This unassuming corner bar seems like a great neighborhood hangout. When I visited on a Friday evening, the bar was filled with several groups catching up over some cold ones. They have touch tunes available in the corner and several seating options off to the side. The lighting over the bar was pretty bright, but the seating area was dimmer. The bar staff were friendly and in a great mood. They were quick to take our order and did ID our party. We didn't try any of the food, but they had several daily specials posted all over the bar. The space was super clean and overall gave a welcoming vibe!

Italian hoagie wrapped in bar naps

Food is okay, but bartenders are terrible. First off, their kitchen closes at 10:00 p.m. After that, you are out of luck if you are hungry. They have daily specials, which I understand are specially priced if you eat-in and buy a drink. I walked in, sat down to eat in and ordered a drink. Then I ordered their food special for the night. I drank and ate until I was full. I couldn't finish my hoagie special, and aske\ad for a bag. The bag was maybe going to cost them 5 or 10 cents at the most. They refused giving me a bag because it was an "eat-in" special. I was denied a bag because the special price was only for "eating in". Oh, okay, I was trying to eat in, but couldn't finish it. I ate and drank for the better part of an hour, but couldn't finish. Am I to be punished because I couldn't finish what I ordered? What were they going to do with a leftover 1/2 of a hoagie? They couldn't serve it to someone else, at least I hope not! So for the price of a 5 cent bag, they lost a customer. I gave a good tip, but I won't be back. Apparently the bartenders run the show and don't need money or tips. Good for them. I have eaten at this place for at least 15 times, and I am disappointed. i wrapped my leftovers in bar naps that were easily accessible at the bar, but I won't be back in the near future. Hopefully the owners will take over the management of this place and realize a 5 or 10 cent bag is a nominal price to pay to keep customers. With competition in the bar and restaurant industry, they need to do better. As an aside there is a great pub bar about 5 miles north of here that is open and serves food until 1:30 a.m., and will happily give you a container for leftovers! So disappointed!

    Delicious chicken tenders!

We had dinner there last night. The pork chops were excellent. The mozzarella sticks were the best we've ever had. We got to meet the owners, Guy, Darrell, and Mike. Good people! We'll definitely be back

The good: the portions of soup are like a bowl you eat at home. The bad: the soup at home tastes way better.

Lots of meat on a fresh roll. We tried the tuna our next time around and bang! It was one of the best tuna subs I have eaten. We ordered the sandwich without dressing, in the future I'd get mayo or oil and vinegar. Good sandwich even dry. The slugger is meatball with crumbled hot sausage and banana peppers. Great sandwich! Spicy, flavorful, hot, with a shot of flavor every time there's a banana pepper bite. The star of the meal tho was the potato salad. I think I tasted pickle juice and mustard in the wet part of the salad, and they also added bacon. I kept picking at the potato salad even though I was stuffed, it's so good! I'm glad this place opened close, I'll be back for sure, and will def try out different sandwiches next time too. Oh yeah, Mancini's buns! Yum! But be careful, the soporific effect of these buns is not to be underestimated.

DiBella's Subs is a casual restaurant chain that began over 100 years ago, and today it has dozens…read moreof locations across several states. My husband and I visited this particular DiBella's Subs in Robinson Township one time. Menu items include submarine sandwiches (e.g., salami, ham, turkey, corned beef, tuna, roast beef, capicola, chicken, cheesesteak, meatball, and veggie), salads (e.g., pasta, macaroni, and potato), and cookies (e.g., chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin). For lunch my husband ordered a 10-inch grilled chicken Philly sandwich. After he paid and had his receipt, an employee asked him if he had ordered a different sub, and he corrected her, and then she dishonestly told another employee that he had "changed" his mind. After many minutes, an employee handed him the correct sandwich. Including tax and tip, it cost about $16. The restaurant contained many tables and chairs, but we got the sandwich as takeout. My husband said that he liked the taste of his grilled chicken Philly sandwich.

Does anyone else remember when DiBella's used to load up their subs with meat?…read more The quality and quantity of the food has really slipped over the last few years. There was a time where you could bite into a DiBella's sub and there would be a generous portion of meat on it. Now? Most bites are just a lot of bread and toppings. I have never had an issue with the service here. Unless you consider not loading up the subs part of the service. Everyone is friendly. Because there is so little meat on the subs, I would now consider them too expensive. On a scale of 1-5: Food - 2 Service - 4.5 Price - 2

We walked about 10 min and change from our hotel to the strip district location. It is a small little place made up for by its attention grabbing wall art of famous and loved Pittsburgh figures. The menu is easy enough. Pick a protein (there are many options) to go on the sandwich which is the standard cole slaw, cheese, tomato, and fries tucked between two slices of thick, soft white bread. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to see a vegetarian option with both a cheese and an egg and cheese version. GF and I shared and it is not a bad sandwich to share bc the thing is massive. That isn't to say that I couldn't have eaten another half bc I absolutely could have. The thing is so large and busting with ingredients I wondered how I could fit it for a bite but where there's a will, there's a way. It was excellent. What a great combo of flavors and textures. I only wish there was more cheese. I do feel like with the cheese version there should be more than what is in the version with meat but call me crazy. I could eat that every day.

Medium loudness, mainly from people's conversations. Went to bar area, little to right of entering and ordered. Asked for their special and the asked for the type of meat. Didn't know so they suggested I try pastrami and the capicola. Ordered and waited maybe 10-15min and they gave us our order in a big paper bag. It was heavy! Opened up one of the sandwiches to share and nicely the sandwich was cut in half already. Just need to tear the paper wrapper to separate. As you may know, sandwich has Cole slaw and fries on it, so it's thick. Preferred the capicola over the pastrami. Decent amount of meat on the sandwich but waaaayyy more fries than anything. The close slaw adds some crunch and tartness to a pretty mild sandwich. Overall, food was underwhelming. I'd stop by again but for some kielbasa or something ethnic. Otherwise I'd probably just try another nearby place to eat.
