Didn't expect to find a casino in Boston. Glad there is one in Boston. The great thing about this one is that you don't have to pay for parking like how it is in Vegas. The inside is so beautiful and elegant. Lots of slot machines and table games. Walking around the casino feels like you are in Vegas. There are several restaurants inside. We were driving around Boston and discovered this casino by accident. Glad we decided to stop by. From what we can see from passing through, it is a great place to gamble. Will definitely stop in again when we visit Boston in the future. If you like to gamble and are visiting Boston, you should check them out.

Absolutely fabulous Hotel Casino to stay in in Boston staff a one place is great clean plenty of stuff to do if you gamble or Shop a few nice restaurants and it is a good looking place to be in completely clean and nice. I would totally go back for a respite for a spa treatment or just to walk around Boston if I needed to thank you so much for the great service.

What a beautiful Casino Resort property (Wynn Resorts) here in Massachusetts. It really feels like you are in Las Vegas. It is not too far from the Logan International Airport and other fun attractions. This location offers free self-parking daily. Sign up for a free reward and get $50 slot or table game. I chose the table games. I was lucky to play twice and won $50 roulette table. I did not stay long and was able to glance the floor quickly. They have fine dinings and retails stores. In the future, I will check out the property such harbor walk... Highly recommended.

This hotel was great. The rooms are the size of a small apartment. The Alexa controlled room is a nice touch. The view was nice but not what I reserved. The beds are super comfortable. Only four stars since I was not given the room I had reserved and my travel companion received an "upgrade " to the room I reserved. For the price I paid I should have gotten what I reserved.

A beautiful resort/casino. The lobby decor is picture perfect. There's also a harborwalk outside which is really lovely for a stroll. The parking garage has four levels and can actually get pretty full when it's busy. Note that minors are required to use the resort elevators which bypass the casino. The casino itself is really big; make sure you don't miss the second floor! The casino and the washrooms are clean. A huge variety of machines. Lots of food choices ranging from cheap (Dunkin') to high end steakhouses. Even when the parking lot is full, the casino doesn't feel insanely crowded because it's spacious enough. For new players, there is a $50 freeplay promotion when you sign up. The only con is that we did find that the elevators were kind of slow. Casino shuttles (buses and water shuttles) are available.

Stunning casino. Feels like a Vegas. Clean rooms, courteous staff, and a ton of college kids. Still high energy and fun vibes. Good choice of table games and slots.

SPOILER ALERT: We're Not Casino People. After a long and exhausting day helping our daughter going from one furniture store to the next in the Boston area to hook up her duplex, my husband and I needed a place to rest our heads for the night. Encore in Everett- just under 15 minutes from Boston was our winner for a Wednesday to Thursday stay. I can't tell you if Encore is a small-scale casino or otherwise because my husband and I never got into gambling. But, the hotel side of it is grand, colorful and fun all mixed into one. My husband booked the room online and check-in was smooth. The front desk staff handed us our key card and gave us a quick rundown of the hotel's amenities and services. The corridors are wide and open- avoiding that cramped hotel hallway feel. Hubs and I were immediately impressed by our room. It was spotless and beautifully decorated, with a welcoming and luxurious vibe. The crisp white bedding, a spacious bathroom with a separate toilet and vanity, and thoughtfully chosen furniture all made the room feel complete and comfortable. The snacks are nice- though they come at a price. To our surprise, we were upgraded to the 20th floor, which gave us nice views of the Boston Harbor. The room also included a tablet to control lighting and drapes- and Alexa was on hand too. From the attention to detail to the cleanliness and comfort, Encore left a lasting impression. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when visiting our daughter. These folks spared no expense to create a standout experience.

Would have gave them a 5 star if their service was better. This hotel is beautiful but service was mediocre. I was in a suite and the hotel room itself is top notch. They had nice bath products and amenities in the room. Very clean and spacious. They have iPads that control the room settings. The jacuzzi was nice and they even had a bath pillow. The service was not consistent and they don't celebrate special occasions for their guests. Check in and check out was monotone and didn't ask how our stay was.

Our stay at the Encore Boston Harbor was outstanding. The hospitality skills of the entire staff were noticeable from check-in through departure -- friendly, polished, and genuinely helpful. One of the biggest surprises was how convenient the harbor boat transportation was to the Long Wharf area. It made getting into Boston easy while still allowing us to return to a much quieter and more spacious property at the end of the day. We did Uber in the mornings and prices can vary for that depending on when you go. We had as low as $8.50 into the $40 range quoted. The biggest differences compared to staying directly in Boston are the huge rooms, the luxury feel, and the convenience of having a full casino and multiple restaurants all on site. After spending the day in the city, it was wonderful to come back to such a spacious, upscale atmosphere. Our room was a king suite with a sofa (appeared to be a sleeper) and an enormous bathroom - double sinks, seated vanity, water closet, soaking tub and large shower. Housekeeping and turn down service were excellent. The rooms are iPad controlled smart rooms. It wasn't the best bedding (mattress, pillows, linens) but was very comfortable. The decor style isn't exactly what I would personally choose -- it definitely leans toward classic casino luxury -- but everything is beautifully maintained and feels high-end. If you don't mind being just outside the city itself and want a casino (the spa menu looks fabulous though I didn't use) experience, this place is honestly an unexpected gem.

I booked this hotel because we were arriving after a 15 hour flight from Japan & arrived in Boston too late to continue on to Martha's Vineyard, plus I wanted a massage in the morning before checking out. American Express offered a good rate, including $150 spa credit! When we arrived, we were taken aback by the "Las Vegas" vibes. However, EVERYONE we interacted with turned out to be friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and great at their job. From Johnny who checked us in, to the wonderful Bellhop who brought our baggage, explained the room & got us ice, to Angel who was our server at breakfast, to the efficient & professional, bartenders at Rare steakhouse, to my wonderful masseuse Siobhan, everyone was outstanding. The room was large and comfortable and very clean, our view was lovely, and the bed was comfortable. Absolutely no complaints!

Such a beautiful hotel - the lobby is stunning with fresh flower displays. The rooms are very nice, high-tech with Alexa, and clean. Multiple restaurants and shops inside the hotel. Highly recommend!

The drive to Plumb Island through Newburyport was the perfect introduction to our romantic, north shore getaway. Being from Phoenix, we look forward to our cold, winter adventure each year and neither of us had been anywhere north of Boston before. Before our arrival, communication with the Blue was informative and hand a personal feel. Obviously, the Blue caters to summer beach-goers, and the reserved parking area near the hotel would definitely be a huge plus for folks competing for parking spots, but in winter, there are very few people or cars on the entire island. The Blue is a quaint little hotel nestled on the beach in a neighborhood of New England beach homes. We were happily greeted at the front desk by Blue staff and the General Manager. They tendered to our every need and surprised us with a fabulous fruit and chocolate anniversary gift waiting for us in the room. The room was beautiful with a classic and modern beach feel. Sliding glass doors open up to a wooden deck with a fabulous view of the Atlantic Ocean. We could hear the crashing waves while sitting inside beside the gas fireplace to read. It was magical! Also magical was the bed! We haven't slept that well in years! The bed was so comfortable and my wife loved the pillows so much that she bought the very same ones for home the day we returned. And don't forget the two hot tubs! There is nothing quite as enjoyable as relaxing in a steaming, bubbling hot tub while it's snowing all around you. Honestly, the "hot tubs available" filter was probably what highlighted the Blue to me during my search for this trip. One hot tub is on the second floor deck, overlooking the beach and the second is hidden under the pine trees at the end of a short sidewalk across the street from the main building. Both were large enough for probably 6 people, clean and well maintained. Again, it was February so we had them all to our crazy selves the whole week. The beach is beautiful! There is direct, private access from the second floor of the Blue, via a wooden boardwalk. The beach is sandy with very few rocks. I didn't see any seaweed or anything washing up on shore, but it was February, so I didn't expect to see a whole lot of anything living coming out of the water. Every morning we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise over the ocean while we drank some local coffee delivered direct to the room. Oh yeah, breakfast! Each morning the staff dropped off and adorable wicker basket with fresh, local breakfast offerings plus that wonderful carafe of coffee. We had different breakfast each day, to include quiche, overnight oats, fresh fruit, biscuits, and bacon. Just the right amount for the two of us and we couldn't wait to see what breakfast surprise would arrive each morning. Although Plumb Island may feel remote from the business of the Boston-metro area, the location was great for dipping down to Salem without hitting any traffic, or popping up to New Hampshire for a sleighride through the forest. One morning, after a small nor'easter blew through, our SUV got stuck in the parking lot snow. No worries! The General Manager of the Blue came out to hail down a plow and personally helped push us out. Now that's service! Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend the Blue -Inn on the Beach to anyone looking for a romantic beach getaway. If you're looking for a less Metropolitan vacation with the proximity to get to Boston in under an hour, the Blue can't be beat. We will definitely be coming back. Maybe even in the summer next time!

My experience has been consistently positive, which is why I wanted to provide some balance after reading a few reviews that I don't believe reflect the overall experience. The biggest draw is, of course, the location. The oceanfront rooms are wonderful, and waking up to the sound and view of the Atlantic never gets old. I was especially happy to see that there is now an excellent restaurant on the first floor (independently owned, not operated by the resort). It's a great addition for dinner. I also highly recommend The Parrot for lunch or dinner and The Saltwater Diner for breakfast. We've returned to both many times and have never been disappointed. Hull itself isn't a destination with endless attractions, but that's exactly why I go. If you're looking for a peaceful beach getaway, it's perfect. If you're traveling with children under about 10 years old for several days, however, they may run out of things to do beyond the beach. My grandchildren love swimming, but after a few hours they're ready for other activities, so we will wait until they're older before bringing them for an overnight stay. Over the years, I've never had problems with the front desk, the cleanliness of the rooms, or parking. On one visit, our air conditioning stopped working, but maintenance repaired it the very same day. The staff also immediately offered to move us to another room if we preferred not to wait, which I thought was excellent customer service. I've noticed some complaints about parking. The covered parking is reserved for condominium owners, and it's clearly marked as such. Resort guests use the designated outdoor parking area. In all my years of visiting, I've always found a parking space without difficulty. I've also seen just a few complaints about the indoor pool. Personally, I can't imagine choosing an indoor pool when one of New England's most beautiful beaches is just steps away. The beach and ocean are the reasons we come. After 15 years of annual visits, I continue to recommend Nantasket Beach Resort without hesitation. For anyone looking for a relaxing oceanfront getaway with comfortable accommodations and friendly service, it has been a wonderful choice for us year after year.

I was left with eye rolls, and monotone attitudes. I kept being asked why we do not want to stay, just for a nasty glare in return, only to be asked the same question 3 more times still being met with unfriendly looks. I asked for proof of a refund once she said she "processed" it. Turns out she did not process it because she needed to ask the manager how to even go about doing it. So who knows if I would have gotten my money back if I hadn't asked for the confirmation. Do not stay here.

First off, charging $20 for parking is already frustrating--but what makes it worse is that they don't even check or monitor vehicles after charging you. It feels like an unnecessary fee with no real purpose. Then there's the water park. At around $100 per person, you'd expect a comfortable and enjoyable experience, but instead it was extremely overcrowded. It was hard to actually enjoy anything because of how packed everything was. The food is another issue--very overpriced for what you get. You end up spending way more than expected just to feed your family. One of the worst parts was the check-in process for the water park. We waited about 30 minutes just to get wristbands. That's unacceptable, especially when you've already paid so much. There should absolutely be a better system in place--like separate lines for hotel guests and day pass visitors to make things move faster. Overall, the experience did not match the price at all. Between the extra fees, long waits, and overcrowding, I don't think I will be going there again.

BUYER BEWARE-READ BEFORE BOOKING and learn from our experience:…read moreI'm not gonna sit here and write to not stay at this motel - the room itself was just as advertised, clean, roomy and comfortable, updated bathroom (shower wasn't cleaned well, but that's minor in comparison to the rest of our experience) BUT- do not expect to have any assistance after their lobby closes. They advertise an "after hours number" they DO NOT answer. We stayed here for one night and went out on the strip until around 10pm and when we returned we realized we forgot our key in the room. We went to the front desk which was locked and dark. To preface this I completely understand it's on us for forgetting a key. But, no answer on any of the 3 phone lines provided and one was specifically for "guests only, after hours" after a couple hours, MANY calls and voicemails later, we decided to call the non emergent police line which we were told they were unable to help without permission from the owner - they also tried calling the number they had with no answer either and we were advised to either sleep in our car or book another hotel. We called all 4 businesses they have shown on their building assuming they're owned by the same people, no one was able to help there either. We ended up able to unlock our vehicle from our phone and sleep in it (we had no actual keys as they were locked in the room too) we continued to call the after hours line throughout the night and into the morning but we ended up locked out of our room from 10:30pm to 8am when the front desk opened. The front desk manager (I'm blanking on her name) was lovely, super friendly and apologetic but explained someone else named "dalton" was responsible for the after hours phone and clearly completely neglected to answer. She refunded the cost of our room which was great and gave us a couple gift cards to local restaurants ($35 worth), but really it didn't take away the fact that we had the worst experience in a hotel ever, we would've much preferred to just be able to sleep in the room. Again, decent motel, absolutely awful customer service, if you stay please triple check you have your keys when leaving/you have everything you need before they close.

A solid 3.5 stars…read more The good: -Beautiful views of the water -The lounge area by the pool was so relaxing and comfortable! Sincerely the best of any resort we've stayed at -Genuinely friendly staff -The cleaning crew was phenomenal and didn't miss a spot The not-so-good: -Paper thin walls. We were woken up multiple nights because the upstairs guests were walking around. Yes, plain footsteps - not even stomping - were very audible. For close to 1k a night, this shouldnt have happened. My cheap grad school duplex apartment didn't even have walls this thin! -Friction prevented us from giving the resort more money. There's room service but no menu in the room and it wasn't easily found online either. And we were so ready to drop a good amount of money on poolside drinks and food but nobody waited on us both times we were at the pool. (They did happen to wait on the social media star who was present, which was very obvious, and we made eye contact with another family who shrugged because they hadn't been waited on either.) And finally the coffee shop closed at noon. We would have happily patronized the shop for a treat and a coffee and were disappointed to find it closed so early. -Our perception was that there was nothing going on at the Wequassett. We stayed in June (and received the May newsletter; perhaps that would've given us more info if we had the correct one?) We had expected the poolside bar to be open. Maybe some live music. Smores for the kids by the fire (we would've purchased this.) So many opportunities for improvement! We stayed at the cliff house in Maine last year and there was a number displayed around the resort that you could text and they'd send a message with info about was going on at the hotel that week! Such a memorable touch - Wequasset could consider something like this. All in all, not awful, but not blow-your-socks-off fantastic, either. Just plain average in the realm of resorts.

Wequassett has been for many years among the best properties I go to in the US (or internationally…read morefor that matter). Every single time we visited, the service has been impeccable and I find it hard to think about any other resort that can get even close to Wequassett. The grounds are perfectly kept and the rooms have been recently renovated. And although, there's a trend even with classic high-end resorts (St. Regis, J.W., Ritz-Carlton) to make their renovations a little too modern for my taste, Wequassett successfully kept their old school charm. We always stay at their Signature Water View King rooms (and book well in advance as there's only a few of these) so I can't speak of other room types. The amenities are flawless and even though the main pool gets VERY crowded during summer weekends, the pool attendant always found 2 chairs for us. My only recommendation for this property is to have a backup plan for the main pool. Perhaps installing a deck and adding some more chairs there to accommodate more guests that prefer the beach vs. the pool.
