Owner Rob Bloch is reluctant to honer a warranty on my expensive front door they installed in late April 2024. Two weeks ago in June the lock stopped working and I see light at the top of the door and it has started to bind on closure. Update: Rob was late answering my requests due to an emergency medical procedure. This morning his warranty installer called and scheduled a visit later this week to fix the door's problems. We got a custom front door and sliding back doors installed with them. First they were at least 3 months behind on procuring the door. The door and the surrounding panels were TERRIBLE QUALITY and even worse they used indoor paint on an outdoor surface. First the inside handle falls clean off THREE DAYS after the door was installed, then a month later, the outside handle comes loose and falls off. Finally less than 5 months later, the paint starts chipping left right and center from the surrounding panels. They refused to fix it citing that the panels, that were installed WITH the door, are "Not covered under warranty". On top of that they were argumentative about me being unreasonable about their services. Even the back side sliding door was done badly. Some older wiring at the back was left hanging loose, the panels were not caulked professionally. This company buys CHEAP equipment uses substandard processes and charges an arm and a leg for it. Unfortunately NOTHING good to say about them. Terrible company, Terrible quality, Terrible people. STAY AWAY and go with just about ANY OTHER company. read more

I bought a townhouse with most, if not all, the windows needing replacement. I went with Energy Windows, Doors and More because their price was competitive. I got 18 windows and a sliding patio door installed 12/18. Since my installation date, I had small bumps in the road such as the women in the front office not being nice over the phone and an issue with a torn screen. Rob, the owner, resolved both issues. He gave me his personal cell # to work with him directly, and went to my residence personally to take the old screen out and then went to the manufacturer, Ideal Windows Manufacturing, Inc. in Bayonne, NJ, picking up the new screen and have one of his servicemen install it. Rob went beyond the call of duty with respect to excellent customer service and shows he cares about it not just in words but his actions. Thank you Rob! read more

My appointment was rescheduled 3 times, with barely no call ahead. At the day of the final installment the tech was suppose to be at my house at 7am no one called me or showed up.we called the and got an ignorant lady who works the front office I think her name is Marcy and said that no one will be coming out today and forced to take another day. When I declined another day and demanded that my window gets put in on the promised day she threatened me to take me to court. That's the service that no one should offer to their consumers. However the installers were professional and courteous and did a great job. I would not recommend this company. read more

The owner Rob has been a pleasure to work with. My rental property has windows with all different sizes and shapes and he and his team made sure each window was placed in securely and properly. Robert Block came to my house and despite my warning that I was not interested in a hard sell and would be seeking other quotes he proceeded to do the hard sell. He started his quote with a decent window and when I said no he switched to a terrible window. When I still balked at the price he left my house to "call the manufacturer and get the price down". It was clear he would not leave until I agreed to the job, which I did. Later that night, when I got the chance to research the windows, I cancelled the agreement and he told me he would void the charge when he was back in the office. It is now 10 days later and he has yet to void the charge or refund me. I called him because of a coupon in a mailer - DO NOT call this company. I purchased a old home in Collingswood, NJ, and a few of the windows were in such bad shape that they didn't really open - not terribly convenient for someone who loves fresh air & uses a window unit AC in the summer months. I had several companies come out to give me estimates, but no one gave me as fair as a price as Rob Bloch of Energy Windows Doors & More. He was super easy to work with, and went over my options in great detail. I tend to have a lot of questions, and he was very patient with me. The installation only took a few hours, and the team was efficient and tidy. In fact, they even accommodated my work schedule; as a single homeowner, this is huge for me. I've should have done more research before choosing this company. Sales representative did a great job with locking us in but the issue was poor communication. Customer service representatives were short with me each time I called for an update on installation date. The lead person of the installation team argued with my husband about the form of final payment, we missed the fine print of how the form of final payment needed to be rendered. Still, Two wrongs don't make a right and this situation was handled poorly and unprofessional. My installation date was confirmed 2 days prior and on the installation date they did a no call/ no show! I had to speak with a supervisor to sort the situation and supervisor had to reschedule the date which was a huge inconvenience for my family and I. As for the installation process, work was fair. Installation team did not ask to see my contract and they almost missed some small details that was agreed upon on within the contract until I mentioned it. When the installers showed up they came In a different marked company van, which made me think that Energy Windows & More subtract with other companies and as a customer you have to communicate with both in parties in process. read more

I was dreading getting the windows in our house changed out, but it really needed to be done. I called a few companies for estimates and braced myself because I knew very little about windows or their installation. Energy was the first company to come out; Rob Block was very friendly and took a look at all the windows that needed replacing, including a large bow window in our living room that we wanted to downsize (required some construction work, not just pop window out, put new window in). I was reluctant at first when offered a special price if I would sign a contract on the spot. However, Energy had great reviews on Angie's List and the price was about $2000 less than we expected to pay, so after conferring with my husband on the phone, we decided to go for it. We got eleven windows replaced, I didn't have to get a bunch of estimates, and the windows were installed quickly, about three weeks later. The two workers who did the installation were friendly, professional, spoke English, and did not leave any mess behind. The construction that was needed on the bow window frame was done beautifully. We're very happy with the windows we received, and got two calls from the company to make sure we were satisfied with the product and installation. I am not usually a fan of the "hard sell" but in this case it felt like a win-win. read more

We had a really positive experience with Energy Windows. We needed an entire room of windows plus two other windows in our house in Margate, NJ. It came to 14 windows altogether. The gentleman who came out to do measurements and to discuss options with us was very professional. We never got a salesy vibe from him at all. He gave us the options available and discussed merits of all. In addition, he was creative in giving us an option that never occurred to us. We ended up going that route after all. The room had casement windows on the sides. We just assumed, we needed to go that route aesthetically but after talking to him, he suggested a specific type of sliding windows (the technical name escapes me now) .This seemed more affordable and equally attractive to our existing situation. in addition, he indicated that casement windows are tough to maintain in the 'shore climate' of Margate, which is exactly why were in this situation. Since this is a summer home for us, we weren't going to be available at time of installation. We have had bad luck with other vendors doing work while we were absent. This was absolutely not the case here. The place was left spotless. The windows are impeccable. We received a follow up call once they were installed to let us know the work went according to plan and to make sure we knew that we could call at any time if we had any questions at all The only bummer about Energy Windows is that they don't serve the Washington DC area. This is area of my primary residence. I need similar work done here and know I will be hard pressed to find a company that comes in at such a fair price with professional staffing and excellent execution. read more

I called a few companies to get quotes and Rob was the most professional and personable person I met with. They are quality windows and the prices are very reasonable! Robert Block says one thing n does another . he does make many promises but does not back them . he never came back to finish my job . All the bad reviews are very accurate. good price but poor salesmanship . windows measure wrong and then u have to chase after him to get the job done. would not recommend this company to anyone. they are rude , double talk and unprofessional . read more
