I've had 2 sessions of ILP and am very pleased with the results. My sun spots are gone. The staff is friendly and considerate.

I called to schedule a new patient exam and was asked what I'm interested in. After answering that question (with my concern about potential skin cancer) was I told that the doctors are not accepting new patients. I told the receptionist that it was strange to be asked what I'm interested in first, if the doctor is not accepting new patients. I asked if the answer would be different if I was interested in cosmetic services and she told me "yes". There would be a significant wait, but I could schedule for a cosmetic consult, and I could not have medical concerns addressed at such a visit. This told me everything I need to know about this practice. Skin cancer, which is potentially lethal, is not something they have time for - cosmetics pay much more.

Secondly, Dr. Stacey is a true scientist; she constantly educates herself and her clients on the latest technology and science. The facilities are clean, the staff is friendly, scheduling is easy, and the products are great! I highly recommend infra-red sauna, Azel products, general dermatology, micro-needling, and laser hair removal (all tried and worked!).

If you're looking for a dermatology provider who combines deep expertise with genuine compassion , I highly recommend PA Michaela Sullivan.

I have redness, dryness and flakiness, and weird pimples/rashes all over my face. I asked multiple times what a possible diagnosis could be, what lifestyle changes I could make, and she had no answers. Is it Acne? "No". Is it Rosacea? "No". Is it fungal acne? "No". She rejected all of those and Just prescribed a pharmaceutical grade moisturizer for the dryness and sent me on my merry way. It wasn't until afterwards seeing a different specialist I was diagnosed with Demodex mites and fungal acne. I started using topicals to kill the infections and my skin is clear and actually moisturizing itself again. Don't go here.

What an amazing group of people! I really enjoyed my experience here. I felt seen and heard from…read morethe minute I walked in the door. The check-in process was easy, and I had multiple people check in with me and confirm the symptoms I was concerned about. The dermatologist walked me through the treatment plan and answered any questions I had. I don't know if it's a woman-owned business or if I just had the pleasure of interacting with only ladies, but either way, I felt very comfortable throughout my visit. They accepted my insurance, my prescription was sent to the pharmacy right away, and I am going to schedule a follow-up in a couple of weeks. Thanks, Mandel Dermatology!

Wow! This dermatologist's office is SO much better than any other I have dealt with!…read more I spent over two hours today calling competitors for help today. I either had to leave a message or dealt with someone who was less than helpful... Until, I called Mandel Dermatology. I spoke with Ashley and (unlike the rest) she treated me like a human and really wanted to help me rather than just get my insurance information. Long story short, Ashley helped me make a same-day appointment. Now don't expect that they can always do this, but I lucked out. Immediately upon entering I noticed how friendly all the staff were and the decor is nice and more modern than most clinics I have been in. Filled out some first time patient docs through a link on my phone which was very convenient and then saw Arielle Ades. She and Ashley both listened to my issue and Arielle explained her approach to the treatment and with my consent had it taken care of right then and there. Seriously consider giving these professionals a call next time you need any dermatological help. I couldn't be happier to find a place that was more concerned with helping me than treating me like a number. Thank you both Ashley and Arielle!

Dr. Weber always takes her time to answer my numerous questions and never makes me feel like I'm just a number to them. Sometimes they can be booked up for several weeks (that's why I'm giving them a 4 instead of a 5, although it's not any fault of theirs that they're so popular!). My fiance has been going to Dr. Scatena for about the same time as I've gone to Dr. Weber, and he's had much more to be done over the years. Same with Weber, Dr. Scatena answers all of our questions every time we go in, she lets me sit in the room during his procedures, is incredibly patient with me worrying about him, and ultimately makes me feel much more relaxed about the whole thing. My fiance and I have only ever been in for investigating moles/freckles and the like, so I can't speak to their other dermatology services like skincare, but I would still recommend them to anyone looking for a first-class dermatologist in Boulder.

I went in wanting a doctor's professional advice on how to care for my aging skin and at best, just agreed with what I asked her about. It's like I didn't interest her as a patient. I'll go elsewhere from now on to an office with a doctor who is interested in actively examining a patient's skin and recommending a course of action/treatment, be it for maintenance or targeted issues. If none of that sounds like a problem to you, do know that when I asked her medical assistant a question about the serum being applied to my face for after-care, the assistant didn't know and had to read the label. Also, as far as front desk help goes, way too many assistants that you get bounced around with, taking payment and shuttling you through. The biggest issue for me, though, is the doctor's lack of care/interest/ability to recommend anything.

I went in for estradiol pellets to help relieve a few menopause symptoms. At a later visit, while describing new symptoms, Dr. Rastegar discovered and acknowledged she had forgotten to prescribe progesterone, which is a necessary part of this procedure. She inserted another estrogen pellet before addressing the issue, and added a prescription for progesterone. Once I started taking the progesterone, for the next few months I experienced heavy bleeding and painful cramping, ultimately requiring an ultrasound at my own expense that showed a thickened uterine lining, which is a documented result of receiving estradiol without progesterone. When I raised concerns about the prolonged bleeding, discomfort, and the initial oversight, the response was dismissive and framed as "just a risk of HRT". Dr. Rastegar held no accountability of her oversight, nor did she offer meaningful support. Hormone therapy requires careful management and follow-up. That standard was not met in my case, and I want other women to be fully informed before seeking similar treatment here.

However, this company has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I can't recommend them. A while back, I had tried to get appts for a treatment, but was forced to late cancel twice due to me contracting covid and then my elementary aged daughter contracting covid, once I had a cold sore and they asked me not to come in, and once because I am a displaced elementary teacher and was asked to teach last minute. As a displaced teacher, it is crucial to be available so they will call you again in the future. Rinnova charged me for these late cancellations, which was okay. I understood they were not able to fill that slot regardless of what had gone awry for me. It was a short string of bad luck when I've never had issues with coming to my appts there in the past. For my last appt, they told me it would be no problem to reschedule but that if I canceled one more time then they would not be able to book me in the future. I of course understood this to be the agreement and so I accepted the substitute teaching job for the day and rescheduled, and honored our agreement. Everything seemed fine. I just tried to schedule the same procedure a year later. I intentionally waited until summer so that any substitute teaching assignments would not conflict. After booking my appt, Rinnova called me to say I am not welcome at their business any longer, despite having come to the last appt. It is so disappointing to see a business not be understanding about two conflicts due to covid and the plight of a displaced educator. I honored our verbal agreement which they proposed, and they retracted it a year later; and over the phone, made me feel embarrassed and shamed for it.
