Highly recommended local electrician. I selected Kevin's bid among several other bids to update six outlets in my house. A few of my outlets simply needed replacement because they were so old (my house was built during the 1950s), and others needed to be converted from two-prong to three-prong grounded outlets. Of all the technicians I met with, Kevin was by far the most thorough. He inspected each outlet and our circuit panel and identified that there was a conduit running under the house that we could utilize. Later that day, he provided two quotes for different proposals. The proposals were super detailed. I had some follow up questions that he answered in detail. Kevin is clearly knowledgeable and I was impressed by the thoughtfulness and clarity of his explanations. I found Kevin's quotes to be competitive with other quotes I got, but above all I just trusted that Kevin's quotes were more reliable and trustworthy given how much work he did to evaluate the situation to tailor his quotes to what we needed. Other electricians gave quotes for generic proposals and I was concerned that the actual work would not be tailored to what we needed and the specific circumstances of the wiring and electric in our house (or worse that there would be surprise costs). On the actual project date, Kevin showed up on time and was super friendly to talk with. He finished about 4 hours later and we tested that the outlets work as expected. He left the work area clean when he was done. I plan to work with Kevin again for future work. I also appreciate that he's very local to me.
