He spent over four hours conducting our inspection on a new construction and left us feeling very confident about our choice. He was very courtesy and professional, prompt and very well equipped to conduct every facet of a thorough inspection. All issues were marked with painter's tape for the seller to address and were referenced in the report he provided us with. As a licensed contractor he was even able to highlight some areas where materials were not installed per the manufacturers' directions and could be cause for warranty issues later. After he had completed the inspection, he went over all the issues he had found and would be including in the report as well as giving me some pointers for some tips and tricks for decreasing maintenance on the home down the road and just general upkeep. We received the report the first thing the next day and it served as the source document for any and all issues he needed addressed prior to the closing. The report was very well written, clear and specific and far from a simple check in the box report. I can say confidently that if you choose 4 square for an home inspection that you will have a much greater understanding of the purchase you are about to make, or may decide to steer clear of. -Dax Richlands, NC

I live in Northern Va and took on the role facilitating the rebuild of my parents' home remotely because they are both in their golden years. Southern Leisure Builders and more specifically employee, Paul Andryshak, were a true blessing. Paul Andryshak and his staff went out of their way to completely replace the patio covering on the home and they also went the extra step in referring us to a general contractor that could rebuild the parts of the home which were not in scope for what Southern Leisure Builders focused on. You truly have to respect a company that is going to give your 5-Star quality service and work while at the same time having the integrity to admit where they to do specialize and refer you out to another quality company. I will definitely refer this outstanding company to anyone who is looking to have patio repaired or replaced. The patio on my parents' home is the area where the family gathers when we are all home for holiday occasions and we depend on it to provide comfort from the sun and shade. Southern Leisure Builders recommended that we install a ceiling fan within the patio and we are very happy that we did. The ceiling fan added just the right touch of class to make the patio look amazing as an attachment on the home. Integrity, honesty and fairness with 5-Star work is not often found in once company but you will find it in Southern Leisure Builders.

I hate to admit it but I don't write reviews enough, good or bad. Sadly, the negative ones get…read morewritten more often by people than the positive ones & it seems to be that way for most every business I see reviews on. So, after having an amazing experience with Atlantic Construction & then seeing a few negative reviews here we knew we wanted to write a good one for them! With only 15 negative reviews on Google & 2 here on Yelp, & they are building, & have built, THOUSANDS of homes, that is pretty darn good when you think about it. It's certainly no where near enough negatives to keep us from choosing them as our builder when we see how little that is overall. We met Atlantic builders in March 2019 after our realtor that was listing our home at the time told us about them since we were looking & she introduced us to them. We decided to write our review now & tell people how pleased we have been with this whole group of people & how great of a job they did for us! Every one of them have been so kind, hard working & friendly from the day we chose them as our builder to even now, 3 weeks after we've moved in. These guys went over & above the normal expected work duties many times & we appreciated every bit of it! We had our home built just 3 miles away from the house we were in so it was very easy for us to drive by & watch it going up pretty much every single day! We were very excited of course! We made sure not to bother any of the workers or walk onto the property unless Josh, the Site Supervisor, was with us. We respected the workers space but it was just fun for us to drive by & see it taking shape almost daily. Josh was awesome & kept us posted on many different things. We learned quickly that the house got inspected constantly it seemed, which actually made us feel good because we knew everyone had to do their jobs right to pass each time & move on to the next step. We chose the Connie plan & absolutely love it! We bought it just by the looking at the floor plans & it's perfect for us! We have had a few small mishaps along the way but nothing terrible & nothing they weren't right on to fix! I saw someone post being upset about a broken screen on a window & honestly, as well as we know them all now & how they work, if we see something that's not right we don't even worry about it because we know they will fix it right away! A small issue here & there on the building of a whole house is normal I think. This is our 3rd home we've had built in 25 years & Atlantic has been the best so far with the smoothest transition of all. They helped us get in right before hurricane Dorian came through & we actually went through a tornado that Dorian spawned also. Went right over us! We were so happy to see that our brand new home didn't lose a shingle or a piece of siding or anything through all that. The tornado is the only thing that caused some damage on our street but our home stood strong & stayed perfect! I know this was a long review but they deserve it! I know people look at reviews like we do & some make decisions based on the reviews so we just wanted to say that we highly recommend them! We have a beautiful home & we also want to give a HUGE shout out to Josh! He is one hard worker no doubt & will take great care of you & look out for you every step of the way! They all will! I would like to add a photo because our home is so pretty but I need to take one without our cars in the way & the garage door open. Maybe I can add one later. If you're looking at these guys to build your home & your reading this, definitely do like we did & consider how little negative reviews they really have compared to how many homes they've built & are building now. In the big picture, these guys are amazing, this company is honest & hard working & there's a reason they've been around so long & build so many homes! :)

Floors ,walls, trim work an A. 3. Cabinetry. Astetically attractive. However, cheap quality , poor workmanship, water stains repaired with an overlay instead of new drawers. No show on return to repair bad repair. D grade on this one. 4. Doors. Strike plate incorrectly installed and drilled out. Couple doors won't stay closed. C grade. 5. Electrical . Missing 6 GFIs in kitchen, both bathrooms. NC state electrical code states GFIs be placed within 6 feet of any water source. This of course is a serious safety code violation. This of course gets an F grade. 6. Lawn and property preparation. The sod in has many dead spots, however, the greater issues are the complete lack of attention to properly clearing the property of buried metal fence posts and construction debris encompassing metal 6 metal fence posts,5 large framing braces, and a half bag of construction screws thus far. Obviously, this is a safety hazard to children and anyone else. A hard F grade again on this one. 7. Repair follow up. Great until the contract was signed. Afterwards, Cabinets drawers that were water damaged weren't replaced, they install crooked hastily done overlays, with no return to repair again as promised. Requests to remove the metal post sticking up 12 inches in the middle of the yard fell upon deaf ears as well. In short ,I am currently experiencing the same problems other people have listed in the negative reviews here. Thus far I can only give complaint resolution an D- Grade. I'm 1 month at this location so I'll make a list and see if the 1 year home warranty is as good as the paper it's written on. Only time will tell. In closing, I would urge people to examine the reviews listed on this site , check out many builders as their not all the same in quality, make an informed, pragmatic, choice . If their are any issues, save yourself the aggravation .make a list and hand it to an attorney, they'll get it done and save you the headache. Good luck everyone.
