This place is spotless, clean, and relaxing. The minute you walk in the door, you're greeted by soothing spa music and the receptionist who then walks you to your room. My man and I got a 1hr full body couples massage for $50 each. What a deal!!! What I love about this place is that they massage you for the FULL HOUR! Once they start the massage, they do not leave the room, except to get the hot stones and hot towels. My masseuse Kevin did a great job and was super receptive of my requests (to go lighter in certain areas and harder in the areas that I needed most). He was considerate of my body's tolerance to pain and asked if I was okay when he felt he was going too hard. But for a 110lb girl, I can handle pressure! Lol. My boyfriend also got the 1hr Swedish massage and he felt that he's had better massages, maybe because he had a woman and for a heavier set guy, he needed extra pressure than usual. But she was also super receptive of his requests and even walked on his back towards the end of the massage. For the cleanliness, customer service and quality of my massage, I will be coming back. Just a heads up, 20% tip is not required but DEFINETELY expected as they stated in their in room "Need to Knows" sign. I tipped more than 20% because I truly felt like it was worth it. Thank you Massage Empress! I will be a regular from now on. read more

Had a fabulous experience at Empress Massage2 Cant believe what you get for the price.... full hour couples massage for $50 each! Plus hot stones and delicious tea included. If you're looking for a relaxing experience I can't imagine there's a better massage for your money. Sharon and May were fabulous massage therapists. Seriously couldn't be happier! read more

Empress Massage II is a Chinese run massage place. They offer full body, foot, and head to toe foot massage. The head to toe foot massage costs $30. That is a pretty good deal. So I got the head to toe foot massage. At first, I felt rushed because the massage therapist looked rushed. But eventually, I settled down. For the head to toe, as you soak your feet in water, they give you a head and shoulder massage. Honestly, I've gotten better head massages, but at least they do something while my feet were soaking. Other places just ignore you. I liked how they used that time to do something. Then they give you the standard foot massage. The skinny, little girl that massaged my feet gave great pressure. She was pretty good. At the end of the foot massage, they rub hot stones on my feet. Then they make you lay face down on your chair and they give you a pretty good Thai massage. They worked my back and shoulders hard. She even jumped on top me me and dug her elbows and knees into my back. It felt great. For a $30, I thought it was pretty good. The staff seemed to have little knowledge of English though. It would help to learn Mandarin. Other than that, this is a solid massage place. I give it 4.5 stars. I just wish they weren't so rushed in the beginning. That didn't give a relaxing atmosphere. read more

I'm torn between a 3-star or a 4-star, but I'm leaning more towards a 3.9 which rounds up to a 4 right? This place was suggested to us by a friend, so we decided to switch up our normal go to massage place for Empress Massage II last week. I called earlier in the day to schedule in 2x- 1hr. foot massages. The man who answered the phone was nice, but didn't take down my name or number. We arrived 10 min. early, but was immediately led down a dim corridor past rooms and into our own private room. Great start I thought to myself. The room is spacious enough for 2 reclining chair/beds, an endtable and a flat screen TV is mounted to the wall. I was distracted and absentmindedly said yes when the guy asked if 2 guys were ok much to hubby's disappointment. I can't speak for him, but my massage was pretty good. The therapist had strong hands which were not boney so it made the pressure better and not just sharp points pressing into your skin. The main differences between other foot massage places here are: - once your feet is in the hot water bucket, they immediately recline the chair down into a bed and start massaging your scalp, forehead, neck and shoulders. You can always say no to the forehead massage if you don't want any eyebrows to go missing during your massage. - the chair/bed is comfy to lie ON but not IN. When it is time to flip over for the back portion of your massage, you put your face through a hole in the chair (similar to western style massage tables). However, the chair is some sort of fabric and it was musty. I got kinda queasy thinking about that while trying not to breathe it in. This is really hard to do when you are trying to relax. The walls are thin here, and you can hear other customers in nearby rooms. However, we always bring headphones during our massages, this obviously was not the norm because both our therapists gave each other funny looks when we plugged in. The therapists didn't speak too much English, and we had to break down into non-English speak when asking them not to touch specific parts: i.e. a hurt ankle, etc. But they were on auto drive and still did it. Overall, a decent place. It's quiet enough, you will most likely get your own private room and the price is very competitive since you get 1 hour foot, leg and neck massage for $25 at most places and here you can get a whole body for $30. read more

MARY WHERE DID YOU GO?!?!!!!!!??!? :( Does ANYBODY have her contact info? She was THE BEST! Since she left, I see Tae (The only Korean guy and youngest)... Oh and that probably speaks perfect english! I've been coming here for years.. Been thru Bill, Kevin, Mary, now Tae. I've had absolutely horrible experiences with sum of the people where I had to request another masseuse or just leave. Mary was honestly the best!!! Please if anybody has her contact message me PLEASE! The place is noisy usually on Fri or Sat nites because of the ballroom next door and the walls are hella thin. There's only 1 unisex restroom in this place. And barely non of the Chinese workers speak english. I still come here tho :) read more

Clean, professional, and surprisingly affordable. Julie was my therapist and was knowledgeable and personable. The best deep tissue massage I have had. I will definitely return. read more

This was a very relaxing and professional experience. This is on par with the good "Treat Your Feet" location. I had a 1/2 body and 1/2 foot massage. The therapist was great at deep tissue. While I winced during the first 5 mins due to the strong pressure, I started to melt away soon afterwards. The foot massage was awesome. I will definitely be back, but I will get 1 hour of each massage next time. I came here on a whim because I literally walked out of Wonder Foot Spa because their therapists were all talking loudly to each other for 10 entire minutes while I waited for a service and I certainly didn't want to pay to be annoyed for an hour. I am so happy that I found this place on such short notice. read more

I have made an appointment for 2 hours body massage and food massage for my mother. I came to the store, told them what exactly she needs. but all she had received only 2 hours body massage with a little bit foot massage and payed $20 dollar more than what it should be. I spoke to the gentle man which I have realized after paid and left the store, however, instead of fixing his mistakenly charge amount, he was arguing with me as I am to be blamed not telling him when i booked the reservation. first, when I called the receptionist never have asked the questions, he was quick to hang up the phone before he even confirm the appointment. I am very happy the service I have always received specially one particular masseuse. Therefore, I have frequently used it before and recommended friends and family as well. I don't like the type of service I received when I call to make reservation. the gentleman who happened took my reservation ,needs more clear understanding what customer wants and confirm before rushing to hang up the phone without even asking the name. I am very disappointed for his overcharge for his own mistakes as well as the way he handled the issues when I brought it to his attention. read more

One of the best massages I've ever had. I'm usually very sensitive and picky when it comes to massages. My first experience wasn't as good but my sister had Michael and she said hers was amazing. If you want the best massages from here, ask for Will or Michael. I had Will and he's not a typical masseuse. He's more like a professional massage therapy. The place is cozy and massage room is nicely decorated. It looks and smells clean. I love the fact that they serve you with hot teapot and ceramic cup instead of the foam cup. The service is amazing. I don't feel rush and it feels like more than an hour. This is it. My final destination. I plan to come here at least once every two weeks as long as Will is around. read more

I did the $30 one hour foot massage with my sister and her boyfriend did the one hour head to toe massage for $40. There wasn't any wait and we were there around 7 pm. The location was next to a ballroom dance so it was pretty noisy and hard to relax. Maybe if we go at another time then it be quiet. they soaked our feet for 10 minutes in hot water to relax our muscles. Before the technician start he asked how much pressure we would like to apply which was nice. (Hard, medium, or light). Another thing I was impressed was their English. They can understand us perfectly. Our massage therapist is rather young compare to other massage places. In summary it's afford and our therapist did a great job. I give it 4 stars because of the next door ball room dance noise. You won't have a massage pain because they understand you when you say "lighter please" read more

Empress Massage II - Great place for a foot massage!! - Massage Therapy Near Me - Duluth, Georgia

This place looks like your usual Asian massage place, but I with more thought. The customer service is way better , but mainly the small touches make a huge difference. I did a walk in appointment for body massage and feet massage. They didn't have anyone available right away and asked if I would wait 15 minutes. I said no problem, but they were super apologetic! Took me back to the feet massage area, which are nice full chairs with massage mats. Had me soak and brought me a tray of tea! I've never been offered drinks at these places before, so that was a great touch! I get regular massages and so am very picky. I also have very specific areas that need extra pressure but other areas that barely like to be touched. Back and shoulder work tends to be more difficult for masseuses, since it requires more energy on their part and more pressure so it's tiring. So I was nervous about the quality of the masseuse. Typically, when I come to these places, the masseuse is not super knowledgeable and just uses a lot of pressure without actually hitting my specific problematic points. Mary, however, was different. She was awesome! Very thorough and I could tell, really put in effort into it. She actually hit all my problematic pressure points. She also spent most of the time on my shoulder and back area and didn't try to do other areas longer to reduce my shoulder and back time. She was also very good about making sure to check on me during various times in my massage to make sure pressure was good and I was enjoying my massage. I will always ask for her when I come here. I don't usually review massage places, but I felt that this place made more of an impact on me than other massage places, so I felt compelled to review. read more

This is my go to place for massages. They staff are great but sometimes I'll get ones that talks to each other too much or he lady or man managing would get up and answer the phones or talk to walk ins and it'll ruin my relax time. The off set is they won't compensate me for the time I've lost. I've been coming here for over 2 years and the staff that I like will quit on me and then I'll have to get random therapists that are nothing compare to the old ones. I've been looking around for other places such as Treat my Feet, Harmony Massage, Massage Envy...haven't found anything better yet. read more

I've gotten a few massages here over the last 2 months. Each time I was greeted at the door, and had almost no wait. The massages were great, from a friendly masseuse, and very reasonably priced. One of the worst massage I have ever gotten. I got a foot massage after the long tired day. I had high expectations thinking that it would be like the massages that I had recieved in Jersey. I paid for a hour long massage. However the first 15 minutes, this man kept poking at my foot without a genuine massage. So, I asked for a little more pressure. This man has so much anger in him and digs into my foot with so much pressure and keep hitting the same spot. I backed my foot and told him that it hurt. However he kept dugging at the same spot. I stopped him in the middle and told the owner that I only wanted 30 minutes. MY FOOT IS ALL BRUSIED UP IN THE SAME SPOT AND MY VEINS ARE POPPING OUT. This is not supposed to happen at a massage!!!!!!!! The funny thing is i asked for a bag of ice and i showed the owner my foot. But, he insists that my foot is fine and charged me for the thirty minutes of the pain and shitty massage. Im not even upset that he charged me its that I cannot properly walk right now. I dont know what I am supposed to do with this incident but I recommend not coming to this place again!!!! read more

I had a really bad experience here today. The lady did my foot massage horrible. All she did touching my feet and run in and out the massage room. I got uncomfortable and left with in 30 minutes. But they charge me full price of foot massage special ($35) plus $3 charge for using credit card or debit card. That is ridiculous. I won't ever go back there again. read more

I just got home from my 1 hour body / 1 hour foot massage. I have to say, this was the best massage I've ever gotten. I had Lisa. She worked out all of the knots in my back like air bubbles out of wallpaper. She then worked on my feet. I have plantar faciitis and shin splints. She rubbed those tendons till they cried and gave in. The only part of this experience that was disappointing was the party they had going on in the Ball Room next door. The bass was so loud and strong the massage parlor's walls rattled. But that wasn't their fault that's why I gave everything 5 stars. I highly recommend this place. I now understand the difference between an inexpensive quick massage and quality. read more

I would give this place a 0 star if I could. Do not come to this place! The lady boss is terrible!!!! I never wrote this review because I didn't use Yelp much then, but this incident happened back in March 2015 while I was on vacation. Apparently, they were short staffed, and the lady boss/receptionist had to step in to give me a massage service. I chose the 1 hr massage, and from the beginning to end, she had stopped about 5 times to answer the phone, therefore, I didn't get to enjoy the massage as I should. She was also talking in on the phone massaging with only one hand during the session. I told her she can stop if she doesn't have time because I rather not waste my time on a bad service. I didn't want to be rude so I stayed hoping that it would get better. Things just got worst from there. It was time to put the stones on my legs and she burned me with it. Then she states that my skin was too sensitive! She was so inconsiderate. Like really? I'm the customer. At the end, she demeaningly said she would give me $5 off since I had such a horrible. So she knew it was a bad experience also. But that doesn't even compensate for half of the horrible experience there. When I left, I ended up crying because I didn't stand up for myself. But never again! And people, don't go here! They have such horrible customer service. Or maybe it was just my luck to have that terrible lady which is the owner. read more

This place is TERRIBLE. The massage is good ONLY if you pick a right person (an older guys). I don't want to tell you guys the whole story that I experienced because probably it'd be too long. The receptionist/host was being rude and DEMANDING me to giving them tip before I could even open my wallet. That's SO RUDE and very unexceptionable. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND to visit this place. Extremely disappointed and I wish I could give them a zero star! read more

I've been trying out different foot massage places since my go to place is still closed for renovations and decided to try this place out tonight with a gf. We came around 7:30 and they didn't have enough staff for us so the man working at the desk asked us to come back at 8:30. We left and came back at 8:30 and were brought back to a room right away. We decided to try the $30 "special one hour foot massage" which consists of 10 minutes head/arms massage, 30 minutes feet massage, and 20 minutes of neck, back and shoulders. They start you off by soaking your feet for approximately 10 minutes then they work on your head, arms, then feet and then they flip you over onto your stomach and work on your back. I like how they start on your head first before working on your feet. Before the massage started, one of the guys came out with a little teapot and two teacups and poured us some tea which I thought was a nice touch. At other foot massage places they usually bring you tea in little styrofoam cups. After my feet soaked for 10 minutes, my massage therapist started working on my head/arms. The head massage was really nice and relaxing. After that he worked on my feet. This is where it started to go downhill. I don't know if my therapist was tired or what but he did not know what he was doing when it came to massaging my feet! It felt like he was just rubbing lotion on my feet the whole time. There was so much rubbing going on that my feet actually got really hot from the friction. There was definitely no reflexology massage going on whatsoever! It was so bad that I was laying there counting down the minutes until it was over. My gf seemed to really enjoy her massage though. She actually fell asleep during her foot rub. After he was done with my feet, he asked me to turn over onto my stomach so he could work on my back. The back massage was meh. It was better than the foot massage part but I've had better. When it was time to check out, I noticed that they have punch cards here but was informed that you have to pay in cash in order to get a mark on the card. Boo. read more

my wife wanted to treat us to some foot massage and wanted to try out a new place so we chose empress massage II to try out. We were a bit tipsy when we walked in and we told the guy up front that we want the head to toe $30 massage. As we were ushered to the room, we whispered and asked each other " did the guy up front say 2 guys ok... or 2 girls ok?". We were ushered to a room that had 2 chairs, good amount of space to not feel trapped, Tea table for lotion and kleenex,TV and some slippers you can use. At most foot massage places, they work on the foot 1st and give you a brief shoulder, back and head massage. This place worked on upper body front side 1st, than the foot and legs and than you flip over in the chair for the back. Chair is specially designed so that it reclines and has a hole for your face when you are on your stomach. As far as the massage goes, I feel like they do more of a thorough job and the chair they use is more versatile but it was not that comfortable compared to my go to place. The answer to the question 2guys or 2girls.... DING DING DING it was 2 guys. This was my 1st massage given by a guy because I didn't want make any waves while I was tipsy and I am pretty confident in my sexuality to not have a problem with another dude touching and massaging me....so I thought. I have learned that I still prefer a lady to massage me. Just something about another dude touching me thats not a fist bump hand shake or man hug.. SIGH I don't like it LOL I had injured my ankle so I asked him to not massage me in that certain area I was hurt. When he came back with the hot stones, he forgot and ran hot stone over the area I was hurt and made me jump up in pain in the middle of my massage. I usually put my noise cancelling headphones on, put on my chill jams, jazz or spa music and just zone out and relax for an hour when I go to Harmony massage on buford hwy. I think there is a huge difference when I use the headphones because usually you can hear people walking back and forth and workers and other customers talking in the background. Do keep in mind though that when you use the headphones, you can't really hear the person working on you if communication is needed. I ask the person working on me to give me 3 taps in certain way to get my attention. I just sit in the recliner chair and they do the rest without me getting up reposition. Empress massage II and many other places make you get up and reposition in the middle of relaxation and I really did not like that. so RECAP.. $30 for head to toe more thorough massage OK Multifunction versatile massage chairs OK nice room for couples OK massage by a dude Not so ok getting up to reposition during a relaxing massage Not so ok running hot stone on my injured area and making me jump in pain Not so ok try them out..they were ok to me. read more

I called to ask what time they closed and was told10pm , how much were their foot massages , and if someone was available to service a foot massage tonight. I was told yes. I let the lady that answered the phone know that I would be there at least an hour before closing and she said fine. I got there at 8:55pm the doors were locked. I signaled to the guy that I had called before coming so he let me come in. He told me I did not call and that he had been there all night. I politely took out my phone to show where the call was made a little over an hour earlier to their exact business. He kept telling me that I may have called the wrong place. I politely told him that the lady I spoke with gave me specific directions as is behind the McDonalds. He then said I didn't make an appointment and that they were all busy. Mind you, I go to the Sugarloaf Mills location all the time , rarely have an appointment and if I call am usually good. This guy insulted my intelligence because they locked the doors over an hour before they actually closed. Not only was it poor customer service, it was poor business practice. I will take my monies elsewhere, where I can be treated properly. I'm very disappointed as I love foot massages and needed one tonight. The place was empty btw. Lol. read more

I searched this place up on YELP. Called first to make an appointment. The lady who picked up the phone explained the price for body massage and deep tissue massage is the same. Even their website shows that both massages are the same price. I showed up and the masseuse said that deep tissue massage is considered to be "customized massage", therefore extra $$ for this massage. I went ahead and did it, hoping that I could talk to the manager afterwards. Instead, the man who took the payment just shook everything off. They didn't even acknowledge the "specials" on YELP. The whole thing left a bad aftertaste. Even though the massage was good, I didn't like my customer service experience here. They should honor what they say. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here again. read more
