If I had to redo this experience, I would not choose this company. Communication was terrible, and…read morethey couldn't even provide the install dates I initially requested. Nathalie needs to improve her communication. However, the contractor they used did a great job with the installation. My experience is detailed below: I initially wanted my floors installed the week of June 16th, which was communicated during contract negotiations and agreed upon. After the deposit was paid, I was informed that they had to move us up to the week of June 2nd due to another installation. If we didn't accept that date, we would have had to wait until July. On the day the materials were delivered, we were not informed that they needed to be placed inside the house rather than in the garage, which caused issues due to other circumstances. On installation day, communication between the supplier, Floors Unlimited, and myself was terrible, resulting in an unnecessary argument. Lastly, regarding the final payment, Rebecca stated she would send the aftercare paperwork and invoice by mail. It has been two weeks, and I still have not received them. Receiving mail from a company less than 20 miles away should not take two weeks.

He's a NC licensed (Q.104901) & insured general contractor...yeah I did my homework... so expect him to bring a higher level of expertise to the job. I speak from personal experience that Jim is on the job doing the work himself or ensuring the job is done to his demanding expectations. He just finished our down-to-the-studs kitchen & half bath renovation in our 1980's built home....everything from removing outdated florescent lighting, popcorn ceilings, dropped soffits, a wooden backsplash, non-vented cooktop exhaust, improperly installed granite countertops and failing cabinets. The only thing left was the existing porcelain tile floors. We now have much taller solid wood cabinets, recessed & under cabinet lighting, spectacular quartz countertops, a properly vented cooktop exhaust as well as an intricate herringbone tile backsplash! Since we eliminated the cabinets above the cooktop, he suggested a tall narrow cabinet recessed into the wall to the right of the cooktop which provided easy access to the items needed for daily cooking. He's definitely a problem solver! Plus he replaced the frustrating wire shelving in the pantry with custom built shelving which provided tons of additional storage. With the removal of the dropped soffits, our kitchen feels much larger without adding any additional square footage. He also renovated a half bath that only had a shower and a toilet...no sink! Didn't get a before picture, but have included an after. All I can say is I'm in love with my dream kitchen and new bath! Reach out to Jim to discuss your project. Much like a MAGA or Trump flagHonestly, it made me hesitate before I even opened the door. Once inside, I mentioned how it made me feel to the woman at the front desk, and another woman sitting in an office about ten feet behind me, with her door open, overheard and laughed. Whatever the intent behind the vehicles, laughing at a customer who raises a concern isn't acceptable. Beyond that, it says something about how this business is run that management lets employees take up prime customer parking right at the door.
