Best warranty and quality materials and labor. 949 637-9108. They are out of Santa Clarita. We are so happy and satisfied with our system and our bills have gone from $300 plus a month to less than $40 a month. Also when the power has gone out in our neighborhood the battery backup has saved the day. Stellar value, workmanship, professionalism and service plus a 25 year warranty. Highly recommended

California Solar and Electric was great to work with. But I wanted to provide a more detailed…read morereview than I normally do as this was a bit more complicated than just going out to dinner. At my old home I had solar installed without any kind of battery backup as at the time battery backup was really not an option. Solar was pretty good but did not provide me with a zero bill. When I sold that home and moved into my new home the cost was more than I wanted to spend. Fast forward three years and prices have come down and with the federal tax credit expiring I decided to make the investment as the cost of electricity seems to keep going up. I wanted to go with Tesla as being a big company I thought they would be a good choice. The first problem I had with them is you can't reach a person to talk to. And for the amount of money this costs I was not really comfortable, however I moved on and paid a deposit and started the process in September of 2025. When I finally was able to speak with a person they told me that they could not guarantee that they could complete the installation by the December 31, 2025 deadline, really 4 months of lead time? I canceled Tesla and looked around at my other options. Shelter came to my home and we spoke. They were knowledgeable and the salesperson was really nice, however their price was a huge difference from the other two quotes that I received. Quantium was another company that I spoke with, and I was ready to use them as they were much bigger than California Solar and I thought that might be a better option, plus a neighbor had used them and were happy with them. However when I got the contract from them it basically stated that they wanted a $1000 deposit and if they found that I needed additional work and if I did not want to continue then I would loose my deposit, that seemed outrageous so I told them that I would not continue with them. Note that after I had decided to go with California Solar and Electric they told me they would give me the deposit back if that would happen, but by them I had already signed the contract with California Solar and Electric and honestly was happier with them at that point. I spoke to Mark Howe and he was excellent. I told him about Quantium and he sent me a copy of their contract and told me that they did not do that. His price was the same and the equipment was the similar. Note that they actually had to upgrade my solar panels and did not charge me any additional fees. They also did some additional work to allow more of my home to be backed up than their original quote. Mark told me that he could get the job done before the tax deadline so I signed with them. The process took a bit of time as we had to get permits and approval from the HOA. But the system was installed on time and fully completed well before the deadline. They actually worked on the installation during huge winds and rain. It did take a day or two longer to complete than what they originally thought. One of my batteries was bad out of the box and that created a bit of an issue but Henry was amazing and took care of everything quickly and professionally. He was even nice when I messed up and scanned a QR code that I thought would download a different app but it basically erased my home from my app. Note to self, double check before scanning QR codes. All in all the process was professional and was handled as quickly as possible. Communication was good even though they were swamped trying to get everyone installed before the end of the year (2025). Everyone that I dealt with was really nice and easy to work with. I think I must have driven Bella their wonderful assistant, crazy calling so often. Of course Henry had to deal with all of my questions which he handled and made me feel very comfortable. I would suggest that if you do decide to go solar, give California Solar and Electric a call and get a quote. Thanks for reading my lengthy review.

I first spoke with Levon on August 10th and informed him of exactly what I was looking for. Levon designed the exact system I was looking for and was available day and night to answer all of the questions we had regarding changes and updates to the system. Levon was extremely knowledgeable on the entire process and emailed us during every step of the process. Our system was installed on September 7th and would have been earlier if it wasn't for us delaying the project being out of town and not getting the documents back to Levon sooner. Overall even with the delays the system was installed less than 30 days after contacting Levon. The install was very smooth and the foreman for the install project explained the entire process that morning and what the next steps would be. Again everything that was explained was exactly how the process went to the very last detail. The solar inspection from the city was on September 16th and we received PTO on September 20th. Our system has been operating for almost two months now I don't have one complaint about except I wish I would've call Levon at Solar Shoppers from the beginning. If you are looking to get solar for your home I would definitely recommend getting a quote form Solar Shoppers. Of all the companies I spoke with no of them could beat Solar SHoppers price or timeline to complete the install.

He did not sell us the most expensive system but optimized to suit our current and future needs. We now own our solar and are set for years to come. The crew was more than professional, never leaving any trace that they had even been there. All conduit was painted to match our home and we are proud of the product on our property. Other companies pitched a leased solar system while Solar Shoppers provided an option that allows us to own our system and get out of the grips of SCE!

Absolutely excellent system with flawless performance. So for design and installation we give Vibe 5 stars and I would still give the new Vibe installation 5 stars still today. Richard Vermulien and Mike the Installer did top notch work. Well fall of 2025 we had some intense winds (we are in a very high wind area) and ONE of the 25 panels got a bit loose. It took a few weeks to get Mike out to do service but he added more clamps and UFO screws to hold the rogue panel down before that one rogue panel could complete it's escape. So 5 star installation AND 5 star service is what this review is all about. Vibe has been the total package. They gave us a wonderful system that has performed in extreme weather and when that extreme weather caused a panel to get loose, they came and clamped it back down at 0 cost. Would I buy from Vibe again? Yes, absolutely. You can see the video of our wind turbine furling in sustained 45mph winds with gusts to 60mph as well as a photo of some intense winds as well. The winds here are no joke (which is quite rather why we have the wind turbine in the first place). The roof is standing seam metal roof with clamps to hold the array down. Vibe delivered a perfect system and has taken amazing care of us. We generate 40kWh to 60kWh from solar alone on sunny days depending on season. The REC solar system has generated over 65MWh to date. The system has not yet paid for itself, but is saving us about $5,000 per year in electricity so it will within a few years.
