The food was prepared very fast and he even accommodated my request for hot chili oil. My spouse can be fussy, but he liked his meal from China Dragon. The menu is varied and has everything from meat, tofu and seafood lunch specials to house specials. This restaurant is easy to access and in a good location close to the freeway. This restaurant is one to try when you're in the mood for quick Chinese food served up with a smile. If I could give 0 stars I would. I walked in and right away, the person at the counter bad attitude and the place looks dirty. The menu had a lot of stuff so I just simply asked if they offered a plate with an entree and "chow mein". Forget it, guy went off about how that's soup in American and that if I want noodles I should be asking for low mein but he wouldn't drop it and kept giving me attitude. O M G by far the WORST experience from a Chinese carry out in my 15 years living here in Naples Florida. The lack of Customer Service from the young Chinese worker who could not give a care about me asking him, was my carry out order was ready. He took my credit card and thought it'd be a good idea to shake his head and thought something was funny. I immediately ask for my card back , then he pointed to a box with my items . The the older Chinese couple stepped in ( must been his parents ) . His mother did not take to kindly how he treated me and then smacked him LOL . Since his parents stepped in and apologized, I did pay fpr my order. I don't believe this place actually still exists. They advertise delivery only. I ordered $75.00 worth of food. The order was not delivered and after many, many unanswered phone calls I finally reached them. They apologized and said they would refund my money. Extremely rude and unprofessional. They are listed on door dash which they no longer use. After placing your order they will call and tell you to cancel your order through door dash and they will use their own drivers. No air conditioning on and was extremely uncomfortable plus dining area doubled as storage space so it was very junky. As to the food, I should preface this review by saying I am NOT a fussy eater. So...I have never had a more strange experience in a restaurant. My family and I stopped in randomly and were greeted by a very loud man. He went on a rant about how they had no regulars that came to the reservation and that anyone who came in was from out of town. Should have been the first red flag. I absolutely LOVE chinese takeout and almost every place I've been to in naples, there has never been a problem. However, this place I would suggest to avoid if you can. The first time I went I had ordered myself an order of Sweet & Sour chicken (which is supposed to come with the red sauce, chicken, and white rice) and my boyfriend ordered chow lo-mein. The guy at the register was super friendly and funny and kept decent conversation. However, our order which was not large at all took nearly 25 minutes to come out. Mind you, we were the only two inside. When we arrived home, the sauce for my chicken was not even included in the bag at all. So i was left with plain chicken and rice. My boyfriend's order was completely fine. We went a second time about a month later and ordered the same exact items. The only difference was that we asked for an order of crab rangoons. This time it felt like we were waiting not even 5 minutes after we ordered and everything was ready. We checked the bag and it looked like everything was included this time so we went on our way. When we arrived home, my boyfriend said that the top layer of noodles were warm and the rest of the noodles tasted pretty cold. It's almost as if they pulled it out of a fridge and barely bothered to even heat it up. Not only that, he only had about two or three small slices of chicken in the chow lo-mein. My sweet and sour chicken did come with the sauce this time but a couple of bites in and I couldn't finish my food. The sweet and sour sauce tasted super watery and had this really off taste to it. It became pretty nauseating. Although the family seems nice in the restaurant, I wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone. My mom, grandma, and I went to China Dragon for dinner when I went to Visited Naples, FL. You will get an enormous amount of food for what you pay. We were able to make 1 meal, 4. Naples really only has places like this and Szechuan to lean into for delicious chinese takeout. The owner has always remembered our orders and loves talking to us. So I'm from NYC that probably has the best of what American's call "Chinese food" outside of San Francisco... so after being accosted by an employee/owner in the parking lot while at Dollar Tree I was handed a menu and I said to him how far do you deliver his response "Everywhere" should have told him I was in NYC lol... anyway so just 7 days later we put in a delivery order using BeyondMenu I have an account with them for using another Chinese restaurant Jasmine this is a $50 order to be delivered after it is placed we get a call "we can't deliver no driver" we could have said cancel the order but instead chose to pick it up... you think they would have been grateful because we could have canceled a $50 order but no they treated us like **** and basically throw the food at us not making eye contact or apologizing for the inconvenience all while taking phone orders! Another fabulous meal from Mike @ the China Dragon!! We ordered Dragon Phoenix (shrimp & chicken w/mixed veg) and Kung Pao Chicken-both were ready within 15min of ordering. Both were also piping hot & DELICIOUS and made with loads of fresh vegetables (broccoli, carrot, bok choy, baby corn etc) and huge pieces of white meat chicken and LARGE shrimp. This is the best Chinese food I have found in Naples, and believe me, I have tried most ALL of them!! Never had a bad meal here. This place has good, solid Chinese food. It is very straightforward with no frills. No water (you can buy a bottle for $1), no silverware or plates (you get a plastic fork and your food is served in a styrofoam takeout box), and the waiter leaves you alone unless you ask a question (to which he will reply by shouting a reply from across the restaurant). Is it the best service I've ever received? No, but it was decent. Was it entertaining to see him dash outside and shove menus at people? Definitely! Like I mentioned, the waiter was very loud but friendly, and spent most of his time shouting at people walking by outside to "come in and try our food, we have everything!" Which was true, because the menu is exhaustive. There is a picture on Yelp of the menu and I can assure you that that is not it. The menu is actually a fold out brochure and fills up 4 or 5 pages. That doesn't include all the specials they have listed at the front. The food came out really fast and the portion sizes were absolutely massive. I've never seen so much food, especially for the price. We bought 2 entrees, a spring roll, and a bottle of water for around $18. Usually a meal like that would easily cost $30, especially in this area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who visits, and I'll probably come back myself if I'm ever in Naples. read more
