    Sasame chicken

Found this place driving by and thought to give it a try. Place needs some good cleaning. Food looked great, but didn't taste good. Chewy chicken. Pre-teen boy (probably owners son, was watching videos on the phone and it was kinda loud while we were eating lunch. I hope that owners would take recommendations and clean up their place, make place more welcoming and raise quality of the food.

This is one of those solid Chinese takeout places if you are in a rush and don't want to cook. It's not bad but really nothing special. The portions are also small for the price in my opinion. Also if you order stir fry or mixed vegetables the standard is the white sauce not the brown sauce.

Good solid Chinese takeout. Boneless ribs are awesome. Good soups, decent egg rolls. All in all a go to in the neighborhood

The menu leans Cantonese, and the more traditional dishes are generally the strongest. While the kitchen still caters somewhat to Western tastes, diners willing to venture beyond the standard takeout favorites will find several authentic offerings worth trying. If you're looking for a whole steamed fish or other specialty dishes, be sure to call ahead, as not everything is available on short notice. The service is friendly and attentive, and the staff has always been welcoming. Is it exactly like dining in Hong Kong or Guangzhou? Not quite. But for Southwest Florida, it's a solid choice when you're craving authentic Cantonese flavors and a break from the usual Americanized Chinese fare. Rating: 4/5 A reliable spot for traditional Cantonese dishes in a town where good Chinese food can be hard to find.

It was served within 5-7 minutes with white rice and an extra bowl of sauce. It was the best Pepper Steak I've eaten in more than 20 years. It was so flavorful, a hint on garlic and a bit of sweetness along with savory. The onions were just beginning to carmelize, the peppers were still crisp but starting to soften. The beef was tender and not chewy. Everything was hot and they continued to check on us to make sure we were happy with our meal. I can't say enough about a great experience and perfect food!

We ordered a variety of dishes to share, including the beef and broccoli, honey walnut shrimp, seafood XO sauce chow fun, braised eggplant, spring rolls, and the hometown scallion pancakes. The standouts for me were the honey walnut shrimp, which had just the right balance of sweetness and crunch, and the seafood XO sauce chow fun, packed with flavor and loaded with shrimp and calamari. The braised eggplant was silky and delicious, and the beef and broccoli was a solid classic done well. The only miss was the hometown scallion pancake. I was expecting a traditional pan-fried version, but it came deep-fried instead. It was still tasty, just not what I had envisioned. One tip: rice is ordered separately, so keep that in mind when placing your order. And definitely ask for the chili oil. It adds a wonderful kick and takes many of the dishes to the next level. Overall, the portions were generous, the food came out hot, and there was plenty to take home. A great option when you're looking for flavorful Chinese food and enough leftovers for the next day.

When I complimented it, the young man said they made the noodles. "We've 7 to 8 people in the kitchen on weekends." Simple and clean decor. The yellowish Jasmine tea tins are neatly stacked on the shelf, soothingly. One pot of orchid - couldn't tell if it's real. The location is convenient, right off I-75. Wish they would add two wisps of leafy veggie to the beef chow fun, which is the norm, and better vinegar. 3% surcharge for credit cards. The server also said the location opened 3 years ago, and the one in Sarasota 7 years ago. "Yummy House is ours, managed by two sisters; King by brothers." One will soon open in Jacksonville: good luck 马到成功 -:) By the way, one of the chefs from their Sarasota location left to open their own shop, named Dim Sum Kitchen. No wonder they gave me a tight face when I unknowingly asked about the names: so similar and so close in spelling. Ok, heading down to the tennis - Miami Open. Today's sunshine may be the last we see, because the weather forecast calls for rainy days.

We finished our shopping, got in the car, read a few reviews for Jing Du and said 'Let's give it a try.' Glad we did. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has both booths and tables. The adult Lunch Buffet is $14.99 and runs from 11:00 to 3:45. As with so many of the oriental buffets, we had to walk around and get familiar with what was offered before focusing on particulars. There is an Hibachi grill where you can assemble your ingredients and Mr. Hibachi will cook it for you. The sushi bar is impressive. I am not a real sushi person so I'm not sure if it's all legit, but the few pieces I took tasted very good. I found it helpful to have signs above the offerings to get an idea of what was there. All of the stations are just loaded with foods. I happen to be a Hot and Sour Soup fan and I found their soup to be one of the best I have ever had. Really good. I also found the fish to be quite tasty. A mild, flaky whitefish, maybe tilapia or basa, in a broth with light soy sauce and something else. I enjoyed this fish very much. The peel and eat cold shrimp were good, but the cocktail sauce was the best. Nice strong horseradish kicked up the shrimp. One notable item was the pork egg rolls. Most buffets have these small rolls with a few shreds of veggies and not much flavor. These gems actually had pork and veggies in them and were delicious. We tried many items and most everything was good. They have a few dessert items and there is a freezer case with a variety of ice cream. We will definitely go back and bring our daughter who is sushi person so she can evaluate it. The Dinner Buffet is $18.99 and includes snow crab legs. This restaurant is all you can eat, but please eat all you take and not waste food.

The sushi looked room-temperature and dried out. The hot bar was steamy and weird. The hostess had a real owner vibe and was all business - not friendly whatsoever. After walking all the way through the restaurant and back to the hostess station, I decided to protect my future stomach and refrain from eating here. I was surprised at the discrepancy between the overall star rating and what I experienced with my own eyes, nose, vibe. Easy pass!
