Never again will I use AAA. Long time customer, and one giant screw up from them and I will NEVER step foot in that place again. This is for a car repair. Engine light came on so I had AAA do the diagnostic and repair. They qouted me $1,000 and some change. Ouch! But said yes, go ahead and fix it. Went to pick it up and my total was over $1700.00. I felt like throwing up. Hands started shaking. Trying to not cry. The guy got on the phone with somebody and got the bill down to $1400.00. It's still not right, not by a longshot. Lesson learned. If you have work done on your vehicle there, get the estimate in writing and good luck. read more

My AAA account includes free credit monitoring on Experian. I get an email each month. And if their is activity on my credit report, another email for that as well. Just got an email that there was an address change with Experian. Turns out, a bad person got a business that holds a credit card I use, to add an address out of state and send them a credit card there in my name. That address is currently for rent. So my credit card has been shut down, the address has been removed, my new card is coming and the credit bureaus will be notified. I would not have know until much damage had been done if it wasn't for AAA! Thank You!!! read more

The did 3,100 bucks of work to our truck they used a used part and I still didn't have breaks. In 1 day the power steering fluid was gone and I had no breaks and no power steering. Fuck this garage I wish blockbusters was still there because AAA don't know how to work on cars. Stick with what you know. Road side assistance. read more

I've been a member for over 10 years and having this establishment so accessible is exactly what Dover needed! I've had my brakes replaced here as well as other maintenance. Today I had a question/concern about my vehicle and Anthony took the time to come out to my vehicle and show me exactly where my problem was located... then in a snap, fixed my issue. I went there expecting to make an appointment and instead I left with my problem fixed! He's the best... previously when I had my breaks replaced he personally showed me where the hot spots were on my rotors and wear on my pads. I was actually able to see the issue rather than just being told about the problem. I recommend taking a look at what AAA in Dover, DE can do w and your vehicle. I had a front tire issue I needed fixed. I went in, explained it all got quoted for a new tire if need be. Get a call saying I'll need 500 dollars in repairs. Front rotors, front brakes, full alignment, etc. Gave the go ahead. Less to worry about down the road. Get the car back. The issue creeps back in under a week along with a new problem. Call them back to exercise my warranty. Walk in to a wave of questions. Statements accusing my daily checks to all be false. Finally take my car back after 6 minutes of questions. They now find a nail and a staple in a two completely different tires, completely absent from the first report. Then am told they can't patch it but can give me a brand new tire. They also neglect to comment on the new issue regarding transmission performance. At this point I take my business elsewhere. A report from another business shows their "alignment" to be nothing close. Needless to say they have lost my business entirely. read more

I used AAA auto and home owners insurance because of a low rate in 2016. In 2017 they raised my rates just over 20% and I had no claims or issues or payouts of claims of any sort, nor points on our driver's licenses. In 2018, the premiums were increased again about 12%. I understand rates increase, but these are higher than inflation or industry standards. The reason I am angry and disappointed is the agent, Jim Klippert never had the courtesy (2 years in a row) to answer phone calls or emails to contact me thinking there might be a mistake. I am now with State Farm at about 25% less. read more
