected when I contracted this company to look at my deck. I HIGHLY suggest taking your time and money elsewhere. read more

The same company, operating as Enhanced Roofing and Remodeling, replaced our roof in 2019. They offered a five-year warranty on the work. I called them in 2022 to make a warranty claim, as we are selling our house and the inspector found a minor issue. I found that they had changed their name to Enhanced homes, are now building houses, and apparently feel no obligation to perform under the warranty. I have left multiple messages over the last week and a half. The receptionist explained that the previous company is not is business--although they seem to have no problem using the positive reviews they received as the previous company--and that they no longer have people who do this work. I suppose that they houses they are building no longer have roofs on them. The receptionist told me that the owner would need to give me a call. I first called them a week and a half ago. No call. If you use these folks, I'd look on any warranty with a pretty skeptical eye. They seem to have little interest in standing behind their work. Quote by the owner: "I don't have roofing crews, rucks, salesman etc. anymore. It's a new company and business." And yet, he advertises that they do roofing work. And they build new houses. Working with ERR was a great overall experience! Prior to selecting Enhanced, we conducted our research, interviewed other builders and when we met Ryan and Selma and they explained the entire process - they were not pushy or salesy, plus local and family owned, we decided to go with them. To be completely honest, the entire process was not 100% perfect, however it is how ERR responded when we had questions, issues or changes that set them apart from what we've heard from other companies. The office (Selma) was extremely responsive and our project manager (Scott Workman) was always available at the house for a walkthrough and to explain things. When needed Ryan (owner) was also available to meet in person at the office or on-site and everyone was very quick to respond via phone, email or text. With our project being a major renovation, Ryan was right on budget with the allowances (which was amazing) and very accommodating with changes (within reason) that we decided to make along the way. It was evident he really cared that we were getting what we wanted and would be content with the final outcome. As mentioned, if something on the plans changed slightly (by our choice or because in construction, things inevitably pop up), he was mindful of our budget and was very fair, which is all we could ask for. Overall, it has been a little over a year since we settled back in and could not be happier, especially having everyone at home (work and school) amidst the pandemic. First I'm going to tell you why we chose Enhanced, and then I'll tell you why they're awesome. We bought a very run down home in Arlington and dreamt up a beautiful vision of what we wanted. We talked to a number of contractors, and Ryan was the first to come in and tell us what we NEEDED to do and what he would do if it were his house--which, frankly, is what we preferred, given that it was SO old and needed a lot of boring work to be done. Also, Ryan was friendly and open and seemed easy to work with, and he was! Here's why they're awesome. I am PICKY. I've gone through every Design Sponge home tour and spent a quarter of my free time on design blogs. Ours was basically a completely custom house on a very tight budget. We removed every wall we could, removed the attic and vaulted the ceilings, installed skylights, applied nickel-gap boards to the ceiling, added a handicapped curbless shower, and much more. I couldn't find a vent hood I liked (who can?) so Ryan's team made us a custom one, and a custom fireplace, both matching the nickel-gap ceiling. When the light fixture in the bathroom was 5 inches too high for my taste, he moved it. Our house looks AMAZING now, and, despite its small size, we get a lot of comments on how bright and open it is! Our scope increased quite a bit along the way (read complete gut job, and exterior roofing and siding...) but we feel we got excellent value for our money. (Thank you so much, Ryan!!) We hired Enhanced Roofing to fix a 120 sq. ft. flat porch roof that had been leaking a bit. They ended up removing and replacing it entirely for a total of $4,221. They did all that work while we were away. But, when we came back, we were shocked by what we saw: the sole existing downspout had been left entirely disconnected (see Picture) and was not replaced by any water-collection device. What came next was worse: even in light rain, the water was pooling in the center of the new roof (see picture). In heavier rain, it was pooling almost everywhere and then dripping all over the edges. We called them about it. A Mr. Ford showed up and started explaining that water pooling was normal and that we had a 10-year warranty in any case (it is actually 5 years). We pointed out that a "flat roof" should have a slope. The minimum according to standard code is 2%. Obviously, there is no such slope in the roof they rebuilt. However, there was a slope in the original roof that drained all the water to the existing downspout. And we had never experienced the kind of water pooling that we now see. We discussed with Mr. Ford various remedies such as re-establishing the slope, adding gutters and connecting them to the existing downspout. Mr. Ford later sent us an email expressing clearly that we would have to pay for all of that fixing. He claimed that Enhanced Roofing had done the job completely right. He wrote (I quote): "We install the Certainteed Flintlastic low slopped roofing system which has been installed per manufactures specifications." We then looked on the CertainTeed website for the Flintlastic installation Manual. It says on p.10: "The roof surface that is to receive the roof membrane shall have slope to water collection devices. (...) Model building codes and good roofing practice have established a minimum slope for roofs at 1/4":12 running inches. (...) All roof areas shall be designed and installed to drain without holding water on the roof surface." We wrote back to Mr. Ford: "Your installation does not meet the above standards by any stretch of imagination. There is no significant slope, there is no water collection device, and there is plenty of water holding on the roof surface even with light (not heavy) rain." He never responded to that. Dishonesty in the face of indisputable evidence is one of the worst behaviors any business can exhibit. Enhanced Roofing has set a new record for that in my personal experience. UPDATE: After I posted the above review on Yelp and Google, Mr. Ford finally called, admitting that their work was flawed and offering to fix it at no charge. In order to avoid further issues from developing, I requested a clear and complete description of the fixing work illustrated by a diagram. The proposal I got, about a week later, was unclear about the proposed installation. Instead of a diagram showing slope and the positioning of a gutter and downspout that I had requested, I received copy of a document (see picture) from a separate business called Tapered Solutions. It shows a tiny rectangle with no annotation. It makes a separate mention of a ¼" slope. This is typical of Enhanced Roofing's way of communicating: you, the customer, are left guessing and filling in the details. Where is the gutter? What is the orientation? What do they mean by a ¼" slope (a slope is an angle or a ratio such as ¼"-per-foot, not a length such as ¼")? And if you do not make the right guesses Enhanced Roofing will blame you, not their own lack of transparency. Out of frustration, I wrote Mr. Ford that he would have to do "a lot better than that." But this was too much for the owner of Enhanced Roofing, a Mr. Ryan Fubini, who wrote back to me that my emails were unacceptable. He added (I quote): "We will not be communicating with you further. The roof is not leaking, we rebuilt and repaired your dilapidated roof as well as all of the framing below. There is nominal amounts of standing water which is acceptable." Although the roof is not technically leaking, the effect of their incorrect installation is essentially the same: rainwater is dripping all over the edges and ends up inside our porch in large amounts. Moreover, Mr. Fubini forgets to define what amount of standing water can be considered "nominal" and therefore "acceptable," and by whom. Indeed, city code and the FlintLastic installation manual require a minimum slope for a good reason: to avoid standing water. The simple truth is that Enhanced Roofing did not fulfill their contract on that essential part and are refusing to come clean. They have just beaten their own record of dishonesty. read more

First Review: 9/4/2018 Given Enhanced Roofing & Remodeling's high rating on Yelp, it was the very first company I reached out to to get an estimate for some work on my house. I emailed them three times and called them twice over a period of two weeks with no response. Not a single response. I'm not sure how this company has a five star rating given their lack of responsiveness. Second Review: 11/13/2018 I am updating my review in response to the comment from the owner that I "never responded nor communicated with us" and that he believes "this to be a false review". I did contact this company numerous times. We started with just a simple addition and kitchen/bath remodel that turned into a whole home reconstruction/remodel due to the condition of the home. Short Version: They either don't know how to currently install flashing or are willing to do it incorrectly save time or money and were not willing to admit their error. Long Version: As part of the purchase agreement of our house the chimney flashings were replaced by Enhanced Roofing. The invoice stated that there was a 190 day labor warranty. The first big rain storm after the work was done resulted in a leak next to the chimney where there was none before. It took a couple weeks of phone tag to get them out to take a look. During this time I traced the water leak back to identify the point of entry so that I could show them. It was on the high side of the chimney when water ran against the siding flowing down to the new flashing Enhanced Roofing had installed. After showing them where the water was entering they diagnosed it as not a problem with their prior work but that the chimney would require a cricket to be built and they provided a price to have the work done. A cricket or saddle is a ridge structure to divert water around the chimney so that water and/or debris will not pool/collect behind it. By code it is required on chimneys over 30" wide. In this case the exposed portion of the chimney is ~7-8 in. I was a bit suspicious of their diagnosis/explanation so I showed pictures of the replaced flashing to 3 different roofers. All 3 agreed that the work was done incorrectly. The main points I received from them were that Caulk should not be relied upon keep water from going under flashings and that while a cricket would be a nice addition it should not be required. With this new knowledge I examined the flashing again and found that they had ended the new flashing against the outside of the side while existing flashing (uphill of their new flashing) was running under the siding. This would result in water running down against the existing uphill flashing to simply be dumped under their new flashing. Flashings should always overlap the next flashing downhill to prevent leaks. With this new information I sent an explanation of how the leak was occurring with documenting photos to Enhanced Roofing and asked if they still thought that their diagnosis was correct. I received an answer that the cricket was needed. At this point, I was done trying to work with them. They left me with the feeling that they either don't know what they are doing, were willing to do incorrect work to be the lowest cost, or made a mistake and then refused to admit it. The bad flashing job was repaired without the involvement of Enhanced Roofing or a cricket and we have been leak free. read more

I would never recommend this company, during the initial estimate I met with the gentlemen. Seems knowledgeable and I asked if we needed a permit since we were adding electrical and cutting through the roof. He said no. As of this morning they weren't going to be able to make the appointment. I called the city and they confirmed that we do need permits. I was later called and told they were not aware they needed permits. The comment was the city just wants money so that's why they want a permit. You decide if you want a contractor that doesn't know the codes. read more

We had a leak in our house and he used an infrared scanning tool to diagnose the leak quickly and effectively; other contractors came out and could not even find the source of the leak. Scheduling the work was painless and required minimal effort on my part by working with my schedule. The work was done using high quality materials and a skilled laborer. Long story, we were ultimately unsatisfied but during the process we did say we'd take down the one star review if he would tarp our roof for free after their 4 or 5 re-visits failed to solve the problem they didn't fix in the first place. They told us if we were still unsatisfied we could put it back up. So I put it back up and then he threatened to sue me. The one star review has now been taken back down. UPDATE - 11/7/2018 Well, since you opened the door, and apparently want to air this disagreement publicly, here's what actually transpired: 1) 2015 Our original project we requested that our roof be checked and based on your expertise, suitable action be taken; i.e. do we need a new roof. - At the time of this project, your salesperson instructed that we needed to have our roof scraped and re-sealed, which is what we understood was contracted as Cody Hensley indicated in his email on Oct 14th, 2015. 2) Months after the March, 2016 completion, in September 2016, our roof leaked and your team were dispatched to repair the roof and re-do the ceiling in our bedroom. At this point, no one from Enhanced indicated that we needed a new roof. 3) A second trip by your team was required a few months after that in early 2017 as the leak returned, and again, your team re-painted our bedroom, and "re-painted" the roof. Still, no one from Enhanced indicated that we needed a new roof. Michael made another trip in late 2017 to patch some more holes, even leaving a can of sealant on the roof so it would be there waiting for him next time. 4) Again, our roof showed signs that the leak had returned by March of 2018. We immediately tried to get in touch with your team and after weeks of phone tag, and unanswered emails, nearly a month and half later we finally got someone to agree to come out to look at the roof. However, after your salesperson Scott Seaman flat out lied to us about looking at our roof (I work from home with a clear view to both the front and back of our house), nothing had been done. He even at one point said that one of his guys had come out to patch the holes - again, I work from home and can tell you with certainty, no one came out. 5) While attempting to get in contact with Enhanced to get the issue resolved, we had a brutal rain which allowed the leak (which we had been trying to have you repair for months) to break through the ceiling. Finally after writing a truthful and accurate review of the poor service we received and your unsuccessful attempts of repair, it finally made its way to you. And by the way, before we volunteered the review, we received numerous requests from your office to please provide a review but chose not to share our experience as we tried in good faith to resolve our issues. Happy to forward those requests to you if you'd like to see them. It was only at this point that Enhanced informed us we didn't get our roof re-sealed, it was only silver oxide paint, was only meant to be a temporary fix, and that we required a new roof. It was also during this conversation, as a way to repair the relationship, you offered to tarp the roof at your cost. A problem that could have been 100% avoided if your team had originally correctly identified the needed actions (i.e. a new roof), or at any of the subsequent visits inform us that a new roof was needed, or even earlier this year responded to our request to come look at the roof, the tarp would have not been necessary. Please note that what has been included in the review is our experience with your company. We gave you an opportunity to mend the relationship by asking you to give us a quote and what you offered was a quote that was by far the highest of all the other quotes received and you also chose not to provide for any considerations for the aggravation and property damages that we are now facing due to your continued poor workmanship and poor customer service. We believe we have been overly generous with giving Enhanced multiple chances to remedy the failure and ample time to inform us that a different repair was required. The review that has been posted has been updated to reflect two stars as apparently providing the truth of our experience is something that you have threatened us with action from your attorney - which is you wrote in an email earlier today. What is "wrong and vile" is the manner in which you have attacked us and threatened us with legal action as we have been incredibly patient attempting to provide your company a number of times to remedy the issue PLUS 100% of this is due to your company's failure in either your work product or failures to respond to communication. And by the way, the first whisper of a wind demolished the tarping. We have been dealing with a leaky roof all Fall while we wait for the roofing contractor we hired to have a slot to take care of us. That would be today, thank goodness. read more

The fascia on my roof was rotting away. After seeing Enhanced Roofing work on a neighbor's roof, we talked to Jose. His office promptly sent a quote. Jose and his team arrived promptly at 8 a.m on the appointed date to complete the repair and told me that it would take about 3 hours (which is relatively quick). They completed the repair on time. They even secured the rain gutter, which had come loose as well as removing an extraneous cable from the roof, which had been installed at some point. They cleaned up any debris. Their attitudes were great the entire time and they were very fast and efficient. The price was reasonable. Great experience overall. read more

We shopped around to quite a few businesses, but after speaking to a few realtor friends and meeting Enhanced's owner Ryan, we were confident he would do a good job at a fair price. He never overcharged us, he was fair when the unexpected expenses came up, and gave suggestions for how to keep costs down. He finished the project on time, with a reasonable timeline from start to finish. He team was respectful and took feedback during our many stops to the house during the process. The house is better than we could have ever dreamed. And he has been in constant communication with us since we moved in, for quality assurance. My roof shingles were very old and faded, so I contacted a couple of companies to get quotes. They were about $1000 less than the other company, and I was impressed by their representative (Tim) who gave us the estimate. We only had to wait a couple of weeks, and they did the work in one day. I watched when they finished and they really looked all over for garbage and pieces of roof that had fallen. It was spotless when they had left. The roof looks great and Tim came back shortly after to check it out and see if I had any questions. The front office was always polite when I called, so I recommend you give them a try. read more

I developed quite the relationship with Enhanced over the course of about 6 weeks, and at the end of it all I'm happy with the work that they did. They lose one star because I had a fair amount of trouble getting the estimate done in a timely way. There were a number of times when my initial point of contact did not show up because of confused communications. However, when I pressed them to replace my roof quickly, they did get it done. In the process, their workers broke a REALLY expensive grill (Big Green Egg). However they paid for the replacement with no complaint or problem, which was super nice. It's hard to tell about the quality of workmanship on a roof, but there was one part that I saw looked funky. I sent them a picture of it and they came right out and fixed it. We've had so much rain since the roof was installed and no leaks, so I assume all is well. Here is the detail that told me this is a good company. After the roof was installed and the grill was replaced, Enhanced repaired an exterior window well where the concrete had disintegrated. One guy came out and spent the day doing the work. While the concrete was drying I gave him some lunch and he told me how much he liked working for Enhanced. Enhanced Roofing was great to work with! I called and got an assessment pretty quickly where Tim offered an estimate on the spot for the rake board and chimney. He also suggested additional work to the roof and gave me both estimates but didn't pressure me to go with which option. The work was scheduled within a few days but due to the rain forecast, the office called the day prior to reschedule. On the reschedule date, they showed up that morning and went to work. They were efficient and picked up any trash or debris while they worked. Overall, I would recommend them and be happy to work with them again. read more

Almost perfect. I was waiting on one contractor to respond with an estimate and after a week of watching my daughter's ceiling crack worsen, I called these guys. Tori sent Mike out to the house the same afternoon I called, which was amazing. He took all of fifteen minutes to assess the situation and propose a remedy. When I grimaced at the prescription, he adjusted the scope of the project while still addressing the problem and quoted a fair price (so fair that my previous contractor said he couldn't compete). If there's one problem, it was the delay in getting a formal estimate since I needed one before work could be scheduled. Despite following up, I did not hear back for a week. I had to call Tori again who out me back in touch with Mike. But once that happened, things got rolling. Two days after the formal estimate, two teams came out to the house - one to handle the interior drywall and the other to handle roof repairs. Those guys worked their asses off. It took them all day but when they were done, you could hardly tell that there was a cracked ceiling that was sagging six inches. I'd gladly use these guys to remodel my home before selling. Professionals who complete the job well. ------- 1/10/17 update These guys came to handle a small job and were willing to do it in sub freezing temperatures. It was a really small job that took less than an hour but there was no fuss. When they finished, they made sure that I was satisfied by it. While roofing is their specialty and something I'd definitely contract them for, I also don't hesitate to contact them first for other home repair projects. If it's in their wheelhouse, they're my first choice. read more

Ok- an update- front desk people -make sure the phone hangs up BEFORE you start talking crap about a customer and your staff- totally unprofessional -great work but again I would recommend the front desk folks learn some customer service . The contractor who came out -Kyle and his partner JC-- did an excellent job and was highly professional- I'd recommend them anytime for excellent work. Reasonably priced, owned by a local and very quick. My roof was original to the house and was getting to end of life. The quote was reasonable for the size of the roof and of course importantly they have an online presence. My only issue was communication. I was basically told the day of the roof replacement that they were coming, and had to scramble in the morning to make sure that they had the correct color for the roof tiles (ah, the joy of a HOA). Amazingly they did it in a day and got everything cleaned up before leaving. I would definitely recommend. read more

This review is for an exterior carport repair -- not a new roof. So I can't vouch for the company on roofing. But on the repair, they did a good job. The fools who originally constructed our carport probably 5 to 7 years ago managed to use untreated woods for the cross beams. They were rotting and if left alone much longer, the carport probably would have collapsed in a matter of weeks/months. Enhanced built a simple support system while they installed new treated wood to replace the bad crossbeams. They also instructed me how to care for the wood (filling in, painting) to prevent future weather-related problems. I really like the project head -- straightforward guy who knew what he was doing. Their crew completed the job very quickly -- in less than a day. I contrast this with another local contracting company, which provided me with an estimate 50% more expensive and said it would take 2-3 days. Crazy. With that said, even Enhanced's more reasonable price seemed a bit steep for 5 hours of work plus some wood and nails, but in the DC-area, I'm not sure there's any such thing as a reasonable price for home-related services. My other mild complaint is that it took them a month to come out to do the repair after the contract was signed. However, to be fair, summer is a busy time for these guys and weather makes it take longer. I nearly gave them 5-stars, but I'm a pretty tough critic. I'd definitely use them again if I needed a similar sort of repair (though, I'm sure hoping that I don't!). read more

Called three different roofing companies. One came out within hours of calling, but never provided an estimate. Carl was able to come out the following day, and gave an estimate on the same visit. The other company was difficult to get a hold of and their estimate contained additional items where we questioned their integrity. Given Carl's responsiveness, honesty, integrity, and expertise, we selected Enhanced. Carl guided us every step of the way through the process. From start to finish, we could count on him being there. Price is one thing, but getting something accomplished where expertise and responsiveness are required is even more important. I have hired Enhanced Roofing & Remodeling two times over the past few years. The first time was a relatively minor repair on some roof and chimney damage. I got a few quotes, and the price from Enhanced was the most competitive, and included an option to completely replace part of the roof as well. It was done quickly and without incident. The heavy winter snow and high winds have caused my house to suffer some roof damage. This allowed rain water to enter into the house. The winds were so strong that the exhaust cap was also completely blown off. After calling several roofing contractors to give me an estimate, Enhanced Roofing was the only roofing company that was willing to answer my call for help. They are so dedicated, that even while it was raining, one of their workers came over and made a temporary fix for the hole where the exhaust vent was previously located. He was also able to do a quick inspection of the roof. I really appreciate companies like this that go out of their way and are able to put one's mind at ease, during a potential emergency situation. Overall, very good results working with Enhanced Roofing and Remodeling and I would certainly use them again and recommend to others. The project itself consisted of roof shingle replacement, attic fan and ventilation system installation, and some odds and ends with window and door trim replacement. Wooden door and window trim were decaying and I wanted them replaced with wood wrapped in sheet metal of similar color to the existing. The Enhanced estimate was somewhat in the middle when compared to the other contractors. I received 2 higher estimates and 1 lower estimate from other contractors. The good company reviews combined with the average price is why I chose to work with this company. The project itself took a little longer than I expected as there were several initial communication issues and delays, however, it was in fact completed successfully and to my satisfaction. The shingles were replaced in just several hours. Window trim was replaced a few weeks later, however, during my inspection I found two of them to be dented. I raised the concern to the business manager and in return they remedied the issue by replacing both them. It was surprising but also refreshing to see how the company responded whenever an issue was encountered. Although a few kinks were encountered during this project (just as you would expect with any project I suppose), it was the company's response to each of them why I gave a 5-star review. Communication improved through the project and the customer service team reached out to me a few times throughout project to ensure my expectations were met. read more
