WINDOWS PAYING FOR THEMSELVES Last year we bought our…read moretownhouse that has 20 windows that were 25-years-old and quickly realized that we would have to get them replaced because the temperature in our home was not able to be regulated. First we got a $25,000 estimate from a contractor who was going to use the cheapest windows on the market. Then a $46,000 estimate from Renewal by Anderson, which we almost got sucked into. Finally after much research of window brands and companies we contacted AGM Windows for an estimate. Paul contacted us quickly and came out to show us the window he uses and give us an estimate. He was so pleasant and professional to work with and quickly responded to all our questions. We got an estimate for 20 Okna 600 windows, highly rated, for a substantial amount less than the cheap windows the contractor was trying to stick us with. In addition, Paul worked with the HOA for the approval, so helpful! The installation crew was AMAZING...organized, clean, and communicative. The only reason I waited to write this review is because I wanted to see and compare our electricity bill from last year to this year and boy were these windows and company we choose a great decision. Our bill last June was $228 this June $86...now that's awesome and so is AGM Windows ;)

When we contacted him to come fix it (even offering to pay a service fee!), he denied that it was his work, offered to "service it" anyway, but has since completely ghosted myself and my husband when trying to schedule him to come fix it. A shower door should hold up longer than 2 years and this company does not stand by their work, or even won't admit it's their own work! Buyer beware.

A special shout-out to my Project Designer, who really stood out. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to understand what I was looking for rather than simply recommending a standard solution. What impressed me most was his creativity and willingness to think outside the box. He offered a design approach I hadn't considered, and it completely elevated the final look of my home. The quality of the work, attention to detail, and overall customer service were excellent. It's clear that Window District takes pride in both the product and the experience they provide. I'm very happy with the results and would absolutely recommend Window District to anyone considering new or replacement windows!

Team Windows replaced 7 windows in our Manhattan apartment and repaired several others. The quoted…read moreprice was quite high although it appears to be reasonably competitive. The quality of the new replacement windows that were installed is OK, although customers should be aware that the black frame around the window model that they use is quite wide, which noticeably reduces the size of the windows opening and the amount of light. The quality of the installation and service, however, was uneven. On the date of the initial installation they left without putting back blinds that they took down to install the windows, which required a return visit. Several of the new windows have already (within 2 months of installation) required service calls to replace trim that had fallen off. For the windows that were to be repaired rather than replaced, they did not arrive with the parts they needed. In the end they did come back to finish the work, but it took 4 visits to get it right. And they were unreliable in terms of arriving at the times they had scheduled.

The owner came to take measurements and provided us with an estimate that was both fair and reasonable for the work to be done. The crew showed up on time and was done on schedule, exactly as the time frame that was quoted to us. The crew was competent, hard working and were clearly masters at their craft. Cleanup was spotless. The windows look gorgeous and match the other units perfectly and I could not be happier! They even took down the mini blinds and put them back up; very, very professional team. My emails and phone calls were always promptly returned and any questions I had were quickly answered. The estimate for the work was exactly what I paid in the end, no hidden costs added on. I will definitely use G & L Renovations again for my future home renovation needs. I am thrilled with their workmanship and professionalism and love my new windows!

For the first installation, we had a couple of hiccups with my ordering the wrong door, door frame etc, but Peter went out of his way to make sure that everything worked out well. On this same job, he even undercharged us, and ate the cost which shows how much integrity he has. He is more than just a door installer, he made sure that our doors were up to code with the various departments (again going above and beyond) was extremely responsive whenever we had questions and concerns. The prices are also absolutely reasonable and I knew I was not getting ripped off or taken by Peter. When we choose to install two more doors, he was the first person we called. Again, it was a pleasure working with him. He didn't rush us at all, was completely patient and honest. Peter-- if you go into handwork, construction or any other sort of home repair business, please let me know and we'll be the first to hire and re-hire you! I highly recommend Emerald Doors!

He assured me that it would be a quick job, that he would get the custom door made and then installed by one of his guys, no problem. Without going into the details, it's been almost two months and I have an unpainted, wrong-sized door...and I am still waiting for the job to be completed. Throughout this saga, Peter never proactively checked in with me. He ended up dropping the project entirely and gave it to Gio. Peter did offer to refund my deposit but assured me that the project would be finished....If I hadn't been on top of Peter to see this through, I doubt he would've contacted me to give any updates. Overall, Peter was entirely unprofessional, uncommunicative and disrespectful. I appreciate that this was a small project - but why agree to take it on if they weren't able to complete it in a relatively timely matter? His colleague Gio is a nice guy, more responsive...and I'm just hoping that he'll be able to see this through and make it right. Peter certainly couldn't care less.
