I have never left a business review because I've never had such a terrible experience with a business that I felt that it was necessary. I just wanted an extended warranty from my used vehicle that I purchased. Sales was nice sounded great but refused to send me a service contract until I signed up insisting that I had 60 days to cancel with a refund. So I paid, I signed up, I never got a confirmation email, two weeks go by and I still haven't gotten a service contract, but I did receive a home warranty contract that I never signed up for and was never spoken to about. I called them about this again they said that I should be getting the auto service contract in the mail and by the state of Florida I was legally required to buy a home warranty combination. I did not appreciate my customer service transactions and I didn't appreciate that two weeks had gone by and I had not received anything I was supposed to get from them, at this point I had a bad feeling that if this is how my experience had gone so far, having a warranty with them was not going to go any better. So I called back and I canceled. Four days go by and I never get a cancellation email so I call again and I insist that they send it to me while I'm on the phone. So at this point, I have signed up for service on June 2 and I have an email showing proof of cancellation on June 19. I have an email showing that I had 60 days to cancel and to get refunded from June 2. I am well within both a 30 and a 60 day timeframe. Because now on July 10 I checked my bank statement and I have been charged on July 1 for another month. So not only have I not gotten my refund but I have been charged for another month. I call in today to ask for two refunds, calmly, because nobody wants to talk to an angry client. The first representative blew up on me like an irate client, not a customer service rep would. I call back and they tell me they'll call me back in 2- 3 hours. This is the worst company I have EVER dealt with. read more

If I could give this company zero stars I WOULD. I bought a contract, the premium coverage. They asked for my VIN to check the car. I have paid 15 months on this warranty, totalling over $2000. I took my car to the shop, my radiator was leaking, I get a phone call saying the company was not covering my car because of a branded title. When I bought this warranty they told me they were checking my VIN! So I call, ask for a refund, since they won't be covering my vehicle. The first time I called they hung up. I called again, right after that a spoke to a man, who told me he was going to send an email to Mepco because they don't handle refunds. I call again today. 4 different times. Hung up on 4 of those times. I talked to a man child, who said his name was Shelby. He said it was my fault for not telling them that my title was branded. That I wouldn't get a refund. Proceeds to tell me that had I told them that my title was branded then they could have gotten me the right coverage. But they checked the VIN, right? I ask for a manager, he says he is. After this, I call Mepco, the company who I was paying. They tell me, that Empire Auto Protect has to send an email. A refund request email. She transfers me over to them, I tell him this new information that I've received, he continues to be rude and tell me it's my fault and that I'm not getting through him. He tells me that I'm trying to blame them, when I just want my money back. Which they told me if it's canceled or I don't use the money I pay into it, then they will send me my money back. Now, I feel I'm going to fighting to get my money back, and possibly end up in small claims court because of this company. I am by no means a person with money to spare, and now I have a car to fix, this company should be shut down! read more

This company appears to employ intimidation tactics once they have secured your business. On the day of purchasing both memberships on June 28, 2024, I explicitly inquired about the services and terms. They assured me that I could cancel at any time. However, when I attempted to cancel, their demeanor became hostile, asserting that I could not terminate the two memberships due to them being under a finance contract. They threatened that failure to continue payments would result in a lien being placed on my vehicles, and they refused to engage in a professional dialogue thereafter. I also reached out to Ensurety Finance Services for additional support, and they confirmed that I could cancel at any time. they shared that Empire needs to iniciate the cancelation request. The representative was quite helpful, even facilitating a three-way call with Empire. During this call, Empire exhibited slightly more professionalism and stated that they would proceed with the cancellation of my accounts, but they abruptly ended the call afterward. Upon contacting Empire for the third time, a representative assured me that my accounts would be canceled and that they would coordinate with the Billing department. I was informed that I would receive an email confirming the cancellation. However, I remain skeptical about their commitment to follow through, as it seems they are merely stalling. I was provided with the reference number 118146 for my cancellation request. I will continue following up and engage with legal representation if needed in this matter. Please do your research before doing bissness with Empire Auto protect. read more

THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!! Unfortunately, there's no option to leave a negative rating. Please be cautious as Empire Auto Protect is fraudulent. Eric Nies and Jason sold me a plan, representing it as a titanium package, but it turned out to be only a 'repair and assist' service. The discrepancy came to light when I received the policy confirmation via email, which clearly stated 'repair and assist'. Upon questioning, Eric explained that the naming differs across states. However, the true nature of the plan was fully revealed when I encountered an issue with my car and the claims department informed me it was not the platinum plan, but merely repair and assist. This situation is highly unethical, misleading innocent customers. Should you review the recorded conversation (as you do record), you will find that I specifically requested the platinum package. Eric Nies repeatedly assured me that what I was purchasing was indeed the platinum package, albeit referred to by a different name in various states. At no point did I consent to a lesser package. It appears there has been a misrepresentation on your part. I encourage you to examine the recording closely and identify any instance that contradicts my statement above I am prepared to escalate this matter legally if necessary, which would involve disclosing your recording as evidence. Such a step would undoubtedly clarify the misunderstanding. Perhaps pursuing legal action to uncover the truth is a viable option. GUYS PLEASE BE AWARE OF THEM!!!! read more

Five start reviews are fake on Google!! I am amazed how quick they pop up after a negative review is given and then they are liked immediately. Well, I have waiting to give this review hoping that someone within the company discovered that they had a shred of integrity - THEY DO NOT! They do not pay claims....don't believe the positive reviews. They make every excuse to not pay claims and are rude and completely disrespectful during the process. We have the Titanium Package through them - it states in black and white that Turbo Chargers and all parts are covered. Our turbo charger had to be replaced last month as it failed. They denied the claim and then tried to tell us that it was pre-existing in their response to our complaint on the BBB site. BUT, they also wrote to us two times that they WILL PAY OUR CLAIM "AS A COURTESY" AND FOR "OUR CONFUSION"....they have NOT paid a dime and they continue to ignore us. Their names change each time you call them and they actually faked an accent when putting us through to their supervisor. Believe the Yelp reviews....and check out their complaints on the Better Business Bureau. read more

Looks like they make a habit of threatening people if you post a bad review. We aren't the only ones!! They even threatened to come to our house if we don't remove our negative reviews. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! Zach....are you the owners son? Where is Robin Kassin in all of this? If you are the owner...shame on you for running such a corrupt business - taking peoples hard earned money. They do not pay claims - they will continue to charge monthly fees so please, do not give them your bank account information. Better yet - JUST DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AT ALL!!! They refused two of our claims and call my husband every time I post something negative. They even posted a negative review on a business page and threatened to do it "200" more times. BELIEVE THE YELP AND BBB COMPLAINTS! Just because it says they are A rated - (Zach)....it is only because they respond to their complaints with lies. As long as there is a response to the complaint - their rating does not go down. Over 60 complaints....WOW! read more

I had an excellent experience with Empire Auto Protect when it came to getting my engine repair approved. When my vehicle started having serious engine issues, I was honestly stressed about the potential cost. After filing my claim, their team walked me through the entire process clearly and professionally. The claims department was responsive, communicated directly with my repair shop, and handled the inspection quickly. Once the issue was verified, my engine repair was approved without unnecessary delays. They covered exactly what my contract stated, and there were no surprise complications. What really stood out to me was how smooth and straightforward everything felt during a stressful situation. Engine repairs aren't cheap, and having coverage that actually comes through makes a huge difference. I'm very satisfied with how Empire Auto Protect handled my claim and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable vehicle protection read more

This company is a scam!!! We purchased a plan for our BMW X3 and they told us the plan covers front and back brakes once a year. That was a lie. 3 months into the plan we needed our brakes done and we were told " we don't offer that anymore" What a joke. We were told on the phone that the plan covered 100% with no deductible... another lie. It's 70% and max payout is $3,500 per year. We spoke with Sean and the manager Eric who was very rude and yelled at up with cuss words when we said we canceled and our bank was reversing the charges. Shows right there how unprofessional they are. It was very low class. Stay away from this company. If you bought a plan call your bank or credit card. Report that's it's a scam. They'll help you out read more

Worst company out there - DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY!! They do not cover anything. They have zero integrity and are super rude. Eric lies - not even sure that is his real name. We just got off the phone with someone there and he was so rude and condescending then he puts us over to his "supervisor" - same person with a fake accent. Believe all the negative reviews.....the positive reviews are most likely fake. Check out the Better Business Bureau complaints as well as Consumer Affairs. It is so sad to think people will take advantage of people who are hard working, honest people. We have hired an attorney. read more

Wow...we aren't the only ones that have been screwed over by this company. They are the absolute worst - believe the negative reviews. The positive reviews are fake!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - They are so corrupt and fraudulent - the employees constantly change names. After talking with "Robert" one minute, he changed his name to "Sebastian" and then asked if we wanted to speak to a manager. He then put on a fake accent and tried to act like someone completely different. They have told us twice that they have reimbursed us our money - LIES!!! A lawyers has been contacted. read more

I had a great experience with Empire Auto Protect when my vehicle's fuel pump failed. From start to finish, the process was smooth and professional. They approved the repair quickly and covered the cost without any hassle. What really stood out was that they also provided a loaner car while mine was in the shop -- a huge help that made everything so much easier. It's rare to find a warranty company that actually delivers on its promises, but Empire Auto Protect did just that. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable coverage and peace of mind! read more

this business threatens former clients who give honest feedback on their experiences while working with this company. I've experienced that this company uses sleazy sales tatics lies about coverage does not cover anything they say they do. Address looks pretty fake I would not recommend at all. They called and threatened my family member because my services were not rendered, and I left an honest review. I also sent a fake legal email like I don't know what a real subpoena is. Anyone has experience/ want to file lawsuit against them? What's their official name and address to serve? I have my mechanics called them several times for something that they clarity stated to cover under the Titanium Plan and they refused cover nor provide written reasons why it was denied.
