The overall vibe had a very "mean girl" energy, which immediately made her uncomfortable. Instead of being welcoming or professional, the worker talked down to her about what she wanted and made her feel dismissed rather than supported. During the appointment, it became clear she wasn't being listened to. Rather than working with her or explaining options, the worker seemed to ignore her preferences and just did whatever she wanted when placing the Botox. To make matters worse, my wife wasn't given any post-op instructions. She's experienced with Botox, so she knows what to do--but that's honestly concerning for anyone who might be new and relying on guidance. She also was never provided an itemized receipt, which feels unprofessional and questionable. On top of all that, this place was significantly more expensive than what she's used to paying elsewhere, and the results were incredibly disappointing. She has been getting Botox for years and has never felt this let down by both the service and the outcome. Overall, unprofessional, overpriced, and uncomfortable experience. Update: I've been getting Botox for over 6 years (mostly in San Francisco) and have never run into…read morethis at another practice. After writing this review, I went back through my chart notes and noticed something I hadn't caught at the time. My first visit on 5/18, I came in wanting to stop my forehead from scrunching, and they gave me 12 units in my glabella. When that didn't address what I'd asked about, I returned on 6/3 and paid separately for 10 units in my forehead, which did work. I've only ever asked for forehead Botox before and wasn't familiar with the term glabella, so I didn't realize these were two different areas being treated. I raised this with the practice, and their records reflect the 6/3 visit as an added area rather than a correction, so we see it differently. I'd encourage anyone going in to confirm specifically which muscle is being treated and what it will and won't address. I assumed I was being treated for the concern I asked about, and that assumption cost me a second visit. The masseter Botox I received was fine, but paying twice to get the one thing I originally asked for is hard to look past. The staff themselves were good but my issue is with how the treatment and this follow up was handled.
