I was suffering from a disc/nerve issue, and was able to get an appointment fairly quick…read more Office personnel were great, MA brought me back on time. Naomi Alcock was the provider. She was fantastic. Spent time with me with assessing my issue, and then spent time going over options. Would highly recommend Desert Spine, and Naomi Alcock.

Quite possibly one of the worst bait-and-switch experiences I've ever been a part of. I confirmed…read morewith the office that my procedure would be "covered," and they even framed a "test" injection as an easy next step--while admitting they weren't sure it would help--because, again, "it's covered." Afterward, my insurance paid $23. Then the clinic billed me $800. When I went back to ask them to honor what I was told--or at least work with me on price given their guidance--they refused. I asked about a self-pay option; they said no because my insurance had already paid $23. No flexibility, no ownership, no accountability. From my perspective, this is the definition of a bait-and-switch: reassure the patient about coverage to green-light the visit, deliver a token insurance payment, then dump the real cost on the patient and refuse to make it right. I left feeling misled and out hundreds of dollars for a "test" they weren't confident would help in the first place. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this practice to anyone. If you do go, get every "coverage" assurance in writing, ask for CPT codes up front, and verify directly with your insurer--because the verbal promises I received were worthless. I won't be back.

I hate going to the Dr. In fact I'm their worst critic honestly. Having worked in the healthcare…read moreindustry for 14 years I literally hate the Dr. Office and have to be on my deathbed before I go to one. The day before Thanksgiving I had run 2 turkey trotts with my kids (6 large laps, multiple miles) of an early morning in the freezing cold. I immediately had a cough.. which turned into a cold.. which turned into wheezing and shortness of breath... which turned into 4 sleepless nights and the feeling of suffocating while still alive# :( Talk about a nightmare. I pray to God I never die suffocating. The worst feeling ever! I went to Fast Med and they got me right in. They took it seriously that I couldnt breath and they stabalized me within 15 to 20 minutes of my visit. They were quick to get my vitals. The doc came in (Dr. Claire) she was so gentle and sweet but straight to the point. My kind of gal... No bullshit she handled business but most Dr.'s these days are what i like to call Rx happy and that means they like to write scripts and send patients packing. This is how they get patients in and out but most of the time the drugs they are prescribing arent the right drugs because they didnt spend enough time asking the right kind of questions to get to the real diagnosis and then youre back in the office again before you know it with worse side effects than what you originally came down with. Silliness. Dr. Claire knew what she was doing I could sense she cared and i wasn't just a random number patient she had seen over the Thanksgiving holiday. She didnt just send me packing with drugs she administered breathing treatments (plural). She checked my vitals in between and sent me home feeling 10,000% better with the right medications for follow up care and she told me the right way to administer and made sure i knew what each med was going to do for me to get well again. I was so exhausted from trying to breathe normal for 4 days and now I'm breeyhing again and im ready for a nap and I know it'll be the best sleep ive had in a weeks time thanks to dr. Claire and her staff. Ive been to other Dr. And Urgent Cares across the valley... This one hands down was the best ive ever experienced.

Little things such as walking to my kitchen from my bedroom was so difficult for me.... walking from my car into the building I work in.. it was impossible. After working with Steven for 7 weeks my knee is completely back to being normal with a wide range of motion. I am able to do the things I couldn't just 7 weeks ago!!!!! I am so ecstatic that spark was the answer to over a year of ongoing issues. Ive decided that since Steven has been amazing to work with, very informative, patient and professional about what he does... I signed me and my husband up for monthly 1:1 training to stay in shape so the issue doesn't come back. Steven is now helping to align my structure and I've been able to get back into gym!!! I got my life back! I couldn't be more happy and thankful that there was someone who wanted me to heel, who cheered me on and pushed me to keep going. I still remember when I met him I said, "I just want help, someone to care enough to help me get better and not just suggest meds" And spark performance has granted that.

I have had the pleasure of working with Foothills Sports Medicine during two different recovery…read moreperiods in the last 3 years. I have been to 4 other PT clinics through the years, but Foothills on north Power and Brown stands out as the best in my experience. Amazing group of professionals First, the initial consultation/assessment is extremely well done- Doug had prepared for my first appointment by knowing my current situation, had reviewed my xray and images ahead of time and got right to the assessment. Doug's in-depth knowledge of how to treat my joints, muscles, tissue and major spinal hardware and the interconnections with my knees, hips and back following my recent back surgery was impressive to say the least. He comes up with a personalized action plan and we jump right in and get to work. The staff was/is amazing - showing how to do exercises, walking me through the ways to protect my current physical limitations while also motivating me to feel my body 's reactions to the exercises. The variety of treatments (love the warming up with heat blankets/pads!), needling, compresses, stretches and exercises shows that this is not your typical Physical Therapy Clinic! Office Staff, Therapist staff, Doug -- all an extraordinary group of professionals working together to get my aches and pains on the way to recovery. Thank you all at Foothills Sports Medicine for helping me feel at ease (I'm not overly sport/exercise savvy!) and getting me on my way to hopefully being pain free and more active following some significant surgeries. Great place!
