Afterward, my insurance paid $23. Then the clinic billed me $800. When I went back to ask them to honor what I was told--or at least work with me on price given their guidance--they refused. I asked about a self-pay option; they said no because my insurance had already paid $23. No flexibility, no ownership, no accountability. From my perspective, this is the definition of a bait-and-switch: reassure the patient about coverage to green-light the visit, deliver a token insurance payment, then dump the real cost on the patient and refuse to make it right. I left feeling misled and out hundreds of dollars for a "test" they weren't confident would help in the first place. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this practice to anyone. If you do go, get every "coverage" assurance in writing, ask for CPT codes up front, and verify directly with your insurer--because the verbal promises I received were worthless. I won't be back.

After getting two treatments from another PT place, I was referred by a friend to Matt at Foothills and I'm extremely grateful Matt squeezed me in to help me with my shoulder injury, doctors wanted to do surgery but Matt suggested PT along with dry needles/deep tissue massage and it's worked out AMAZING. Talk about night and day difference between PT places, I'd definitely return if I had another injury. The care here from Matt and others is top notch.
