Tried to check in at 2:15 .... Official check in is 4:00 - no problem - but the room was ready - but they wanted an early check in fee of $20 - how dumb. So instead I made the clerk hold our luggage in a special room for 2 hours. I asked about a refrigerator as I had some leftover pizza. Was told there is no refrigerator available to anyone there - when I asked manager where they keep their lunches - was left with a blank stare. So - instead of paying the $20 - I cancelled my second night - so they are now out the $39 resort fee and a nights room as well. Terrible mgmt there - a $20 fee cost them a nights charge plus a resort fee - Literally was just trying to enjoy a quick getaway - but stupidity and short sightedness with hotel mgmt. wins out - again dumb on their part. Oh where to start with this train wreck of a "casino" if you want to even call it that. I live nearby and have been coming here for over 10 years. Before Ballys bought it, it was great. Now its trashy and never taken care of. The last couple weeks I have gone to try to give it a glimmer of hope but alas I was let down. Each time I went the machines were tight. They didn't pay. New machines added which you would think would be loose to entice players to play them lat vacant. I was excited because I rarely get the chance to play the new games as people are always on them. But boy should I have taken that as a warning. They never hit bonuses and didn't pay. If you want to burn your money away yo7d be better if giving it to the bum whose gonna buy drugs on the street after even though they told you that they would buy food with it. But let's not stop there. They are making millions of dollars a day you would assume. Or atleast hundreds of thousands of dollars. You would think they would be able to keep their change machines full of twenties, and hundreds right? Nope. You have a $500 ticket to cash? Guess what. You get $5 bills because they cant afford to fill the machines. Let's continue shall we? Because now that you have your crisp $5 bills in hand let's go feed them into the machines. Oh but guess what?? The bill collectors are full and now the machines holding your cash in the machine hostage until you "call and attendant". You press the button. You ask workers for help and they look at you like deer in the headlights. They say "we will get someone right away". Next thing you know 40 minutes pass and still no help. You have to result to calling ballys security and reporting that your money is being held hostage by the machine. Even then its 50/50 they dispatch someone to help you. The place needs new ownership. Ballys sucks. They are greedy, dont pay, dont invest in their employees (or lack thereof) and dont care about its patrons. You are better off going to Mohegan, Foxwoods, Plainridge, MGM Springfield, Boston Encore, or even First Light Casino in Taunton. Because atleast at those locations they have a clue. You wont have to wait until your 100th birthday to get helped at those locations. Maybe they are banking on you aging enough at the maxhine waiting for help so that you can now collect Social Security to waste at their scrappy machines. This place is a joke. I had reserved two tickets to see Terry Fator a month ago and when I arrived at 6:30 on April 17, 2026 we were told no tickets available. They did not scan my card and you could clearly see tickets on the table. Very poor customer service and would not recommend this casino. read more

It's not a huge casino, but it's a casino. Large parking lot, not too far off Route 146. They offer valet. PLENTY of slot machines. They have a spa inside (Spa Light.) It's a Korean spa so that means no shoes and clothing in some parts optional. Lots of different rooms to try, an array of hot tubs, massage chairs, etc... (Extremely clean and the day pass is so worth it!) A few options for eating. A few sit down places and a few fast food options. I recently did the following at Bally's: 1. At at Jerry Longo's- wish the Italian was better but bocce ball inside is pretty cool but I can't take my kids here! The smoke! 2. Went to a concert. It's a weird place for a concert. I mean it's a convention center basically. Its carpeted! For the concert they pull out folding chair, and slab a half covering over it with numbers on them with paper signs for the row. I've been a loyal Bally's Twin River guest since moving to Massachusetts in 2013, but I'm incredibly disappointed with the level of customer service lately. On two separate visits, my husband was stuck at a broken machine for over 30 minutes waiting for help. Both times, I had to personally track down a slot host and have them text me the machine numbers just to get anyone to respond. Today was especially frustrating. When the slot mechanic finally came over, he didn't even acknowledge the long wait. No apology, no explanation -- not even a simple offer to send over a waitress for a drink. Just silence, as if our time and experience didn't matter at all. This kind of service is unacceptable--especially with so many other options like Encore and MGM in Massachusetts, not to mention Gate City and The Nash in New Hampshire, which we literally drive past to get to Twin River. Bally's, you need to do better. Longtime customers deserve more respect and better service. read more

I have been a long time customer at Ballys . I have built great relationship w many staff members on the floor but I have a great complaint about the hotel. I was staying at the hotel a week ago when Lorraine a desk worker was very rude to me . She always has been rude to everyone! She threatens to call the security because I asked a simple question. The turnover has been very high because of people like her and poor customer service. And when you call the front desk they hang up on you! This has to stop ! I have heard from various depts at the casino that experience the same. I'm hesitant to write negative review on this establishment as a whole because it truly is a clean and renovated casino that we enjoy, however, the audio for the music in Lighthouse Bar is so atrocious that we could not bear to stay and listen to the live band. We were very disappointed considering the band The Great Escape is really good but the audio distorted them so badly. Bally's please fix this as you are losing audience. I enjoy the smoke free casino although the kiosks typically don't work to claim free play. I will not go to a show there again. You are thigh to thigh with the person next to you sitting in banquet chairs that are zip tied together so you can't spread them out at all. Never enough bartenders in the events and you can't see the stage because it is a banquet room, not a theater. Too bad. There are some good opportunities to have a nice place there like the Fox theater at foxwoods. Turn the old stadium seating into a theater or something. Restaurants are blah. Fred &Steve's has had the same menu for years and the Meatball place has about 6 options. Neither is open most days. Wicked Good grill is not. Simple options. i'd like to share my experience from last night. I came with a friend who wanted to have a few drinks and gamble. We sat at the bar and was ignored for the first five minutes, There were two elderly women working and a tall man. Three of them.. Whispering amongst each other. Neither I or my friend were intoxicated and we ordered two sun cruisers. When my friend went to pay, his card fell out of his wallet. Shouldn't have been a big deal, but apparently it was. Since she cut him off (the "beverage manager") we decided to play the slots. these people followed us around for the next 30 minutes. It was the strangest thing I've ever experienced. As we got up, my friend picked up my empty drink can to throw away, And we were told that we had to leave because we were spilling drinks... which we did not spill anything. I'm personally taking this as a discriminatory offense. Obviously, they waited until we dumped a bunch of money into the slots to tell us to leave. Then the 15-year-old security had to escort us to the door as if we were criminals... Absolutely bizarre. I have NEVER been treated so poorly. Will not be coming back. I've been a long time player for many years I had a bad experience on June 6th this year while I was playing cards I walked over two tables over to look for the drink person and talk to somebody another table while I was over there someone came over and stole four $1,000 chips I told management they had me look in the bathroom for the person and then we went to the cage I spent two hours there with no assistance at all went home without any answers I did press charges with the police I haven't heard back from the casino since I've sent them numerous emails because I figured $1,000 chips should have trackers in them and I should be able to get reimbursed the police said they know who did it from Boston they saw them take the chips and leave the casino so they haven't been cashed I don't know why the casino hasn't communicated with me since I've been customer for many years I am pretty disgusted read more

They tell you they're giving you $175 in FreePlay and then they take it away from you, bunch of crooks. They don't even give you 24 hours to use it they give you 14 hours. They created their own day so when they tell you have slot play for the day it's a scam. They have no management at night nobody at the players booth nobody you can even talk to to try to handle the issue. No hosts. They make you drive all the way down over an hour and a half away and then #### you. I was at Bally's last night 12/28/2025 As always it was very crowded which is good for business. However, there are always issues with the machines that cash out winning tickets. There is a bank of 4 machines in the downstairs area and 3 of them were not working. Went to another area in the Korean section and both were down there as well. I told a worker that the machines were down and I was told that is not her department, and there was another bill changing machine as she pointed, that one was down too. There were long lines at the cashier cage with people waiting to cash their tickets . The place is a disgrace, filthy, glasses, trash, ash trays, empty bottles left on machines and there is never anyone cleaning. In order to play on a machine I had to remove 2 empty bottles, 2 empty glasses and a filthy ashtray and blow ashes off the machine. When is this place going to clean up its act? There is a scarcity of beverage servers as well, started taking in my own water. read more

High stakes blackjack $50/hand has six decks which is quite nice. Literally, just somewhere to go when you don't want to go to CT. We've gone so many times and have left so many times after spending next to nothing in money. Not worth it. We've stayed overnight - no plans to do that again. Front desk was not very helpful, room was SO unbelievably basic, it wasn't anything I would expect from a casino. Entertainment - some acts are really good. That's what they have going for them. We were given vouchers for Christmas 2019... just a few months before Covid shut all things down. Because we couldn't use the vouchers within 12m, we were screwed out of $100 and they would not assist - had to contact the state. Um. OK. Phone calls went unanswered at the casino and staff was rude. I'm not really a complainer, in general, but this place is literally just somewhere to go when not in the mood for a long drive to CT. We spend 10% here of what we would spend at the other big casinos in CT (or even Boston). Unless and until they care more about their guests, I'm not really sure we'll ever give them more business. read more

Recently, I took the narrow roads down to Bally's Twin River Lincoln with my niece Palpala, to celebrate her 15th birthday with an exotic gambling experience! We entered the casino to an unpleasant odor of cigarette smoke as well as despair. A man greeted us, and kissed Palpala's hand. I thought it was a sweet kind gesture, but Palpala was upset! I told her to man up, and we walked in. The aroma consisted of cigarette, despair, and of course, money! I won a nickel off of the Chinese slot machine, and a handsome elder gentleman congratulated me! Me and Palpala enjoyed a cold Iced Brew at the bar, and overall, it was great! We had fun lots of machine's and a lot of newer games we hadn't played before. Won some lost some but all in all a good time. The staff could be more welcoming and helpful. We dined in the sports bar Wicked Good Bar & Grill we felt it was overpriced $22 cheeseburger and mediocre food at best. Plus the server wasn't helpful at all. Overall I would say go to the casino and try your luck but find somewhere else to eat. read more

The poker room reopened recently and my problem with it this time was the temperature. Our table was seated below a vent and literally my hands were going numb. People were getting coffee at Dunkin' donuts just to stay warm. Keep in mind it's February. I felt like the air conditioning was on. They also need to add more dealers in tables. I'm sure they will at some point after they move it downstairs to the new addition. I hope that room is better. Light went off and machine was making noises (probably to alert someone) well, I waited 45 minutes for an attendant to arrive and open up the machine to get the ticket out. My wife & I enjoy gambling from time to time and we have family local to this casino so we thought we'd go play a little. We usually play at Hard Rock, Foxwoods, Plainridge, Encore and others. Gamblers beware, this is by far the most poorly run operation I have ever experienced. We were completely stunned by the lack of professionalism we experienced. Lack of concern for your time, your feeling and most of all these people are rude! 1) We hit jackpots, the attendant comes over and creates a ticket, you then have to go to the window to cash this ticket which means you already waited for the attended, sometimes 20-30 minutes, now you have to stand in line again, wait then fill out a tax form and sign it before you get your money. 2) there were no drinks available to a player, not even water or coffee, we saw nobody for 7 hours and had to go to the bar ourselves if we wanted a drink (this includes water) 3) The place is dirty, smells nasty and nobody addresses you with kindness. terrible atmosphere. 4) we hit a jackpot around 2:00 am, we waited 45 minutes and nobody came to help us, we went over to a pit boss at the tables to see if they can call someone to help, he looked at my wife and literally asked her what the machine ID# was, she said she didn't know that info and would really not know where she would find that info, this guy flared up at her, ran over to a machine and pointed to a plaque that has a number on it and said, there, you need to look here on the machine and let me know what the number is, threw up his hands and walked away. This guy was way out of line and truly should be reprimanded in some way, you shouldn't treat customers that way. 5) Gamblers and Non Gamblers beware. Horrible atmosphere. Disgusting smoke everywhere. Wouldn't go back. We decided to take a trek here since it was about an hour from where we were staying. We walked in the north entrance. No smoking. No vaping. The only real downside was that it was so dark. Dark wood panels on the walls. Low lighting. Half the food court wasn't open. There were some machines and poker. Sufficient area to play. Then we went downstairs. This is where the real casino is. Thousands of machines. And every person smoking. Ashtrays at every machine. Dirty. Disgusting. The only non smoking area we could find was that little north entrance. We both won some money but left within an hour because we couldn't stand the smoke. This place is terrible. read more

Clean room, comfortable bed. Booked a two night stay, mainly because of pricing. First night was good, second night was awful! Had a room full of people near us that were screaming and shouting all night. I'm all for a good party, but take it to the casino! They were apparently playing cards in the room judging by what we heard....This went on from 10 pm till 4 am...I realize going to a casino hotel is not the ideal travel rest location, but come on. Went to the lobby to ask if they could send someone to have them quiet down a little, but nothing was done. The party raged all night. As a matter of fact, all the desk personnel we encountered during our stay were very disinterested, starting with check in, where the attendant handed us the room key card and did not offer any info, such as where the room was or any points of interest in the hotel or area. Did not even tell us the hotel had its own parking lot; found that out from another patron. The only bright spot was we actually won enough in the casino to cover the cost of the room! Have stayed at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun hotels before, and never encountered any excessive noise issues during the late evening. Personnel were very welcoming and attentive also. As far as restaurants, Wicked Good Bar was pretty good; special shout out to James, our server, who was fantastic!!! read more

The layout is a little bit disjointed but I still enjoy this casino because it's one of the few places where you can find some of the "old school" slot machine games like Texas Tea, Fairy's Fortune, and more. The smoking area, however, has horrible ventilation so it's great that they have an expansive non-smoking section upstairs. Clean bathrooms as well, which is always appreciated. I love coming to twin River because it is local. it's not the best casino as far as the cool amenities like arcades and fancy candies, but its good for just gambling lol. The place is filled with cigarette smoke and felt very unclean. There is no one at desk you have to call a number then someone will come out of back room in about five minutes or so!! I'm not a gambler, so this review is about everything else. Overall I liked the hotel and the food offerings, even at 1am. That's when I arrived after a long day of travel. - First the good: Nice staff True pitch dark room Great temp control Nice bathroom and shower. The quick service was open until 2am, and I had Johnny rocket burger with onion rings. Very good! - Now, the not so good. Arriving at 12am and having to first park in the general parking, which forces you to check in to the hotel, and then have to go back to your car which is parked waaaay out, just so you can use your room key to get hotel parking. Pulling back the sheets to find some nasty stains on the clean sheets. All the smokers who are allowed to smoke in the gaming area. If you've ever been to a casino and want to eat, they attach all eating areas to the casino floor, so that sucked. read more

Was in Lincoln area w my 18!yr old son and he mentioned he can go to RI casino at 18. We don't normally visit, but decided to try. Casino is part of MGM, so it was standard, on a weeknight still very full with lots of seniors losing their cash to the MGM house. A couple of sit down restaurants and lots of food courts. Games all slots or automated table games. Waiter serving drinks like usual. No younger people here, at least not on a Thursday Night. Suggest if you have the urge go to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun. read more

This place needs to shut down and try again. 10 dollars to valet now. The guys who do the valet have not seen any pay increase. So if your disabled or it is raining, forget it. They also don't regulate parking and it is chaos. This is NOT Vegas Bally's. A free valet was one of the only things we as Rhode Islanders got for free here. The place is filthy. Take a close look at the entrance ways. Cigarette butts and garbage everywhere. The inside is no different. If you don't smoke and don't have cancer you will feel like you do when you leave. The new "section" does look nice, but there is nothing new. All the machines were pulled from other sections of the property. The other sections look empty and awlful. The decision makers don't care how the place looks at all. Lastly, the lines to cash a ticket are a disgrace. The picture attached is of the line me and my elderly mother waited in. Over 20 minutes and I was so embarrassed. They have self serve cash machines. They all sit out of service because no one wants the job to fill them. They don't pay a living wage to new hires. Bottom line is a complete lack of respect for the gamer. You get nothing here but disrespect. I wish the citizens of RI took more notice and planned better places to go play. I won't be back.
