I appreciate that Enamel Dentistry provides advance notification regarding appointments several days beforehand. Also, the office setting is visually pleasing with complimentary types of sparkling water. The dental office has an open concept making your area appear very spacious. Each dental area has a television on the wall and ceiling with Roku imagery, a nice distraction. You view fish of all types (yellow, blue, green, puffy, tiger) swimming around bright coral. The most attractive part about Enamel Dentistry is my doctor, Dr. Patel. She is very caring and takes acute interest in any dental issue you may be having. Also, if a dental issue is not her expertise, she will refer you to a specialist and discuss with you her opinion and the next steps after the dental results come in. Importantly, she talks in non-dental language...information that the average person can understand. Today when I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted by the receptionist team, which made me feel right at home. Today I was in for a 6-month standard cleaning. First step, blood pressure and temperature check, which they were doing even before covid. It gives the effect of a total body check. First, the dental assistant, Anna, polished and flossed my teeth. My hygienist, Jeff, meticulously cleaned my teeth, and I saw Dr. Patel at the end of my visit for an overall exam. Important to note, Enamel Dentistry now charges a 3.5% charge for use of an credit card. So come prepared with a Debit card, if you do not want to incur a fee. I am beginning to see this trend more and more especially at small businesses. From a dental perspective, nothing of significance to report...no change in my dental health. First off, this place is better than Swish, which were the two I was initially deciding between when I moved to the domain. Enamel leaves a lot to be desired. Constantly different people working on my mouth. The dentist today didn't even introduce himself before putting in my crown. But he did a good job. I guess the guy I saw 3 weeks ago no longer works there Also I was really grossed out when debris was taken out of my mouth, wiped on the napkin placed around my neck, and then the X-ray "blanket" put on top of the debris. So gross. Sorry if anyone gets my debris on their shirt after getting an X-ray. Absolutely filthy. I had to smell it the whole procedure on the napkin They also try to upsell too much. They were going to fix a cavity but insisted on a $200 "laser" cleaning not covered by my insurance. I happened to be visiting Miami around that time and got the cavity filled by my old dentist for $31 total. You can tell they are a corporation trying to maximize profit - it doesn't feel like the nice cozy dentist office feeling I got at my childhood dentist Last is they cancel your appt if you don't confirm by x amount of hours before your appointment. They did this when I needed a crown, had an appointment for them to look at my teeth, and had an appointment one week later that I put $50 down for. Like I literally gave you money to tell you how much I'm going to be there. Again I think this comes from the big bosses and i hope they are reading this and realize what a ridiculous practice it is to "cancel the appointment in order to avoid charging me a late cancellation fee" - word gymnastics If I was staying in Austin longer I'd probably look for a smaller practice, but I won't be in Austin very long and they will do! read more

Going to the dentist sucks 99 out of 100 times, this place is the one time it doesn't. Parking is decent outfront but it can get busy as the lot is shared with numerous other businesses. THe interior is sleek and modern, very clean and comfortable as well. From very efficient communication with the staff to outstanding patient care, this place really does care about its patients. Reception is extremely professional and communicates before and after appointments via text and call to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. We both went in to get dental work done and came out feeling good about what we just went through. More specifically, we both began our Invisalign process and the way we were walked through things and guided made understanding what we were getting done much easier and comforting. Cost will obviously vary in these things depending on insurance but we were both happy with how much we paid for our services out of pocket. We'll be back a few more times in the coming weeks and months to finish up our process but we feel good about doing so. Maybe that's Stockholm syndrome at its finest, or maybe it's being clearly walked through what's going on with your dental health and having them specify things regarding your exam and cleaning. Either way it's strange to admit, but this is a dentist we wouldn't mind going back to whatsoever. read more

I chipped my tooth when I was younger and maybe a 2 years ago I got it redone after years. It end up chipping surprisingly at work! I called for an emergency procedure an I was happy they were able to get me in same day. Got me in an out for my temp until the following month when my insurance kicked in , an set me up for my scheduled new crowning. They weren't pushing to get my money, but took the time to find all the offers I could use to help me get everything taken care of. They even have a text line that they were to answer some of my questions when I was unable to chat on the phone. During my procedure, they set me up with a tv on the ceiling to watch movies on Netflix, as I hate the sound of tools on my teeth. CRINGE! I finished my crowning recently an got a nice cleaning.The only downside was the color matching lab they set me up with never called me, luckily my crown still looked great. Even when switching dentist after my first one moved out of state, they cared for me the same! Set up for my next procedure which starts with my wisdom teeth, wish me luck ! read more

I went in for a crown that needed to be reattached. The staff was very responsive to my needs. They examined me and took X rays. Then the Doctor checked my needs and they worked up an estimate. I thought the charges were in line with what I expected. The Doctor came in and reinstalled the crown check everything and I was done. I definitely will use their services again. read more

Do not go here!! Scheduled cleaning, after 2hrs of x rays and exams no cleaning. Seems they try to up sale you. I have never missed a cleaning in my lifetime until now. Very shady practice from this office. I would have gotten mad if it was not so transparent at their intent in the end. I just hate I wasted my time. Of course they billed my insurance. LOL first cleaning I ever went to that nothing got done. Dentist told me 80% of their patients have the same. So I assume they do this to 80% of first time clients. Doctor Sejal is the best! I had such a pleasant visit today. They offer kombucha on tap and Nespresso in the lobby, so we were off to a great start. Everyone in the office is super happy and easy to work with. I appreciated the honest assessment: I previously went to another dentist in Austin who told me I needed 6-8 crowns urgently and cost for this would have been several thousand dollars. Dr. Sejal shared that I do have a couple of teeth we need to keep an eye on that would eventually need crowns but recommended that I delay that by wearing a nitegard for now. Not just to save money but because tooth enamel is stronger than the crown. Also, have you ever been to a dentist that gives you WINE in your goodie bag with the toothbrush and toothpaste. I LOVE Aubrey, my hygienist. To be transparent, I didn't like going to dentists' offices in the past. Who wants someone drilling in their mouth, especially during COVID. Now I actually look forward to my quarterly appointments. Aubrey is awesome; she is personable & professional. She explains everything so you know what is happening. She is gentle, during my cleanings rarely do I bleed because she is careful. The office is great, new, fresh and very clean; the music is awesome! I had a beyond incredible experience at Enamel Dentistry with Dr. Devish Patel and his awesome team. There is no better way to describe it than a personal, elevated dentist visit. Quite honestly I was taken aback because I have always associated dental visits with sterile offices and awkward interactions I can't wait to be away from. The most important part of the visit is of course - the quality of care. The dental hygienists were not only thorough, but warm and welcoming making the process easier. Dr. Patel sat with me and when through my X-Rays, teeth diagrams etc in detail and helped me understand better the changes in care that would be important to make for my overall health. He made this great analogy for flossing: like cleaning your arteries, something about the way he explained each component to me had me leaving with an actual motivation to take better care of my teeth. I received my 6 month clean up, x-rays, and a teeth whitening session in advance of my wedding. My results are amazing, I could immediately see the difference in my teeth, so could my fiance! Past the exceptional medical care - you can tell the team has put a lot of thought into the design and ambiance of the office. The space is modern, outfitted with cool art and light fixtures. The music is contemporary (none of that elevator music!), and the amenities are surprising: Kombucha on tap, seltzer waters, Nespresso coffee. When you get to your dental chair, there are TVs with options to watch Disney+ or netflix to make the time move faster. Overall, a great experience. I went in for a consultation. He said he would send me a plan for how to straighten my teeth in about 2 weeks. That was 4/8. Today is 4/30. I have not heard from him. I wish he would have just said l "I can't help you. Your case is beyond my skill set" rather than promising to follow up and never doing so. I've bounced around Dentists offices the past few years, not really feeling comfortable until now. Dr. Chodavadia was amazing! Not only did he check on how I was feeling throughout the entire appointment, he explained everything is great detail. I'm wary of being scammed over over charged after a bad experience with another Dentist in the past. Paid $500 for a in office whitening that made no real difference which was a bummer. I worked really hard for that $500 but they kinda warn you beforehand of that. Otherwise staff is really nice and there's tvs on the ceiling to make time go by faster. Would advise to just whiten yourself with a store bought kit if you don't have the money to waste. read more

Be carful with billing. They send everything into insurance as diagnostic even when you went in for an annual exam. They're quote for what I needed was outrageous. Co worker with same insurance getting similar things done that are either covered by our insurance or she is only paying a small fraction of what I was quoted done else where. read more
