All the vegetables were nice and crispy, and the white rice was perfect. The chicken, while not an overabundance, was enough for the dish. I called in the order, and they said it would take 10 minutes. Didn't ask my name. I arrived on time, and my food was ready. When you arrive, it's a single-wide store with a little depth. What caught my eye was the lack of adequate lighting in the cooking area. I have been told that where there is a Publix, there will be a Chinese establishment in the same complex. When I go to Publix other than my normal, I look, and so far there has been one. read more

Small take out spot next to the Publix off Strand Boulevard. Very good Hit &Soar Soup. It was a bit different with some Hoisin Sauce to give it a slightly sweet taste. We gad the walnut shrimp with walnuts and broccoli. It was nicely packed with some indentations on the cover and the sauce was separate. The dish with the sauce had a nice flavor. It's a no go from me. The rice was 100% left overs from Saturday night. I literally saw her take it out of a container and reheat it on the wok, what a bummer! For "fried rice" it only contained egg and rice. No veggies at all - that was very odd. The orange chicken tasted really weird, the sauce was super thick and tasted extremely sour. Let's not talk about the egg roll that smelled really really bad. It was full of veggies which is okay. I love veggies. I'm pretty sure the egg roll was no longer good and should've been tossed instead. This place isn't fancy so I wasn't expecting amazing quality food. I've been to many Chinese takeout places in Naples but this place located in the Strand Plaza is by far the best tasting that I've experienced. The place isn't fancy at all inside and the decor is very basic but, what they lack in in appearance they definitely make up in the quality of their food. There is plenty of parking in the plaza and they have vegetarian options. I always order the Fried Chicken Wings or Lo Mein combination because they cook it really well! The Chicken Wings are so crispy and flavorful while super tender inside. The Lo Mein noodles have good texture and not to soft while having some nice crispy char from the high heat wok. Super tasty and not overly salty. They serve fried rice with the combination dinners and like the Lo Mein, the rice isn't mushy and has good texture and some charred ends. The rice is seasoned perfectly with a nice rich color and not bland compared to other places in town that make the fried rice bland and tasteless. The service was good and they have very affordable lunch combination for less than $6.00. I definitely recommend this place for its good food at affordable prices and great taste. read more

Just order some dinners and they came without any vegetables in the dinner item. I called to let them know and was told they were out of vegetables. I.e. broccoli and carrots etc and they just made the item without the ingredients and sent it off in carry out. I was surprised to see nothing on Yelp so I have to give it some love. Very friendly and very accomodating, I appreciate the energy the family gives that run this restaurant. Ordered this food for the first time tonight. I had hot and sour soup. Very unusual. Sweet and strange ingredients. Not typical. The Mongolian beef was inedible. Gritty and the meat what little there was( idk maybe that was a good thing) so though the dog didn't even like it. I ordered the pork fried rice which may as well been just rice. We've been in Naples for about a year and have been searching for a great Chinese takeout place. We LOVE Emperor Express! It's cheap and delicious, and all of the staff (family, I believe) are super friendly. We don't venture into the main dishes too much, but as far as the appetizers go they have all the favorites. The food is always piping hot and everything tastes clean, not like dirty fryer oil. I am confident the rest of the menu would be delivered with the same quality. This place appears to be just another Chinese takeout place, but there is one particular menu item that makes it my favorite Chinese takeout place that I have ever been to. It's the honey garlic chicken. The chicken is perfectly crispy, the sauce is amazing, and it's on the side so you avoid the sogginess that often comes with Chinese food. We ordered 3 egg rolls, a quart of wonton soup, pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and spicy shredded beef. Our delivery total was $33 before tip. For all this food served deliciously and piping hot, we felt it was a good value for the money. All of the dishes were tasty; my husband really liked this sweet and sour chicken and the pork fried rice. I liked the wonton soup. I am a 70 year old women and have ordered there a few times before. The food is not bad however the personal is terrible. I had ordered my food and was waiting for about 20 minutes. All I did was ask the counter person how much longer it would be when a man that was cooking food started yelling at me. He told me it would be another hour and began to curse at me.
