It's unfortunate this place has bad reviews and I think its opinions on the casino that brought the ratings down. My review is for the hotel not the casino. Upon arrival to the entrance at Encore, it felt like I was in Vegas. Parking and Valet are free and the garage itself is spacious. I didn't have a problem finding the hotel because people are welcoming and guided us to where we needed to be. When we entered the front of the hotel there was a beautiful plant/flower garden with a flower carousel and trees that had huge pompoms and lights all around it. This place has shops, restaurants, spa, and the casino for entertainment that I didn't go to because I had a planned itinerary in Boston already. The hallway to the room is quiet. We stayed at the Harbor View Suite which is 1,300 square-foot. Gorgeous and very clean. You can control the temperature, drapes/sheer, TV, Music, and lighting with Alexa and an IPAD. In my bedroom there was a french mirror door entrance to the bathroom which has the his and her sinks, jacuzzi tub, shower with great water pressure, closets space, toilet room, and a make up area. This room is gorgeous. I didn't want to leave the bathroom. It came with so many amenities. I spent a great deal of time in the jacuzzi tub and I'm going to say, I've never been in a hotel that felt this clean and I have no complaints on their bathroom or cleanliness overall. My only complaint is that they have a fridge already fully stocked with liquor and other drinks. I stayed away because everything in there was overpriced. I wish they have a fridge for me to bring left overs as I often don't finish my meal. The living room/dining area, and my bedroom has a floor to ceiling window with a pretty sheer and also light blocking curtains. I would definitely recommend this hotel. When I go again I want to check out the stores and walk on the harbor walk or take their free boat shuttle across town. read more

Loved everything about this place, if you're looking for an overnight getaway, the rooms here are absolutely amazing to the next level. The only thing I wished is that they had more options to eat late at night as we were in town for a concert and by the time we got back to the casino, our choices to grab something to eat were extremely limited. They also need to put some seating in the lobby area as check out could take a few minutes and people with disabilities or the elderly should have someplace to sit down. This is a great place to go to mix and mingle, I didn't realize how big the place was. There were multiple floors of gambling, and there is a section for sports betting if that is your thing. I HAVEN'T stayed at the resort. However, I heard the hotel rooms are amazing, beautiful. I'm not a gambler. However, there is something for everyone here! read more

I agree with the other reviews about Encore, it was underwhelming. This luxury resort features a casino, lounge, garden, and dining experience. Most restaurants were not open during the day. The open ones, like Shake Shack, were either on the other side of the casino, which we couldn't get to because my nephew was with us. Or Garden Cafe where you have to make a reservation. There's not much going on here for people who do not gamble. The garden is the central location for a single photo op. Parking is free in the garage. Overall Service: One of the security tried to help us, lead us to an elevator, and told us to tell the other security we just need to walk through the casino to get to the restaurant. He said there shouldn't be any problems getting through. We went upstairs and the guy said no, and recommended a restaurant that was closed. We will not be coming back. read more

Clean and spacious hotel with lots of good restaurants and bars. I don't like gambling too much but had a wonderful time playing the slots for a bit with my husband. A bit perplexed by some negative reviews. My friends and I couldn't have asked for a better day yesterday (all in our early seventies). We thoroughly enjoyed the lively, friendly atmosphere in my hometown of Boston at Long Wharf Pier as well as the free shuttle with stunning views of the harbor and some incredible yachts and some lively chatter with our fellow travelers. The casino was its usual elegant and spotless self and the free drinks (Bloody Mary and Sex on The Beach) were of fine restaurant quality as were the servers who brought them. The young man at the Rewards Counter was polite and friendly as was everyone we spoke with - even an employee who escorted us to the closest restroom as we left for the day. One of my friends and I played all day on the slots - she broke even and I left $40 richer - definitely not my usual casino losses. We had to wait only 12 minutes after missing the first boat and enjoyed another lovely trip with friendly fellow patrons back to Long Wharf. All in all, a red letter day. read more

Super nice casino. A bit of pain depending on which direction you decide to travel to the casino. The place is super clean and really nice. Free parking is easy and just remember where you parked and get in the right elevator. The poker room is busy and I played the 1-3. Really good dealers but tables broke too often. Was in town and decided to stay here for a night. Honestly im so impressed. I checked in at 12 am. Was helped quickly. I stayed in a suite 5th floor. It was so spacious. Everything is hooked up to the ipad. The decor is really nice. There is a jet tub which is nice. The toilet is seperate from the shower. There is an extra bathroom as well. In the bathroom they have everything you might be missing from shower cap, hair spray, razors and more. I love that you dont have to leave. They have a casino, club and food. Beaware if you would like to do 1oclock check out they charge you $100. read more

Three and a half stars seems appropriate, as there are things to like and some areas that need improvement. First off, the property is lovely and elegant throughout. The casino, lobby and restaurants have the typical look and feel of a nice, new resort. There are attractive areas for photo backgrounds. The hotel rooms are top notch, but the industrial view out of the floor to ceiling windows took away some of the pizzazz. There were two scrutinizing security guards at each casino entrance, yet just one at the hotel elevator banks, and there was no scanning or asking for keys. Likewise with the parking garage, there are other casinos that have made me feel safer with visible and proactive security in key spots, especially in off hours. The casino has enough gaming to suit all levels of players. Drink service was consistent in the afternoon, but it mostly disappeared in the evening. I think it's a non-smoking casino. The check-in experience was so so, especially for a first-time visitor. In the morning, getting an elevator down to check out was an unpleasant adventure. There are no quick breakfast options to use your comps. You can walk back across the casino floor to the Dunkin Donuts, but they don't take comps. It's borderline insulting. If you're local, I'd say Encore would be a great place to escape a rainy day or winter day, and enjoy the gaming and restaurants. As a non-local, I don't see it as a regular destination for me. read more

This was my first visit to Encore. Not being a gambler, I went purely to curb my curiosity. I valeted upon arrival and the attendant was friendly and knowledgable in knowing what amenities were available inside. Upon entering you're greeted with a beautiful carasoul, a line of upscale stores and hotel check in before entering the casino. I ate at one of the restaurants upstairs from the slot area and would not recommend. The food lacked quality. Overpriced and unimpressed. Where do I start. I guess my opinion may be a bit tainted because of my affiliation and love with the las vegas Wynn and encore property's. I honestly feel like this location is a franchise. Not working to hard at keeping the vision and culture Steve Wynn instilled in his company and his people years ago. So I know I was in Boston. I know vegas is a bit outside the box when it comes to city's and entertainment. But it's the basics I think that the Boston harbor property may be lacking. For example. Here's how I left the property on Monday am at 5. We were ready to go. Had 6 prices of luggage and our carryons. Called down at 4:40 am to get a bellman. The operator said they will be right up. I waited for 15 minutes and called back again. The nice operator said I'm putting you on hold for a second and I will check. He came back, apologized and said the porters for luggage don't start until 6 am. I said that can't be. It will take me three trips to get this stuff down. I said send me to the front desk. Hold again. Then he comes back and says I'm sorry but there's only one front desk attendant and there with a customer. Then he said they found a doorman to come up. So we waited another 10 minutes for him to show. We loaded together, he had a hard time lifting, we went down stairs. So of course my first stop was the front desk where I gave them a motivational speech on how unacceptable it is for this hotel to not have porters at 5 am. One of the 2 desk attendants, (the operator said only one), apologized and said they went on break early. I said so there are porters. She said yes. They just weren't available. So in total disgust I left. Not the last impression Mr Wynn would ever want his guest leaving with. Additional issues , room service ends promptly at 10 pm. They tell no one. Had to find out on my own. You have to use the app to order they don't take calls at in-room dining. Makes it difficult for dietary needs. In order to get into Red 8 restaurant with a Minor you have to go to a back door and call on the phone. We did. Nobody would answer. Took 10 minutes. Steak house is good. Not great. Has a lot of S.W. Steakhouse at the Wynn dna. Just not great. I had pork chops night before we left. They were over cooked as well as the asparagus. The breakfast place was ok. Service was really slow. Bread came no butter. Took forever. Had to remake bread. Food was subpar. Then Sunday. Went down early for bfast. Told us 45 minute wait. There were empty tables everywhere. I think it was a staffing issue. Location is a bit of a nuisance. But that can't be changed. The positives are the staff was incredibly nice and helpful wwhen they could be. The property is beautiful and the price is, comparably speaking, inexpensive. Room we stayed in was stunning. The housekeeping was prompt and thorough. The doorman Kamal was awesome. I started this review with, I may be tainted. I think I should retract that. I'm the guest you want to hear from. I'm the experienced advocate of the Wynn property's. Your repeat customer who tends to refer people to you over and over again. What do you have to do to fix this. First, communicate. Lots I had no idea about. Like room service. 10 pm. I guess if it was disclosed up front I would have been dissatisfied but ok. It's communication that improves your guests experience or the lack of that destroys it. I hope the next time we come some of my suggestions are taken seriously and fixed. read more

Enjoyed walking through and visiting this casino. Definitely matches the vibe of the one in Vegas and like the overall feel. It was packed for the pre holiday weekend and super busy so it was nice to see everyone enjoying themselves. Next time I'll have to attend a show and try a different restaurant. Rooms: the rooms are amazing not sure i would pay for them out of pocket for $600+ per night but overall probably one of the best hotel room's I've stayed in, in America. Casino floor: roulette table is pretty fun and the workers are nice. Craps table is fun and the workers are super helpful/fun there most of the time. Only downfall is that drinks take forever! Sucks when you are having a good time and you can't enjoy a drink. Many folks at our craps table actually left to go to the bar and buy a drink because the rounds took so long even after your order was taken it could be 30 minutes. They were smart to reduce the prices to $15 per play as the evenings was more enjoyable to hang around compared to how they started with $50 and $25 per play. read more

If I could live here forever I would. It is everything I love in terms of interior design. I've been staying here a few nights a month for the past year. Every time I check in, the girls would remember my preference before even looking at the system to see! I love their gym and salon. Jen is an amazing hair colorist and Van, the nail technician is just adorable and kind! They remember stories I tell them and I feel like we're friends more than just a customer. This is the level of excellent customer service the staff provide here. Even the Wynn Collection store, the girls there makes the best recommendations and would text me when new items come in that they think I'd like. Outside of the premise has a great, quiet, and tranquil walking path. The dock was not available to the public when I first tried but after the pandemic, you can. It's just so convenient. I can dock my boat there, drive or even take their 30 minutes frequent shuttle bus. Also, during TD Garden game nights, they provide shuttle buses there too! I used to love Red 8, as of late, the food wasn't as good as before, because the head chef was fired but it's still alright. The staff are friendly and would always bring a little chair for my purse and address me by my name, making me feel like wow, they remember me. On Deck is amazing! Garden Cafe was great too but they closed now. I just love this place. Though, it can get pricey, especially when you gamble and lose. But gamble what you're willing to lose! :) read more

HUGE! Beautiful, super clean. But its a casino. EXPENSIVE. NOISY. Located in a dump of an area. Good restaurants. We had an awesome Asian experience and accepted the price tag with gratitude because it is in the Boston area and it is a casino and we aren't comped high rollers. Got it out of my system. I'm not a gambler, so I don't know if I will come back with my husband, since it was a mom-son date on this visit. The drive is MISERABLE. Really liked it here - although the dealer at the roulette table I played at was really specific, and annoying. Beautifully decorated - reminded me of the one in Vegas, and would like to come back when there is more time. We took an uber and were dropped right at the front door which was nice - large carnival style theme with flowers everywhere. Looked really new to me - carpets weren't worn by any stretch and there were plenty of tables and a large casino area. I will say due to covid the buffet was closed, the nightclub was also closed, and some of the changes were due to the same. Tables have plexiglass so you can't be right on top of one another - all betting has to be done before the spin, and the dealer handles all the betting. I liked it. I would recommend it. read more

Encore is super boujee! The entrance lobby has beautiful decorations. Bags are not allowed in the casino - there's a bag check fee of $5. The casino is huge and has 2 floors. There's a ton of restaurants at encore that I want to try. There is free self parking as well as valet parking. The hotel and casino are both very clean. Overall rating: 10/10 read more

The crazy red floral carpet, red glass twisting and cascading chandeliers, the hotel concierges and the room finishes... wow!! However... most people go for the casino. A few weeks ago, my friends and I visited Boston. I had heard that Encore recently opened up and was excited to check it out! Came here around 9pm on a Saturday night and it was extremely packed--just the car traffic getting into the complex was insane. As you pull into the Encore property, you instantly are overwhelmed by how beautiful the outside decor is, as if you were in Vegas (it looks almost exactly like the Encore in Vegas). Once you step inside, the decor is just as beautiful--great for pictures! The casino itself was nice, your typical new casino bougie look. The center ground floor bar was super packed and the service there was so slow. We went upstairs to the bar across from the club, and there was a line just to get in! I didn't find any other bars in the casino area. It appeared that majority of the tables (I play blackjack) were $50 minimum bets--for the average person, that's a bit high in my opinion. I was able to find an empty seat to play blackjack! Luckily a cocktail waitress passed by and i was able to order a drink--if you are gambling, the drinks are free, but my drink took a long time to come out. My friend who was standing next to my seat tried to order a drink and was willing to pay for it since she wasn't gambling, but the cocktail waitress said "No". That's crazy! This casino is clean and visually nice, but their service could be much improved. read more

To the eye, the room is beautiful. Bed was comfortable, amenties were nice. However, the room smelled deeply of cleaning products and I could smell cigarette smoke in the pillows. I was hoping to enjoy the tub but found multiple pieces of hair in it - then the shower somehow leaked all over the floor. Ended up leaving and not spending the night.
