I've been to the Encore in Vegas. But haven't been to the one in Boston. So I had to visit this place during my business trip. Now ... when I walk into casinos, I expect to smell smoke / cigars and drink rowdy folks. NOT THIS PLACE!! This place is rich. You walk into here, and you smell the pure fresh oxygen and you just feel like you're the king. Pure opulence. Beautiful place. No smoking! Plenty of places to gamble. High stakes poker upstairs where folks are dialed in and not even drinking. You CANNOT bring luggage and backpacks into the casino. The front check in will hold for you though ($5) if you aren't a guest. Also the slot machines take cash so you cannot use your credit or debit card. This place is just rich rich rich. It was a totally different atmosphere compared to the one in Vegas. It's more ... quiet and relaxing compared to the chaos and loud noise in Vegas. Ok, I have read some other reviews so let's get this out of the way. I was here for a conference and LOVED the hotel room and conference space and bathrooms near the conference rooms. This isn't about the casino. I wasn't there to gamble and we have two bigger casinos near me in CT, so I wouldn't drive to Boston just for this casino. But, the hotel room was spacious and just wonderful to spend 3 nights in! We did pay $25 for our stay (not per night) to have a fridge delivered to our room as the one that's always in the room is stocked with things for purchase, there isn't even room for a water bottle or two like we've seen in some other hotels. There's a nespresso machine in the room with virtuo pods, just like I have at home. The bathroom has a tub, separate from the shower, two sinks and a door to the toilet so your partner/friend can use the bathroom while you're using the toilet. The TV was a good size and on an arm that swung further than most to watch TV while in bed. The windows took up the whole wall and had great room-darkening curtains as well as sheers, and all of it was controlled by Alexa! I'd totally stay here again and enjoy the comfort and spaciousness of the room, even if you don't spend more for the city view! The toiletries are re-stocked daily if you use them, which I wasn't expecting. I forgot my toothbrush and was happy to find one (along with many other things) in the bathroom, and was surprised to open the drawer looking for something else a couple days later only to find another toothbrush in the drawer! So, yeah, 5 stars for the hotel. We gambled very little and lost, so umm that's not what the stars are for. Though, if it's your first time getting the rewards card or whatever it's called, you do get $50 free play for signing up, so there's that. read more

This is a beautiful resort, both outside and inside. Very ornate decor everywhere. Plush carpet, beautiful lighting and furnishings all over the resort and the casino. We did a staycation here for a weekend in March a couple years ago and it was amazing. Our room was huge and so comfortable- nice bed, couch and there was also a dining table by the window where we ate breakfast. The bathroom was gigantic with double sink, huge tub separate shower and all luxury amenities. We ate at several restaurants and food was good. The casino certainly gets very busy on Saturday. It was fun to just walk around and watch all the different games being played. Yesterday we went to the Memoire nightclub. Self parking in the underground garage was free which was awesome. It was very crowded though so a bit tough to find spots. We got in right around at 10 when the club opens so was fairly quick and easy to get in. Don't forget to bring ID as the casino and nightclub are 21+ DJ and music was great, we had a fun time overall! read more

Beautiful resort and casino on the border of Everett and Boston. Lots of space in the parking garage below the casino. I came here to celebrate my birthday and had a blast. There are lots of slot machines and tables to keep you busy day and night. It was my first time playing here and my birthday so I got a $50 complimentary reward. I didn't get a chance to explore them much but there are also many restaurants here and a few high-end stores. Does it beat Foxwoods in CT... absolutely not. Is it an absolutely beautiful addition to the beautiful city of Boston... absolutely. Highly recommend, come give it a shot! read more

This is a great casino with a great selection of slots and tables. We had no problem finding easy and close parking on a Tuesday. I am sure it gets cramped on weekends and holidays as it is comparably smaller than other casinos. Staff were friendly and helpful. The smoke free environment is awesome and a great break from the other smoked out casinos. A few machines had broken play buttons and the light glare from the ceilings can make some machines a bit harder to truly enjoy. It's a quieter casino and I noticed that the sound was turned to low/off on each machine I went to. So if you enjoy the sound of the slots, turn up the volume. I came around 2am to blow some money I made at work at the blackjack table. Ended up having a great time with my table mates, laughter all around, until a bald man in a suit named Kevin told one woman to quiet down her celebration or he'd have her removed (not sure how it was louder than any of the rest of us but we moved on). We continued enjoying ourselves for another 30ish minutes until Kevin appeared again saying she is asking for it because of her swearing (a single f*ck was said after she lost post-double down). His weird obsession with the women at our table made all 6 strangers inclined to leave. I show up to encore to lose money, I enjoy it. This time, because of Kevin, I left +325 in 90 minutes at a $25 min table(I've never left with money before haha). Another table proceeded to scream and swear, when a stranger at our table pointed it out Kevin looked directly at me (I was unrelated to situation but also only woman remaining at table) and said he'd explain himself but I clearly wouldn't understand. Anyways, 3rd time at encore clearly a bust experience wise but positive money wise. I would have much rather left -300 and enjoyed the company of my blackjack table. Stayed here for a work conference and boy, the rooms, the casino floor, the check in desk, the little information counter, conference rooms, bars, nothing disappointed. The room was perfect, bed, pillows, bathroom, large bathtub, it felt like a vacation even though I was there for work. The conference rooms and meeting rooms we were in were all great, the back outdoor grounds where we met for happy hour were green and inviting. This is only rated for our hotel stay in the signature harbor view suite. Everything about this room screams luxury and was very well thought out. The whole place was immaculately clean, seriously not a speck of dust anywhere. We will definitely be staying here whenever we're back in Boston. This suite is 1350sqft, 2 bathrooms and the main bathroom connecting to the bedroom is such a DREAM; Jacuzzi tub, double vanity, separate room for the toilet, and the shower pressure is so phenomenal I could cry. Literally it felt like a massage while you shower. The room service was one of the best I have experienced anywhere else, it was super quick and the food was cooked and seasoned beautifully!! The yolk on the Benny is prepared better than most top rated brunch places known for their bennies! The room controls are all touch pad and could also be controlled by Alexa as well, very futuristic! There's two iPads that you could do everything on from ordering room service, requesting additional towels to checking out, so convenient! Self park is free and Valet parking is only $5 each time. Encore boston is such a beautiful luxurious hotel and casino. My husband and I were only in town one night, but we did not want to leave! Every detail inside and out was top notch. The grounds outside and decor inside are stunning. Every employee is polished, kind, attentive and professional. The smoke free casino is so vibrant with plenty of food and drink options. (Our favorite was the hidden speakeasy!) Most impressive of all was how massive the "basic" hotel room and bathrooms are. I felt like a celebrity staying there. This is a nice place unfortunately there seems to be some corner cutting since the last time I stayed here. I am not a gambler but am attending a professional conference and the venue is well chosen. Parking is easy and gratis, and there are electric chargers everywhere if you need them. My room is excellent well stocked and housekeeping is top notch. I have a great view of the harbor and City of Boston. Many of the bars and restaurants are closed or only open on a limited schedule. For example the Rare steakhouse is only open Thurs-Sun, I am here Mon-Weds. the second floor lobby restaurant is closed I used to like having breakfast there. Other eateries in the Conference wing were not open. The only explanation is that they are closed. Covid is not an excuse anymore. I did eat in the Rare Lounge. A nice bar but the food was not as great as I remember it. They seem to be directing everyone to eat in the places actually located in the casino. The lodging was excellent, ambiance high-endy, but restaurants and food service so-so. However, I would say that the conference food service was very good. Where do i begin? i loved this place, i would book here several times a year as a nice getaway. the rooms are clean and spacious. i could t say enough good about this place until yesterday. i booked through priceline, i am taking accountability for not adding the protection on the reservation but ive never needed it. on 1/25 massachusetts is in a state of emergency and i tried several times to cancel my reservation today. i spoke with proceline twice and also encore. i asked if i could reschedule it if a cancellation wasn't available. when i spoke to encore first time the last at the front desk was so rude. her tone was loud and talk to me like i was stupid. the second time i called begging for some sort of help Karen at the front desk wasn't as rude but told me there were several notes in the system saying to not cancel my reservation. i asked how many exactly and she said two. i only spoke to encore once before. i respectful got off the phone and was so upset. $265 gone bc i could not physically get to the hotel with the blizzard. need to mention again how many times i book here?? probably 15/20 times a year. if you are thinking of booking here i would really think twice. the customer service was atrocious! read more

Yes, the excitement of a casino in the Boston area is great but the restaurants are extremely overpriced for the quality of food and service. I have been to every restaurant in each restaurant. The weight staff is extremely rude, and pompous. When you ask for a management, you get the same entitlement. The main bar on the casino floor is an absolute nightmare. The bartenders are again extremely rude to the point where they make you feel like you're bothering them and if you don't give a good enough tip, they have no problem shouting it to you. The nightclub gives off a very unsafe vibe. read more

One hugely large and busy property. Location wise this worked for us, but it is on the "other" side of the harbor. They do have a free water taxi to /from the North End and also from Fenway (not to Fenway). They also have free parking, which is unusual for downtown Boston properties. The rooms are excellent and upgrades are plentiful, just ask. Make sure you get a red "Wynn Card" in advance (online). It provides other discounts. Everyone we ran into from the Encore Team was 5*. That's nice to see. There are plenty of places to eat if that is what you want. I won a couple hundred dollars, but I can't really speak to the casino part of the property. It was busy, clean, and no smoking. Would we return? FOR SURE, if it fits into our geographic needs. read more

I stayed in Andover, MA for 2 nights for a wedding and was able to get away with my wife for a few hours for some slot play. I was very impressed by their casino floor. Lots of fun games! Very clean, nice staff. The only problem I had was getting a drink, I ordered twice but both times they never came back ( i waited about 5-7 minutes the first time and the second time I was there around 15-20 minutes) I was still delightfully surprised over how much fun games they had. We stayed here for a night just to check it out. We mostly play random slots like the planet moolah one and don't really gamble for real. The hotel is nice but definitely on a much smaller scale than Vegas hotels, as expected. The lobby has a cool flower carousel and decorations reminiscent of the Wynn and encore in Vegas, but the flower balls seem more muted. The casino is pretty big, and busy on a weekend night. Parking is ample and free. We were excited for free ev charging, but that was very limited and the only open spots were out of service so that was a bummer. Our hotel room was nice but I kind of wish we had upgraded to harbor view. They do give free drinks if you are gambling. It takes them quite a while to come back sometimes, but they do eventually. I wish there was a pool. The food options seem kind of limited but there's always shake shack for a good quick meal. Overall a slightly sad shadow of the wynn and encore in Vegas, but we might come once in a while. read more

My first time gambling at this establishment proved to be lucrative fun that paid for itself plus a little extra! We enjoyed 7 hours playing slots, watching the craps tables attempting to figure out how to play which we never actually played but had a blast watching others-it really is a pretty interactive game experience much like a sporting event with lots of cheering and occasional heated disagreements and contact with dice thrown aggressively with a technique un perfected by any player seen tonight and extra entertaining. Slots were where it was at with a variety of different games and bet options that offer considerable prizes and odds. The atmosphere is beautiful giving the feel of entering a resort separated from the rest of the world lined with beautiful trees lit up with white lights and a balcony view for the smokers. It wasn't incredibly inconvenient to smoke outside but it would have been nice if they had turned the heaters on for us as it was entertaining watching the disaster of the driving situation around there at certain points of the night, particularly when the different clubs let out. We made the mistake of postponing dinner and our options were limited to Italian or shake shack which we opted for and wasn't awful but $50 for 2 burgers and shakes is insane regardless of where it's located if I'm standing to order and getting my own food after fending off crowds trying to make your table a communal eating experience-we realized after, the dining area wasn't packed with patrons eating as much as people watching the UFC fight on the multiple big screen tvs in said area. Very eclectic crowd and different levels of sophistication allows for patrons to dress as casual or fancy as they feel depending what they are looking to make out of the evening. Parking was not so easy but after finding someone to stalk to their vehicle successfully, we were on the floor in a little under an hour of searching for a parking spot around 8:30 pm. Waitresses seemed to be in abundance on the gambling floor upon arrival and became scarce shortly after until around midnight and again at 2ish. I was just looking for a water and happy that they had them readily available once able to find someone. Looking forward to going back soon to take advantage of the free entries earned from signing up for the casino card(missed out on the free $50 play promotion because of timing but earned $10 in comp $ on top of my gambling winnings). Check in not as great. 2500 group for conference, coming in from all over country, let us check in early instead of wandering hotel like hobos after hours of early day travel. The Encore is a flashy, maximalist Las Vegas luxury resort and casino, that has somehow made it to Boston Harbor. Located 10 minutes from downtown, the hotel is close enough for a quick commute into the city, but far enough away that it does feel quite secluded. I'll be honest: I booked a 3 night stay here because it was the only 5 star hotel in Boston available for under $800/night on the days I was visiting. In fact, I only spent $500/night for the cheapest room here. Upon arrival, I received a complimentary upgrade to a 2 Bedroom Family Suite. Score! The room was, by far, the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in. At 10,000+ square feet, it felt like a classic Vegas suite. My mom, sister, and brother stayed with me, and we all had total privacy and our own bathrooms (yes, there are 3 bathrooms in this suite). There was lots of natural light, modern amenities, comfortable beds, and endless thoughtful details. Parking was complimentary. The lobby is in the exact style of the Vegas property, filled with rainbow florals, a Ferris wheel, and whimsical garden themed decor. There are several restaurants, bars, and lounges on the property, in addition to a sprawling casino of course. Areas of improvement include room service, which was absurdly overpriced and lacking in quality. The ferry should run more frequently. Better soundproofing for rooms; hearing airplanes every 10 minutes was unpleasant. Additionally, our doorbell sounded like the alarm from The Purge. Critiques aside, this is a great hotel for the price. read more

Encore is definitely a nice looking casino, with plenty of dining options. I am happy that it is non-smoking. Coming during the week, it was easy to get a seat at any game I wanted to play. Even though I personally find newer casinos to be much more tight with their payouts. I would consider staying here if there was a deal, but otherwise, I might pop in again sometime in the future and stay elsewhere as they didn't have much going on while we were there. read more

We decided to try this property because the hotels in Boston near the Charles were booked and prices were ridiculous. For similar cost, we decided it was worth the ten min Uber ride back and forth to the city. We have stayed at the one in Vegas and loved it. You drive through an industrial area and come to this beautiful and peaceful property. Highly recommend. There was a line at checkin but moved steadily with three people at the front desk. Everyone is courteous and friendly. Love that it is a non smoking hotel. There is also a free shuttle to and from Chinatown every twenty mins. And, a boat shuttle to and from - we did not try the boat shuttle. Would stay again. read more

Superb hotel in the Boston area. I stayed here while attending the Front End of Innovation conference last week and had a wonderful time. The room was luxurious with a working desk, plenty of storage, and an amazing view. The bathroom was large and comfortable with both a shower stall and a tub. The hotel itself was clean and well organized, including the convention center facilities, especially the Picasso conference rooms and the outdoor tent on the South Lawn where I had my sessions. It's crazy expensive to a degree that should be illegal but damn if it isn't a great time every time I've been.

We decided to check-out the Encore Casino and get dinner at Fratelli's inside of the Encore. As I mentioned, be sure you have a valid ID. They card everyone prior to entering the casino floor. This Encore casino is NON-SMOKING, so it's actually a breath of fresh air. They also infuse their "signature scent" into the air. They do offer cocktail service, however I noticed the consistency and service was hit or miss. They offer a massive selection of slot machines in multiple denominations. You literally have slots on two floors of the ginormous casino! We came on a Tuesday evening and the place was absolutely SLAMMED for a week night! In addition to slots, they offer a huge selection of table games. You'll find Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, etc. The night we visited all tables were $25-$50/hand. I have seen them as low as $15/hand. They are the official Resort and Casino for the Bruins and Celtics! The Sportsbook is fairly large and is a sweet spot to catch a game! I plan to come enjoy a game here before the end of the Celtics season! The resort is a bit sparse on dining options, which could be greatly improved. We went to Fratelli for dinner. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't worth the price asked. We also found the servers a touch rude. They have a Wine & Cheese Bar, Steakhouse, and Fratelli. After a certain hour, you literally cannot get anything to eat. They can only serve alcohol until 4AM. They need to offer a 24/7 option, as all Vegas casinos offer. They could easily institute a small cafe with pastries, sandwiches, etc. It may be different if you're staying in a room. I have not stayed in the Encore rooms here, so I can't comment on that. However, I have stayed in the rooms in Las Vegas and they're incredible. Every detail imagined. There will be a new Seafood concept opening soon, so that will help bolster the dining options available. I still feel a 24/7 spot for a late-night bite should be instituted. They do have a solid gift shop for toiletries, candles/fragrances, jewelry, tech items, clothes, snacks, beverages, and freshly-prepared sandwiches and salads. Lastly, valet is $5. It's well worth that. If you have a players card, it's FREE. In the valet office you can insert your license into a kiosk and it'll print out your card. If you smoke, you just smoke outside. They do have heaters in designated areas so you won't freeze while getting that nic fix. I'd highly suggest the Encore for those looking for a fun staycation. It truly feels like you're at their main property in Las Vegas. However, I will say it is mainly a locals casino. I don't see "whales" coming here just to play high-limit in Everett! They keep the place incredibly clean and security is wonderful at ensuring a safe environment. Zero tolerance for people who are fighting, intoxicated, etc. They do have a police dog and they don't tolerate a fake ID. 21+ Only. They will check it with a machine. Dining is also the same rule, 21+. This is because the restaurant is located inside the casino floor. That means it's 21+. Leave the kiddos with a sitter. I'll certainly be back to try the new Seafood concept when it opens. I also look forward to playing some blackjack and enjoying the sports book before the NBA season ends! We also loved the seasonal floral display when you first walk in! You'll spend plenty of time snapping photos of that alone! It is truly magnificent! You must see it in person! read more

Encore Sports Book Review only. I went on a busy Saturday night for a 7:30pm college football game. First, parking was free and easy. Traffic another story. The Sports Book was not crowded. 6:30- 10:30pm- not more than 50% occupied tops. I sat my self at a high top table, ordered Shake Shack for dinner - they text you when ready. No line. Short line to wager and collect on the game, yes I won. Strange fact: No one in four hours asked me nor anyone else seated there if anyone would like a cocktail. A bar was within eyesight. read more
