These guys moved mountains to help me buy a car at the price I was looking for on horrible credit. I was reluctant to go to a small car lot but it was way more than worth it in the end. Had my car within three days, and they only sell quality cars. read more

Empire auto catered to my needs perfectly! I told them what i could afford and they kept it real! I love my car! Thanks Sam!!!

So my GF (wife) wanted to buy a nice used car. After researching different cars and dealers we came across Empire Auto and the 2011 Jetta. I called Sam (the sales guy) gave me good information about the car. He then told me to have her fill the loan application on their web site so that he can look for financing options. We have always been turned down by other dealers because her credit score being low, borderline horrible. Later that day we went to the dealer and we were greeted by Sam and his brother (forgot his name). We go inside and to our surprise she had been approved by not one bank but two!!! We looked at the car and test drove it. We didn't find anything wrong with it. Was even surprise that it even smelled new!!! Soooo happy with this purchase and I would highly recommend this dealer to family and friends. BTW it's a 2011 Jetta se with only 23000 miles. read more

Empire Auto is amazing! They really treat their customers right and care about the relationship between dealer and buyer. My family came in looking for a 2008 camry and kept pestering Sam about every little thing, but he was extremely patient, answered all our questions and even got us a new key and repairs for a lot cheaper than it would normally be. Definitely recommend read more

Buying a used vehicle is never easy. We found a used truck on Craigslist that we decided to check it out for our daughter. The gentlemen at Empire Auto, Sam and Mubin, were professional, friendly and most helpful. They were up front about how long they had had the truck, how it had been used and had a Carfax review on it. Once we decided to make the purchase they were very professional and obviously experienced going through the paperwork for us, and making the process as easy as possible. They certainly deserve a look if you need a used car. read more

This place was nice but the deals were bad, and I've come to notice that after I got ripped off. The brakes were bad, I had to pay with my own money to fix that, on top of that after paying all the fee's, I had to pay extra money for the registration papers. Not happy with this place. read more

I would like to thank Empire Auto (Sam) especially Sam he help me get a beautiful luxury 2006 Audi which I love so much he was awesome from the time I meet him (excellent customer service ) We spent all morning ensuring that I drive off that lot with that specific car he was very dedicated and very professional he was very motivated on finding the right bank to finance me although my credit score is not that good he achieved it even after I got the car he still contacted me about the bank Status and my registration Status. Their were so many different options of cars but that Audi really caught my eye he showed me the car fax which was awesome I would most definitely recommend my family and friends to go check out Empire Auto and ask for Sam because he's Awesome! read more

I bought a car from Empire. I loved the car 2009 Altima Hybrid. The guys were wonderful in the beginning however, once I was approved and drove off in the car that's when the nightmare began. He promised me it was a good car no problem. I told him I hope this car will not breakdown on me in a couple of weeks, he said no I guarantee that this car will not breakdown. Well, of course the check engine soon light came on in 2 WEEKS. I took the car where he told me too. Quality Brake off Jackson, After going back and forth to that place I was told there was nothing he could do cause he could not see why it was back firing. Now the car is DEAD, yes folks I said DEAD. I just bought it in October 2015 and it is only January 2016 and the car is DEAD. It wont come on. No I did not have a warranty, there should be a law against these type of sales. The law should make them have at least a 90day warranty for every used car that drives off any lot. WARNING: DO NOT PURCHASE ANY CARS FROM THIS LOT. read more

If you are looking for a nice person, you found the right place. But i can honestly say that you need to put everything in writing. I ended up with a lemon and had to put 5000 dollars into the vehicle after purchase due to they would not stand by there word. read more

I had a fantastic experience with empire auto! I recently purchased a car here, which involved a handful of DMV and odd bank related set backs. Mubin and Sam not only gave me a fair price, but they were accommodating and helpful. They treated me like a person, not just a customer. I couldn't be more pleased with my car, and the experience that came along with it...So much better than those big dealerships. read more

Went to check out a Hyundai Sonata that they had at a very good price and fell in love. They do not pressure you to buy a car and they are very nice. Highly recommend checking them out, great prices and nice people. read more

This review is for the wonderful service we received here. We checked everything on the car in & out and didn't see or hear anything out of the ordinary. We were able to do this without anyone smothering us, but if we did have questions, someone wad close by. The test drive was great, but gas tank was extremely low, we hurried back so we didn't run out if fuel, this was our only worry but made it back just fine. The battery was low and the car had to have a jump start but we were told it could be replaced with a new battery the next day. We went through their financing application and we checked with our bank to compare rates. Our bank had a slightly lower rate and they did try to match or beat the rate, which was great. There was no rush or pushy sales pitches, and they are a pleasure to do business with. Unfortunately we ended up not purchasing the vehicle due to last minute financial worries, so I couldn't tell you how the car is holding up, but overall the whole car buying process and experience was pleasant. We will return in the near future to purchase again. read more

I recently met Sam when I was looking to purchase an SUV. I've purchased about 10 cars in my life and the professionalism and customer service I saw at Empire Auto is at the top of what a car dealer should be. Sam worked tirelessly to make sure my wife and I were comfortable with our purchase. I would highly recommend anyone I'm the bay area to check out the selection at Empire Auto. Sam is just one of those really good guys that you end up being happy to do business with. read more

We highly recommend! Sam and his brother were courteous and attentive to our needs. There was no pushiness or strong sales pitch. We were given a test drive and encouraged to let our mechanic come look the car over and test drive it with us. The Empire Auto cars are as is, but that is what you will pay for, no jacked-up price leading to post-purchase let don and buyer remorse. Sam explained the process and made the paperwork easy. The discount we received for paying cash paid for the repairs! Can't get better than that! read more

Just bought a car (Ford Escape Hybrid) at Empire Auto in Hayward. The car looks fine so far, and Sam gave us a great deal!

I would not go to this car lot again or recommend it! I went into this dealership yesterday to see about getting a car. My boyfriend let the man know I wanted to buy a car and the man was rude from the start. He asks what kind of car I wanted and I told him something reliable like a Camry, which he had on the lot he told me he wanted $4,000 (the car is $13,000) and I told him I have $1,200 to put down. He went on to tell me he want $4,000 from me for any car I'll look at on his lot. The man said all of this in a 1 minute conversation with out running my credit or anything and I left I didn't get to sit down or look around the lot he wanted $4,000 without knowing my name, credit score, proof of income, etc. I honestly believe he wanted $4,000 assuming I wouldn't pay my note or I had bad credit what he did was against the law and I feel I was discriminated against because I was African-American (due to the expression on his face and his attitude). I am thinking about reporting this dealership they seem shady and he can't throw a price out with running my credit and getting an ok from a bank. I was only there for 1 minute and left STAY AWAY!!!! Did I mention they have a estimate application on their website where you'll put how much money you'll put down and it will estimate how much your note will be. I did that before coming to this dealership but the man act like he didn't know anything about that and went to say he want $4,000 from me. THEY GET 0 STARS FROM ME!!!! read more

I purchased a car a couple days ago from empire Auto. I was referred to them by a co-worker. I was very scared to purchase a used car again since my last experience was horrible. They took the time to understand my needs and wants. Sam and Mubin were great professionals that knew exactly what they were doing. Everything was legit and by the books. I didn't feel like i was overpaying or being used. Considering the bad experience I had 8 months prior, they assured me by going above and beyond my expectations to make me feel secure about my purchase. I didn't even have to go anywhere else. They got me financed in no time, they listened to my expectations, and executed effectively . They made car buying easy and hassle free. AND BEST OF ALL, WORRY FREE. I have never been to any used car lot and had such great experience. I would defiantly purchase a car from them again. Already looking into a car for other members of my family.#happy car buying read more
