If you are reviewing companies to do your counters and cabinets, you can stop and go with Capital-…read moreyou won't be disappointed! I spent a lot of time reviewing other companies and had several estimates already in hand until I met with Capital. Their level of professionalism surpassed all the others and instilled trust that they would do a good job. Their teamwork and dedication will bring your dream into a reality; I know, because they did it for me with my kitchen remodel. The owners of the company, Gary and Juan, are doing a fabulous job with their leadership and take a hands-on approach to making sure the customer is satisfied. I am completely impressed by Capital Counters and Cabinets and am so happy I found them! First impressions say a lot about a business and Capital Counters and Cabinets nailed it! I was looking to renovate my kitchen- new cabinets, countertops, removal of a pony wall, and replace florescent light with recessed lights. Juan was my initial contact when he came to my home to discuss what I wanted to do with the kitchen remodel and obtain measurements for an estimate. I was very impressed with the time he took to understand my vision and provided knowledgeable insight and recommendations. He was able to provide me with an initial written estimate that evening. He then suggested I visit the showroom and meet with one of their interior designers to discuss cabinet and countertop options. Although it was a drive to their Corona site, I am so glad I went. Their beautiful showroom is amazing! The showroom is so professionally designed with many, many displays of everything needed to do a kitchen (or bath) remodel! I was BLOWN AWAY when I went into there am so glad I took the time to see their place. I met with Ariella, the interior designer, who had all our kitchen plans sketched up in a computerized format that made it so easy to see the possible remodel in its completion. She gave me a tour and showed me different cabinet and quartz options and brands. They have an exceptionally large selection and can accommodate your budget. Ariella was a pleasure to work with- she able to answer all my questions and provided me with a custom kitchen design that exceeded my expectations. She listened to what I wanted, and recommended things I had never thought of. Since all the design is done on the computer, it was easy for her to switch things around and show me how it would look. After meeting with Ariella, seeing their showroom, and how everything was so professionally done with my estimate, I decided to go with Capital and have absolutely no regrets about it! Chris and Osmara were the project managers I worked with and they are amazing! They were always available when I had a question, and frequently checked in throughout the entire project. Chris came by my house often to check on the progress of the job and make sure I was satisfied. I felt reassured he knew exactly that was happening with the work being done and future plans. He is a great communicator and kept the project flowing smoothly. I did not have to worry about coordinating anything because Chris and Osmara took care of everything. I am extremely pleased with the high quality of the kitchen remodel and all the installer's expertise and craftsmanship. Herbert is a man with many skills and constantly amazed me with his knowledge and creativity. He did the demolition, electrical, plumbing relocation, drywall extension and repair, and appliance installation. I knew unexpected issues occur during remodels, but that didn't hinder Herbert. He was able to provide excellent solutions to anything that we had not thought of. He is serious about his craft and wants everything to be perfect (something I greatly appreciated). He is a true asset to their company. The cabinets were installed by Francisco and they are absolutely beautiful! He made sure everything was fitted exactly right and took the time to prep the house and clean up after everything was installed. He is another skilled craftsman that take pride in his work! Lastly, the quartz countertop and backsplash were templated and installed by Antonio and Frederico. I wanted to see how the quartz was going to be cut, and Capital Counters offered to have me meet with Antonio and Frederico at the shop to see how they planned to template my slabs of quartz. The veining on the Cambria quartz I selected is so beautiful I wanted to make sure that was highlighted in the final cut. Well, these guys did not disappoint either! They are experts and showed me how they planned on taking full advantage of the beautiful veining of the quartz when fabricating the countertops and backsplash. Thank you, Capital Counters and Cabinets, for making my dream kitchen a reality! I am so happy with their work; I plan to have them replace my entire house flooring next.

He took the time to explain the different types of materials, and the difference between prefab vs. custom slab (which is what they install). I had a minor issue with some small gaps where backsplash and under cabinets meet. (Only noticeable if you look under the cabinets). Gavin and he sent his crew out the next day to add caulking to fill this seam under the cabinet. The result was seamless. It really looks great!

On April 14, this past Monday, I was supposed to have my kitchen installed in my brand new custom…read morehome by a company called 365 cabinets DS in Indio CA I had no reason to believe that on April 14 the day of installation which we had set up weeks before ...... I had no idea he would be a complete no-show and NOT show up. Not only a no-show, but no phone call, no explanation no nothing. What's even crazier, it was just 24 hours before April 14,, that one of his employees or partners named Andreas called just to tell me how excited he was to install my kitchen and that I had nothing to worry about they would be there and get it done. I have to be in my brand new home by May 31 st. So I begin to call around kitchen cabinet/kitchen installers all over Riverside County the Inland Empire and beyond. Every place told me that it would take it at least six weeks just to order the materials to make my kitchen counters and cabinets, and then I would have to find a date they were available to install the kitchen. After literally about 14 phone calls, I found Summit Cabniets! By a stroke of good luck , they had just had a cancellation but the owner said it was still going to be difficult to try to fit me in, but he would do his very best to accommodate my timeline. Anyone who knows me, knows that I can be redundant, part of that comes from the career I am in, because redundancy can often save a life! The phone rep Morris, and the owner of Summit cabinets didn't judge my emotional phone call, he just sat and did what very few people can do any more who are in business or selling products..... he listened compassionately. I think a lot contractors and building vendors forget that, though it may just be another project for them, it is a huge emotional and complex process for the homebuyer! Especially when it's someone like me who has saved and dreamed to build my own custom home. Vendors in the construction industry can become callous. This certainly was not the case with Summit Cabniets. Corona is not just a hop skip and a jump away from where I live in Cathedral City, However, before I could even get to his showroom in Corona, he had already been to my home, taking measurements, looked over my previous designs, the blueprints of my house, and had a fully designed kitchen, waiting for me when I arrived at the showroom. His budget was very fair only costing me a little bit more than the other company that completely ghosted me on the day of Install and still hasn't explained to me what happened. All I can say is , THANK GOD for Summit Cabniets. The showroom is awesome and professionally displays your many options for building a kitchen, he assisted me in picking out modern hardware for my kitchen, and he is the first person to understand the type of island I wanted built. The other company said it was impossible to build that type of island. I knew that simply wasn't true . Within moments, Summit produced a set of plans with the kitchen island, cabinets and counters that I dreamed about since I've been saving up for this beautiful home over 20 years ago! His calm, nonjudgmental, customer first attitude , and willing to listen to my dreary long story, was healing and exactly what I needed. It was also comforting to hear the warehouse attached to the showroom where I could hear construction of cabinets and kitchen countertops being constructed . The owner of Summit cabinets produced a very clear, itemized contract, and gave me his word both in paper and on video and to me personally that my kitchen will be completely installed by May 1 if not earlier. And the fact that the owner is also a general contractor, gives me even that much more peace. Im lucky to have a wonderful, and incredibly talented general contractor through a company called LEVEL UP construction. They have built me a perfect home exactly as I dreamed. And now thanks to Summit, I'll have the kitchen to go along with it! Had the owner of Summit not been able to do what he did, there is a very good chance I would not have a place to live after May 31st. My wonderful general contractor at LEVEL UP construction has almost completed the home, but the kitchen was one of the couple major things still needed so we can get our permit to move in. I will update this review once the kitchen is finished!!! But so far I am very impressed, and look forward to the finished product!
