Excellent Communication! Beautiful Work! Friendly Staff! Patty was very knowledgeable. I was happy to hear her go into detail over the phone because it made me realize she was not new at this. I chose this company because they use a superior product (urethane) opposed to the less expensive but duller looking epoxy which I regretted getting in my last house. I didn't realize that epoxy turns yellow so when my last floor turned yellow after 6 months I promised myself I would never use epoxy again. And I'm glad I didn't! I had this floor by Houston Garage Floors installed in 2018 and it still looks good! I wanted to wait a year before I wrote a review just in case it yellowed like the epoxy floor did but it hasn't. Their charity work was icing on the cake. read more

Love my new garage floors. They came to check the moisture level of my existing garage floor first and take measurements. Then it only took a day to inch and it looks fabulous! read more

Wanted to wait a bit to better assess before submitting a review a though six months clearly isn't long enough in the big picture, for this sort of application but thus far, my experience with both product and service has been simply fantastic! I was in the process of completing our new home build and had epoxy garage flooring on my list of things to include. Nearing the end of construction, everything was coming together quickly; house was near done, movers were scheduled for 6/16, landscaping ongoing, painters finishing up, cabinet hardware yet to be installed etc.... Given the schedule, I knew that I needed to have my garage floor done on 6/15 -OR- after move-in, which meant, probably not ever... I almost decided to just live without rather than exploring what could be done. Could it be coated on Monday and walked on on move-in day-Tuesday being the primary concern. Answer: YES! Don and a helper showed up as scheduled/9:30am process took most of the day, very detailed, more time spent on prep than actual application (a good thing), job was completed by 5p. I was able to walk-on same evening, looked great, an overall marvelous outcome! Now, though just six months gone by, I am so glad that I "squeezed" this last second detail in, as it's one of many, favorite aspects of our new home build. Can't hardly imagine not having done/would have seriously regretted. I highly recommend HGF's and they'd be my only choice if I were to ever be in need this sort of work in the future! read more

Houston Garage Floors - Cavedweller w/heavy chips... - Flooring Near Me

I spent several months researching companies and I found that Houston Garage Floors website thoroughly explained the process. From there I did additional research and Don and Patty were able to answer all of my questions in detail. I not only had had a fabulous experience, I also received a high-quality product at a reasonable price. The process was explained, options discussed, they showed up at agreed-upon time, and left nothing behind except for a gorgeous garage floor. Thank you Don for making my dream garage a reality! read more

Used these guys for my most recent remodels, and was super happy w the quality of work and pricing!

Had several concerns about renovating my garage. Don was patient and courteous. Work was completed in one day in a timely manner. Amazed at how CLEAN they were. Not one drop of trash or spill. I'm very happy with my final result. It was a very good experience and I was worried I'd be taken advantage of financially but Don was fantastic with explaining every step of the process and the cost. Would recommend them to everyone!! read more

After doing my research I settled with this company. The website was very thorough with details and explained a lot. After calling the company and speaking with Patty (owner's mother) for 15-20 mins over the different options I pulled the trigger. A couple of days later Patty was out at my 3-car garage taking a look. Showed me some samples and explained everything very well. There I signed a paper contract and provided 2/3 of the full payment which is required to get things rolling (the remainder is due after services completed). Don (the owner) showed up at my house as scheduled and provided excellent communication of his ETA via texts. Upon arriving he covered part of my driveway with a plastic tarp and parked his van on that. He was very careful to make sure no epoxy or product ended up where it shouldn't. He was at my residence for around 4 hours a day for two days. As I am accustomed to random workers showing up to do the job, Don did everything start to finish. I'm not sure if this is always his practice but I was very pleased to see the person who knows what he is doing taking extra care to do the job right. I opted for the "Option 3" package which is a full broadcast of chips on the floor. This is why it took two days. I am extremely picky with how jobs are done and Don exceeded every expectation. PROs: - Excellent communication - Amazing job! - Courteous owner & mother team - Punctual time - Final product CONs: - There really isn't a bad thing about it all, but if I had to pick something. It would be the cost. Getting Option 3 on a 3-car garage isn't cheap BUT! It was worth every penny as I couldn't have asked for a better job. The final product was perfect with only a couple of mishaps I found - which weren't caused by Don whatsoever. A couple of moths made it into the garage and stuck to the clear coat, which happened the night the clear coat was curing. They were easily removed with EXTREME care and a razor blade. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again! Thank you so much! read more

I just relocated to Houston in June 2018 and hired the team at Houston Garage Floors and they did an outstanding job. Their website is very informative and clearly defines the packges they offer and what each one includes. I literally had no issues with anything, from the initial phone communications, contractually, or the quality of the work. Everything was seemless and I am completely satisfied with the entire process. If you like to hire contactors who are ethical and professional, then Houston Garage Floors is the place to call. https://www.houstongaragefloors.com read more

Bought a new home and hated the dusty old garage floor. Don and crew came out and did the heavy broadcast chip floor and it looks amazing. If you are planning to do your garage floor I recommend paying the extra money and going all out with the full chip floor. The clear coat gives it an amazing show room quality finish. Fast, professional service! read more

I'm so happy! I've had a finished garage floor before, but not at my current residence. It makes such a huge difference with dust and clean up, not to mention how awesome it looks. I selected Houston Garage Floor based on a google search, their website, and reading reviews. Well, based on my experience, I don't think the reviews give them enough credit. They are up front, fair, professional, and friendly. On top of that, they really seem to care about doing a good job. Floor looks awesome. I would do it again in a heartbeat! read more

I would do my homework before I hired a company. My family had previously used another company a couple of times but they were busy, so I used this company. The work was not the same. The crew they speak of consist of the owner and a helper that does the flooring, plus the mother that obviously handles phone calls and takes out contracts to be signed. The mother came to my home with the contract for me to sign AND collect one half of the money a couple of days before the work was done. After signing the contract I requested a copy of it a couple of times, but the mother stated that I could take a picture of it with my cell phone. Any questions you have, they keep referring back to their contract that you don't have a copy of. After the work was completed I called them a couple of times asking why they did not paint up the sides of the walls like the other company did and they said I did not buy that package and that this is stated on their website. They offered no alternatives. Their job looks like an unfinished project if you compare the two companies! All I can say is . . . BE SURE TO GET A COPY OF THE CONTRACT IN WRITING BEFORE ANY WORK IS DONE. My floor has spots on it that obviously were not sealed. Now I wonder why I didn't see any reviews for 3 years! read more

if you want an awesome looking garage floor, look no further than calling houston garage floors. i did extensive research on epoxy floor service providers in houston before choosing them and i'm glad i did. first of all, they use a diamond grinder to prep your concrete floor, this takes 3-4 hours, but it is much cleaner and more environmentally friendly than acid washing. secondly, they use TWO coats of epoxy to ensure the best seal and finish. on top of that, they will do another coat of clearcoat to give the floor an additional layer of protection as well as make it look super shiny and easier to clean. the crew that came was professional and meticulous. i highly recommend this company and am very happy with their work. read more

Houston Garage Floors - double coat special with clearcoat, gray floor with medium broadcast - Flooring Near Me

I recently contracted with Houston Garage Floors to apply their Sherman Williams Double Coat Special. After price shopping, Houston Garage floors had the most competitive price. The company is really easy to deal with. I handled everything over the phone and emailed the contract back to them. I didn't even have to take off work to let the crew in. Everything was done while I was at work. My garage floor was a little rough and they adequately prepped the concrete by diamond grinding. When I returned home this evening, I was highly impressed with the appearance level of the floor and would highly recommend Houston Garage Floors to friends and family. read more

After much research and online searching I settled on Houston Garage Floors to do my garage floor. I was so impressed with the quality of work, cost of the project, and positive interaction with Don (the owner) and his crew that I had balconies on our two condos in Point West, Galveston done. I am more than pleased with all three jobs. This was a truly rare experience of having my expectations completely exceeded. Two areas that stood out was the excellent communication with Don as well as the attention to detail on keeping the entire affected area immaculately clean. I don't often post reviews but felt that I had to do this one. read more

I can not stress enough how fantastic Don, and the team at Houston Garage floors are. My garage was a tough job, alot of cracks, holes, and poor quality concrete. I was quoted a fantastic price over the phone, and even though my garage would be much more difficult than a normal one, he honored the price and did a fantastic job. I can be very picky and Don worked with me to sort out even the tiniest of details. I highly recommend Houston Garage floors. read more

Plenty of other epoxy companies in Houston. Not proactive at calling potential customers back.

Great work product. A true sign of a successful company is not just how they deliver but also how they handle mistakes. We were a little dissatisfied with the results upon completion of the garage floor, and we said so. Within a day, Houston Garage Floor was back on site re-applying the finish to our satisfaction. We didn't expect the dedication to customer service, so we are very happy with our experience and the results. Thank you! read more

I recently contacted Don at Houston Garage Floors after seeing the work they did at my brothers house. I have an older home with a very beat up garage floor, but this was not an issue. Don and his crew were very responsive to my questions and the whole process involves minimal effort from the customer side, you do not even need to be home. We did have an issue with the first application not drying correctly but as soon as I notified Don, he came out the next day to re-grind the floor and apply another coat of epoxy (this was during the Christmas break too). The finished product looks great and it is nice to find a company that stands behind their product and makes sure the customer is happy. read more

I was completely satisfied with the job that Don and his team did on my 15 year old garage. When we bought this house in August, I had planned to epoxy coat the floor with a kit from the big box store. The more I read on the internet about the importance of surface prep, I rented a grinder to take the paint off the floor. It was after that experience, I realized I needed to do more research before I coated the floor. I found Don's site and read his book. It convinced me that I needed an expert to do the work. I can't tell you how good this floor looks! The cracks are fixed and it has a showroom shine that my neighbors are envious of. You can't go wrong with Houston Garage Floors! I highly recommend them! read more

Houston Garage Floors! Look no further for a high quality fit and finish and great customer service! They just recently did my Two Car Garage in the Tan Heavy Broadcast and the advertisement that it looks like Granite...NO LIE! Don and his crew spared no expense to do a first class professional installation and delivered on the results! I would highly recommend Houston Garage Floors to any and everyone if you want a showroom quality floor for an amazing deal! You will not be disappointed...Just give Don a call! read more

I am very pleased with the outcome of my garage floor. I did my research and they came across as the most knowledgeable. Great job of keeping the garage clean and not damaging walls as they went along all their steps and processes. Great price and I would strongly suggest using Houston Garage Floors. I have been showing the neighbors and really hated to put things back in so I could admire the work longer. I used a medium heavy broadcasting on chips which I recommend. Has a granite look with great traction. read more
