Sergio Alvarado and his crew at EmpireWorks are doing what will amount to a year long job of dry rot repair and replacement in our community. They are awesome!! They are the most professional crew of guys I've ever seen! They have great work ethic and integrity in the job they're doing. Humble, friendly, and helpful. They show up on time everyday and clean up everything at the end of the work day. Thank you. I am so happy with the HOA's choice of awarding this contract to EmpireWorks! read more

I am reviewing the workers. The company is fine, but they do pick the very best workers. Their Boss is Samuel and he is always efficient and attentive. They are kind, professional, hard working. They are always on time and on the clock. They are respectful and helpful and pleasant. They work hard without complaints. And amongst themselves you can hear them chatting happily and laughing often, seemingly happy with their jobs. In a nutshell, our Condominium project called Quiet Harbor has a contract with them for months and they move through the project with very little disruption. They work with you if you must walk a dog or go on out, so one is not forced to be a shut-in. I am impressed with this team, and they are a team that works together smoothly. I don't know a thing about the management or people on the Inside, but the workers are the best! Barbara , 501 Timbercove #4. read more

Gustavo Garcia -- I can't forget the name. An amazing guy. In fact, the entire team at EmpireWorks is truly commendable. They are excellent at their work, extremely humble, and always willing to help. I had the opportunity to experience their professionalism firsthand, along with their attention to even the smallest details, which resulted in exceptional work. I'm really glad that our HOA decided to award the contract to EmpireWorks. Special thanks to Brett for building such a wonderful team." read more

Shout out to Empire for the great job of painting our Meadows complex in San Rafael. Each person I've come in contact with has been so gracious and hardworking. Its been a grueling job plus they all have to commute distances to get here... Some of the names I have are Julio and Gabriel. I think all the crew deserves a shout out!!! read more

We had an amazing experience with Gustavo and his team! They were professional, kind, and incredibly patient with us throughout the entire process. We had a very heavy fountain in the backyard that needed to be moved, and they not only worked around it carefully but also moved it back once the painting was finished without any issues. On top of that, my car has been dead in the drive way and they helped me jump it so it could be moved to paint the front of the house. Highly recommend them if you're looking for painters who genuinely care and go the extra mile! read more

So glad we decided to hire Empire Works for the dry rot repairs and paint project in one of the communities I manage in San Ramon. Thanks to Brett Jarnagin, the entire process has been seamless. From creating the repair matrix to being available for homeowner questions, Brett and his team have truly taken ownership of the project. I also want to acknowledge Gustavo and his crew for their accountability, attention to detail, and for keeping the community clean and tidy throughout the work. I highly recommend Empire Works for your next project! read more

What a terrific job by foreman Pedro Aguilar along with his team of painters at our HOA. They each deserve their own 5 star review! As foreman Pedro is onsite working and readily available to all residents/homeowners to address any and all of their questions or concerns. They begin promptly at 8:00 and there is no slacking off. They have taken great care with the HOA's landscape as well as our individual yards and patios. They are organized and their finished product is careful and neat. I understand that Pedro has worked for many years with Empire, as have his team mates, which speaks well of EmpireWorks as a whole. They have all been excellent representatives of the company. read more

Pedro and his crew did a timely, clean and organized job at our residential complex in Vintage Terrace. The result was a fresh, beautiful looking townhomes that had all the damaged sidings replaced and all of the surfaces neatly painted. All this was done with minimal disruption and great care. Thank you so much EmpireWorks! Keep up the good work!! read more

Juan Martinez, the supervisor, and his wonderful team did an awesome job reconstructing our balcony! They were very helpful and friendly, and they finished this big job in only 1 week. We also had a lot of stuff on our balcony that needed to be moved in order to reconstruct it, but they were kind enough to help us move our heavy items, which was very thoughtful since I have a disabled and elderly father. This team is hardworking, and on top of all that, they are very trustworthy and reliable. Although the reconstruction was part of the condo facility maintenance, I would hire Juan and his team immediately if I have any personal projects for reconstruction in the future. Thanks again guys! Great job! read more

Pedro did an amazing job at Loren Miller Homes. His paint job was extremely detailed and professional. Thank you so much.

Our HOA selected Empire Works to do siding inspection ahead of a paint project. We were given quotes and able to work with Empire Works or select our own vendor for the actual repairs. After looking at two other bids, my neighbor and I selected to move ahead with Empire Works - their bid was competitive and they were professional at all times. Dealing with the office, because it's larger, could sometimes be a bit of a challenge. Our actual account exec I guess you'd say, Brett, was always willing to help and discuss options but I could only get support from him. The main office never knew who I was or how to help. So a little frustrating but since Brett shared his contact info and was easy to get in touch with, it worked out fine. We had quite extensive repairs on our unit (35 years old and no significant prior repairs prior to when we purchased it) and the work team was here for ~7.5 business days across two weeks. Juan was our site team lead and he and his crew were very professional; they worked to avoid damaging the landscape and were very respectful of our property. They did a great job, communicated well their start times and when they were leaving each day. We have dogs and they were always cautious to make sure they cleaned up nails, etc, in the yard so we could let the dogs out after they left for the day. They did great work and the house looks great - now we are just waiting for the HOA paint project to commence so Empire can do that as well and the house will look brand new again! read more

EmpireWorks Painting and Construction is a grade A, top notch company. I can't say enough great things about them. I'm a board member of our HOA and I immediately got a good vibe from the team that came out to meet us to go over the painting and siding dry-rot fixes. We met with the team leader, construction foreman, painting foreman, and color consultant. I felt they were able to answer all of our questions and cover all the bases from pricing to logistics. Once the work started, they created a small staging area in our parking lot and the crews were there every day (weather permitting) and let me tell you, they were fast, efficient, but most importantly, friendly! They stopped and answered all of my questions no matter when I happened to see them.  After the job was done, any touchup work was happily completed by the team. If you're looking for a painting and construction company to work on your complex or housing community, EmpireWorks will have your back and get the job done and do it well. The entire community has had nothing but praise for the work they did for us. Thank you, EmpireWorks! read more

Julio did a great job painting our door. Kudos to him and his team for a job well done to all the units in our area.

Let me by saying this company is a gem to work with. The workers arrive on time and never fail to do an amazing job! One person, specifically, Gustavo, I can't say enough about him. Gustavo is a wealth of knowledge and experience. He brings the greatest smile with him. He never said "no" to us! The value of what we got versus the cost is invaluable! read more

Juan Martinez and his team repaired the dry rot on my house. Juan took the time to explain everything to me and was not condescending like most contractors that I encounter. What a breath of fresh air. This is how you build trust. The dry rot was all cleaned up. He even took the blower to my backyard to clean up the debris, my backyard looked better than it looked before they started. If I ever need any construction work done in the future I would call EmpireWorks and request Juan Martinez and his crew!! Thanks so much Juan! Great Job!! read more

Empire had the contract to do the dry rot inspection/repair and painting for the Townhouses where I live here in Pleasanton. It has been going well but today they came to paint the doors. We were asked to schedule an appointment for this. Last time our doors were painted there was no prep and it resulted in lots of cracks, peeling and bare metal. So this time I did my own prep with what skills I had. Today Pedro came right on time, ended up doing additional prep and cleaning and then primed. While that dried with me asking he checked the side garage door since it had been painted when closed and quickly remediated it. By then the primer was dry he checked it, laid tarps, checked the tape job and did the actual painting. He told me how long to leave it open to dry, cleaned up and left. He was friendly, professional and thorough. Remarkably fast too. A really impressive job! read more

Our HOA hires the crew to pressure wash and paint the wood trim around our buildings. They were all polite and provide ample amount of notice ahead of time. On the day of the work I met Juan Mendoza who helped me moved items from my backyard (Large planters, plants, dog house etc) before he did pressure washing. Juan was very nice and showed me what type of work he was doing. When he finished his work he alerted me before leaving. Thanks Juan, keep up the good work! read more

Julio was the lead on our project in our facility. He was very good at communicating and letting us know what was happening when. When I asked for a bit of additional paint in case I needed for the future he did not hesitate to help me out. It is incredible how quickly they moved through this job and with such a efficiency. This is a very good crew. Empire works did a professional and clean job. They finished my particular unit in only two days time and left no remnants. The only downfall to this project was the paint color that our HOA selected as it is atrocious, but that is not their fault whatsoever lol read more

They've been working in our backyard for a HOA project, and we've come home to see they've trampled our plants (we can't move the ones that are in the ground!), flooded our backyard, and left the power outlet open... What happened here? They even littered a water bottle on the floor. Our backyard was a little messy before (wish I took a before photo) but don't think we wouldn't notice if you left your garbage in our yard (and not to mention absolutely trash everything else). The next day, our outdoor slippers lost their pairs again, but this time the other shoe wasn't in our yard... what did they do?? They've absolutely trashed our yard. They have no respect for their customers' property. I don't like writing reviews like this, but I'm really shocked at the lack of respect. The one bright side is they moved some of our plants that were close to the wall away from the wall when power washing. Thank you... if only you could've been so kind to the rest of the yard. Even our roses got ruined. :( The next day? Even worse. Check out the picture of the aftermath. I have no idea why the HOA hired this company when less than 4 years ago the whole place was repainted already (and I don't remember our yard getting thrashed, so either it was a different company that was much much better or the workers were much much better then). I don't trust any of the glowing reviews on this page. HOA and homeowners, do yourself a favor and don't hire EmpireWorks. Please don't. And the repair work was shoddy. They've replaced a perfectly fine panel with one that's too short and thin. Now it doesn't match the other panel. And they added a random brace in the middle of the fence, needlessly ripping our fruit vines off. Later they returned the other slipper. I still have no idea where it went and why they would have to take it for a few days. I don't understand why they felt the need to work evenly on every person's house at the same time with a small crew. If they just finished one house at a time, they wouldn't have had to disrupt every house for several weeks straight. And at the end they didn't even finish the job. A week later after they stopped working on everyone in this area's houses, they still haven't painted any of the house numbers after painting over it. It's now green numbers over green wood, when it used to be white over green. Now it's invisible and harder for delivery to find. I'm sorry, I wish I were writing a glowing review too. read more

The entire crew was extremely courteous and polite. They had to paint my building over the holidays which could not have been easy but they had such professional and positive attitudes even when our comings and goings disrupted their work. They did a great job covering plants, cars, our belongings in the carport, when painting the exterior, they even moved my patio furniture further because I hadn't created enough space for them. Forman Eli Neria was exceptional. He followed up and went beyond his job to make sure I was happy with the results. read more

My homeowner association hired EmpireWorks to rebuild concrete stair steps that had been around for 40 years and started to crumble. They did a really great job! They let the residents know ahead of time and very clearly what was going to happen, they were very responsive to any question we had, they worked quickly and thoroughly, and they gave us a walkthrough at the end to control the work done. Their price was also quite reasonable. Overall, we are very pleased with this company and we are definitely going to hire them again for future projects. read more
