The address listed for this business is an apartment which I believe is illegal to run a business from a residence. I'm assuming they are dodging tax by not providing me a receipt. I really need this receipt as we sold our home and need to provide to the new buyer. I have a couple of stars because they did a pretty good job. I will report them to the BBB for not providing an invoice as well as running a business from a residence. Also I thought they charged a bit high for the amount of work that they did. I would definitely get an estimate and shop around before using them in the future, especially if you need warranty or an invoice.

The drain vent that emits gas to the outside had been cut leading me to believe that they used unlicensed plumbers. After hiring a plumber and never being reimbursed for that, they came back in and I told Kimberly Hawks partner, Rafael that the drain had to be lowered. He failed to lower the drain and I am still unable to use the bathroom. I was charged for shelves that were never built, they installed a barn door and it is six inches to narrow. I would never recommend this company as Kim contacted me because of my reviews but never once offered to reimburse me or to fix the problems.

We were scheduling a lot of repairs to the house - drywall repair, carpet repair, moving company to move us in, etc. Point being, there were a lot of moving parts here and Roberts Carpet communicated beautifully throughout the process of when the carpet would arrive, when it could be installed, etc. This was critical as we were doing the painting and the drywall repairs first. Then had the carpet done, then moved our belongings into the house. Robert's carpet stayed right on schedule as promised and did a wonderful job! Joe, the salesperson, wasn't very friendly from the beginning, but since I really needed the hardwood, I decided to go ahead with the purchase. I noticed an extra $75.00 charge on the receipt and asked him what was that about and I was told it was the charge to have the product delivered. He didn't seem to be willing to explain where the product would be delivered to - my house, that store, somewhere else - and I had to keep asking again and again until he finally said I would need to pick it up at a warehouse. At which point, I asked why the delivered charge even existed, since I would have to pick up the product myself, and he said it was "for gas". By the time I noticed the charge, I had already paid for it, but I think he should have informed me about the charge beforehand and explained properly that I would have to go and pick it up. He told me I would get a phone call the following Monday or Tuesday (I made the purchase on Saturday) from the warehouse for me to pick up the boxes. He said twice, pointing the finger at my face, to not call the warehouse, which I found even more strange and unreasonable. I waited Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and nobody contacted me, so I decided to call Wednesday afternoon. Bill, the person who answered the phone informed me that the paperwork related to my order had arrived on Tuesday (the day Joe told me I would receive a call from the warehouse to pick up the product) and they would probably receive it on Thursday. It felt really bad to find out I had been lied to by the salesperson and to have been treated in such a patronizing and disrespectful way.
