Short Story: The best local roofing company you will find!…read more The morning Hurricane Idalia came through I discovered a leak in an upstairs bedroom. Immediate triage revealed a long term slow leak in my attic in which my decking was rotting and soft. Considering my house is only three years old you can imagine my displeasure. Started calling roofing companies immediately and with the rain still falling take a guess how many answered or called me back. Out of at least nine only one answered. Jennifer was one of the nicest people and actually followed through with calling me back within ten minutes to let me know Mr. Romero would be out within an hour. He showed up in 45 minutes and got right to it, sealing off the leak with an anchored GAF tarp. He even cleaned out my gutter downspouts while up there. Who does that these days? He wouldn't accept payment and said he could come out within a few days to replace the decking and shingles. I received an estimate via email within the hour and was taken back by his more than fair pricing. True to his word he was back within the week and my roof is like new again. During this process I learned Mr. Owen Romero owns the company, has a little over a dozen roofers working for him, is an honest family man and cares about his customers. The entire process was one of the most positive experiences I've ever had with a contractor. From Jennifer in the office, the communication, quality of work, price and the fact he provided pictures of everything he did spoke volumes to me. Whether you are in need of a repair, a new roof or building a house OD Roofing is the company to call. They do it all from metal, flat and traditional shingles. If you are a roofer in Eastern NC just know OD Roofing put you on notice. I hope I never need to call him again but if I do, I look forward to the services he provides. Thank you Owen, Jennifer and the OD Roofing family. You will always have a friend in me.

I live in Northern Va and took on the role facilitating the rebuild of my parents' home remotely because they are both in their golden years. Southern Leisure Builders and more specifically employee, Paul Andryshak, were a true blessing. Paul Andryshak and his staff went out of their way to completely replace the patio covering on the home and they also went the extra step in referring us to a general contractor that could rebuild the parts of the home which were not in scope for what Southern Leisure Builders focused on. You truly have to respect a company that is going to give your 5-Star quality service and work while at the same time having the integrity to admit where they to do specialize and refer you out to another quality company. I will definitely refer this outstanding company to anyone who is looking to have patio repaired or replaced. The patio on my parents' home is the area where the family gathers when we are all home for holiday occasions and we depend on it to provide comfort from the sun and shade. Southern Leisure Builders recommended that we install a ceiling fan within the patio and we are very happy that we did. The ceiling fan added just the right touch of class to make the patio look amazing as an attachment on the home. Integrity, honesty and fairness with 5-Star work is not often found in once company but you will find it in Southern Leisure Builders.

After contacting several other businesses and not getting a response, I called R&J…read more I noticed some staining on my living room ceiling after a week of downpours. I spoke with Allen who was very friendly and professional. I had a pleasant conversation with him. I explained what was going on and he had Brianna call me to go over everything. Brianna was very thorough and professional. She quoted me a price to repair my roof and she sent Josh out to my house this past Saturday. When he arrived he took time to answer all my questions (and I had a few). He checked my roof and my attic. He found the problem within a few minutes of arriving. Apparently, one staple popped up and as a result my roof was leaking. He pulled the staple out and sealed the holes. I was very pleased with the professionalism shown by the staff. When the repair took less than estimated, Allen immediately refunded me the difference. There was zero hassle. I really appreciate a stress free, proper repair. I am so happy I used R&J. I highly recommend them!
