Went in to buy a new Bong 2 months ago. Took it home and upon first use immediately noticed it was leaking from a hairline fracture on the bottom. As I said, I literally was using it for the first time and it was brand new. I assumed maybe it was because it was a hot day and the shop was air conditioned. Although, even with that, a quality piece should not be affected. I took it back the next day and some guy who was not the gut I bought it from inspected it and felt the need to remind me several times that they only carry quality products and that they inspect everything before they sell it. OK, defensiveness like that makes me automatically suspect they actually do carry really cheap stuff. The guy kind of made me feel like he thought I was scamming him. Long story short he replaced it with an exact replica, which I was grateful for. However, that one broke last night as well. It broke just by putting it on the counter. Just shattered into pieces. Not trying to be one of "those guys", but I've been using bongs for almost 30 years and I have broken one that was my fault in that time and it was from being kicked over, not casual use. Perhaps I happened to pick the one supplier they carry that's poor quality? But the fact that both of them broke so quickly in the exact same way tells me it's not a coincidence. So, $140 down the toilet. I don't feel like dealing with the rude people there again, so I'll just buy the next one elsewhere. read more

Empire Novelties - This is the 2nd water pipe that failed from them in 2 months. - Gift Shops Near Me - Vacaville, California

Drove all the way from Sacramento straight after work in traffic because Sacramento does not sell contact lenses. These guys saved my butt!! I probably called 13 places today looking for contact lenses and I was referred to this location by one of the locations I called, and I am so happy with the customer service over the phone and in person. All of my questions were answered both over the phone and in person, I was made to feel important the moment I walked in the door and the guy I did not get his name? But he was super sweet very helpful and patient with me while I picked out two really cool contact lenses for my Halloween costume . Thank you guys so much for your great customer service and saving my Halloween in this shitty 2020 year truly appreciated! And I will be back read more

Update: The reviewer below me Shek DM'd me and claimed to be standing nearby and heard the convo. Apparently he claims that the owner was joking and we "took it up the ass." Apparently he condones rude "joking" for business practices. Whatever dude. When someone is joking usually they say they're joking. So how about you stop taking it up the ass from the owner. With your fake ass braids. These positive reviews must be fake.....My friend and I went here and passed a guy who got mad because we didn't respond hi even though we barely heard him. Apparently he's the OWNER. He got all pissy and said "I'm the owner. I should kick you out of my shop." I was expecting a laugh but he was dead ass serious. Then we told him we're new to the scene. He said, very rudely, "I can tell." Who the hell talks like that to customers? Well Mr. Owner... "I can tell" you've never exercised a day in your life. FOH with that bs.. NEVER going back. Why when there's so many other shops read more

Not one employee that I observed was wearing a mask or any safety equipment. Customers also were not required to wear masks and I observed 4 customers in store not wearing masks or practicing social distancing. I have been a long term customer, but won't be going back ever again because they obviously don't have enough consideration for my health to practice simple health measures during a pandemic. Adios! read more

So these guys are really nice, but it's just like going to buy a car... they are there to sell and they will rip you off if your not careful. Boss man had me pay $85 for a mod that when I looked online after the fact, was actually only $15. They also sold me a "420" cart for $50 that was total garbage... looked up online and it was only $20 and rather than it being 420 it was potpourri. When I took it back 20mins later he refused to give me any money back as "all sales are final". I don't mind paying extra for things that are worth it, but this was straight garbage. I will never go back there again no matter how nice they are. read more

What a clean and beautiful store. Gorgeous glass accessories everywhere. I went in looking for KRATOM and found a nice selection of bags of loose powder and already in capsules to choose from. Ray, such a charmer, was super helpful and sweet. I would definitely recommend if your are looking for a head shop with a great selection in a brightly lit clean and friendly location. A+. read more

So rude. I asked him for info about a vape product on his shelf and he turned into a rude smart a$$ I'm not spending money here. Ever.

NEVER COMING BACK OR RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE. Had the WORST experience EVER here yesterday. My sister in law and I went into the shop to get some stuff for my 21st birthday party. After waiting for what seemed 20minutes to get helped. We wanted to smell a few shisha's before we decided on which ones to buy and this employee was so incredibly rude!! I wanted to smell a lemon one, his response was "because you've never smelt a lemon before?" I let that go... During our visit he would slam things down throw the can my way. I let all that go. Towards the end I turned to my sister in law and said "it's a little hard there's so many good ones" HE then replied "Come on ladies it's not that hard to pick flavor." That was the first time EVER that someone in any smoke shop has been so rude and so impatient. And very rude when we asked questions. They definitely lost a big sale yesterday because we were looking to buy tobacco, a new hookah, and other accessories. NEVER COMING BACK OR RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE. If I could rate it a negative I would. read more

DO NOT GET A PIERCING HERE!!!! I started bleeding really bad after my nose piercing, he was rushed and he did not give me any Info on how to clean it! read more

Walking in I was very nervous because I was going in to get my first piercing! The man at the counter was very friendly, had me fill out the needed paperwork, checked my ID and had me pick out my piercing. The wait was a little long for the person who was doing the actual piercing but the man in the front helped make that wait fun. Once they were ready for me, I was called into a little room. The guy who was doing the piercing was not a people person, just wanted to get me in and out. I was nervous and would have liked someone who would have made this experience a little more enjoyable. But he did a good job, no pain and was very clean about it. I would definitely go there again and would recommend this place. Pricing is very affordable as well. read more

A great place if you need to get pierced. They are friendly and are able to answer questions you have about getting pierced. There's a wide variety of body jewelry you can buy, and they also sell colored contacts (in case you need them). They are very sterile when it came to the piercing I'd go again. read more

Came here today to get my daughters lip pierced for her 17th bday. To be honest, it was not my first choice but will definitely come back. He pierced her lip very professionally. As we were getting ready to leave we mentioned that she was having trouble with some ear piercings she got elsewhere over a year ago. He asked to see and took care of her immediately when he saw how badly infected they were. He removed the earrings that she was unable to get out because they were so swollen and then proceeded to clean and take care of the horrible infection site even as my daughter cried quite loudly because it was so painful. This was completely not anything he needed to do nor did he charge extra for it. He simply wanted to help and refused extra payment. Tonight her ear looks soooooo much better (not pretty because it was so bad but on its way to healing) and I'm so grateful he cared enough to go out of his way to help. read more

My daughter made a purchase of two items that should cost about $20- $25, and was charged $50. She realized after leaving the store, and when she returned to get her money back, they acted like everything was all good and wouldn't refund her money... On top of that, she's not legally old enough to even purchase the items she bought (although she is over 18 yrs old). Hopefully they choose to refund the overcharge to her, bc it would be very bad for business if they choose not to, if you know what I mean... read more

No one here wears a mask or takes any kind of COVID safety measure. Hella mad right now, I've been coming to empire for 6 years as a loyal customer, today I went in looking for a bowl piece and I had asked the guy behind the counter to leave out a couple of the bowls I liked, I wasn't in there for 10 minutes before the shop owner told me, "you guys need to hurry up, they have hella fuckin shit to do"... I put down anything I was looking at, and said sorry for spending my money with them and then left and he was more than happy about it. Long story short, they raised their prices to an unreasonable level, and wanted us to leave before even buying anything. read more

I'm trying to quit smoking so I thought I'd get an e-cig to fill the void in the meantime. I'd tried the disposable kinds before but they always degraded too quickly for the money spent. I wanted something bigger and smokier. The guys were friendly and easy to talk to. The shop was pretty clean and organized compared to other similar shops I've been to. I'd give them more stars but I think they're overpriced. I probably should have done some research first but I didn't and I ended up paying double the price that the maker's website offers it for. Oh well. read more
