I called yesterday on a whim to have a bouquet delivered to my sister who just started her first day at a new job. I never caught the reps. name but he was pleasant over the phone when I inquired about a particular floral selection "pink possible" or something close to it. I explained that I needed it delivered day of and he was able to accommodate my last minute request due to proximity of my desired delivery location. He could have simply denied my request since his delivery person had just left to make rounds. I asked for the deluxe option and that I would take whatever was big and pink lol. I believe my call was made at around 12 noon amd he has the flowers to my sister by 1:30pm. Naturally I wouldn't reccomend anyone to do as I did, butit's great to know that such an incredible arrangement could be created within those time constraints. They didn't respond timely and he was extremely accommodating- indicated that he'd make up another fresh arrangement when he heard from them. It's rare to get this kind of service and treatment. I ordered a retirement bouquet for my mom, and it was beautiful. A wonderful mix of colors and flowers. I couldn't tell you what's what, but take a look at my photos. I placed the order the night before. Teleflora has an extra fee for delivering before 1pm, so I called the shop the day off at 11am to see when they would be delivered, and they informed me that they were already out the door. When you buy tulips, roses, or any kind of flowers, n say"they are for my loved one that passed away" , people should show some empathy. This Florist doesn't seem to process that word empathy! Got some flowers and when I told them it's for my loved on that I'll b visiting at a cemetery they guy just looked at me. He took my money, handed me my change, and had nothing to say. I called my florist in LA, but their referral only got 1-star on Yelp - Yikes! This was an important gift and it had to be perfect! I read through the Yelp offerings and decided on Enchanted Florist. So glad that I did! Nestor was incredibly helpful, designed an outstanding arrangement, and delivered on time. He was so great to work with, offering creative suggestions for the arrangement, and the recipient loved, loved, LOVED her flowers! I wanted to send birthday flowers to a niece living in Brooklyn while attending school in NYC (we're from Chicago). The day I called and spoke to Nestor was a busy one, my mind was reeling and I was having trouble making an appropriate selection for a lively, creative and bold 21-year-old who also has a deep appreciation for all things vintage. Nestor and I chatted for what was probably an unreasonably long time while I described both my niece and my own taste and preferences when it comes to flowers and vases, and he made suggestions to match. Bottom line was I left it up to him -- and he did a fabulous job! She loved the flowers, and I enjoyed the photo that she sent. Also, my niece was spending the day out and about (she had the day off work) and would not be available to receive the flowers during normal business hours, so Nestor made arrangements with her for delivery the next day and gave me a call to keep me informed. And all of this was accomplished within a relatively lean budget, and with humor and kindness on Nestor's part. Enchanted Florist has been in Bay Ridge forever and even though I come from Sunset Park its worth the trip..First and foremost the owner (Nestor) is a real nice, funny, and knowledgeable guy. I come her often (well that is when I do something to piss off my g/f), which is every other week. The flower arrangements always look like more than what you have spent (meaning huge arrangements). 2nd I ordered a couple of fruit baskets and they are unbelievable, (thats when I have done something really bad) always get compliments on them. 3rd the customer service is great and I have never doubted Nestor's opinion on anything. Overall the experience in Enchanted Florist has always been a positive one. It's shops like these that have been in Bay Ridge forever and keep the neighborhood nostalgic. I'm happy to have chosen Enchanted Florist for my wedding. My wedding was on Aug 24, 2013, and the bouquets are still looking good after 3 days. Enchanted is a family business serving the neighborhood, run by a really friendly guy Nestor. When I first approached Nestor, I explained to him that I have a tight budget. With that in mind, Nestor worked with me to put together flowers for center pieces, bridal bouquets, corsages & boutonnières that would not break my wallet. Nestor also tried hard to source flowers that I like but were not in season. He told me the pro's and con's in using my specified flower choices. He really went out of the way to make sure that his customers are satisfied. At the end I went with the flowers he suggested instead of the flowers I thought would look good, and I am really happy that I did so - his team did an awesome job with the arrangement! The flowers came on time and were arranged quickly on my wedding day. Not only that, Nestor is always at the store. I've never called once and had to be put on hold for more than 30 seconds. Everything you're reading about how great this place is and especially about Nestor is true. I needed flowers sent and thought about calling one of the 1-800 services. On second thought I decided to stay local so I looked up florists in the area and Enchanted Florist was highest rated. I thought, "Well that's the place then" and called right away. The only problem was that I didn't notice that they didn't open for almost a half an hour. Nestor picked up and took my order and it was then that I noticed their hours. He never said a word about it. He made suggestions based on what I needed, was a total gentleman and pro in the ordering process and assured me as we hung up that he would take good care of my order and I believed him.
