Dim Sum King still hold the the spot for our favorite dim sum in the area. We've tried a few places and keep coming back. They have a wide variety of dim sum options, with most being available all day. This is great for anyone unable to come during more trading dim sum hours. On the weekends, they offer roasted duck. I use to not be much of a duck fan but having tried theirs, I have since converted. If you are in the area and are looking to try some delicious dim sum, this is definitely the stop to make!

Drove from Naples for dim sum based in yelp reviews. Place was small, but in a nice strip mall with its own parking. Seated immediately with laminated menu for marking up your order. After marking up the two menus, the dishes started appearing one at a time when ready. All were hot and fresh and tasted pretty authentic, at least per our experience in NYC Chinatown and Boston Chinatown Dim Sum houses. Only downside was the jasmine rice, which was a bit crunchy due to reheating or sitting in rice cooker too long. Staff were attentive and added water and tea upon request. Place was clean and full. Would go again if in area.

Love this place! Every dish is a winner, especially the sesame chicken and beef with broccoli! Great service and a cozy, comfortable, family atmosphere. Going to be our new go-to dim sum spot.

This was our first visit to Dim Sum King. It is very convenient when you want to eat before going to Hertz Arena or if you are shopping at in the Gulf Coast area. When you walk in, it is not clear if you are to seat yourself or wait to be seated. We stood there for several minutes before anybody acknowledged us. Then after we were seated, it was a good 10 minutes before we were waited on. It is a bit strange that none of the servers look your way. Once we ordered, our food came out pretty quickly, except a dish at a time, which was a bit odd. It wasn't just our table either. It is like they deliver individual orders when they are ready. The food itself tasted fresh and good, so because of that, we would try them again. The ambiance was typical Asian dining room. It was clean and simple.

This is a great place with great food. The service is great and the food comes out quickly. The size of the entrées are generous and always delicious.

We were looking for a lunch spot before our flight at Ft. Meyers Airport, and this looked convenient and quick. We found the service to be quick and food came from the kitchen quickly. We sampled a variety of small Dim Sum plates and enjoyed them all. Oddly, one of the weakest dishes was the pan fried dumplings, usually a hit at Dim Sum. Don't miss the pineapple custard buns for a sweet finish. As others pointed out, the price of some dishes seems high. Some of the soups were $15-$17, perhaps they serve more than one? Note that you order Dim Sum off of a menu, they do not have carts roaming the restaurant. You can also order more traditional Cantonese options along with Dim Sum. Overall a delicious lunch!

We just finished eating dinner at this spot and I had high expectations but left very unsatisfied. We ordered the Shanghai dumplings, sesame balls, general Tso's chicken and the XO noodles. You could tell the dumplings were frozen and they were just heated up, the sesame balls we're undercooked. The chicken was okay, a little too sweet to the point where it just reminded me of orange chicken and the noodles had barely any sauce? The service was barely okay. If the food is going to be okay, let the customer service be good or at least decent. After they took our order, no one came to check on us. We were waiting for someone to stop by so we could ask for chopsticks but they never did so my boyfriend just got up to get it himself. We won't be coming back and unfortunately do not recommend this place to anyone.

They will make it. I know it's good when I walk in and see lots of Asians ! Clean, spacious. Lots of parking. Great location, in a small strip mall facing the large older Town center Lots of seating, booths, tables , comfy atmosphere Menu is clear and easy to read with Dim Sum pictures No language barriers here Online orders are more $$$ Glad I ordered in person. They have 2 websites so it got confusing trying to order This is one of 2 restaurants They have all your favorite dim sum, not cheap but what is anymore? Near airport, seems more Estero than ft Myers Icing on the cake is they use mostly recyclable packaging

My daughter had suggested Dim Sum King and we went during lunch. We ordered a variety of dishes from their reusable Dim Sum menu, which I found very clever. The service was excellent and the food was not the best I have had but it was very good. I will return and try more off their menu. They also have a regular menu for those who like the more traditional Chinese cuisine

I've been struggling to find good Chinese food in the area, and the search is over!! Dim Sum King fulfilled my craving. Coming from NYC, I'm used to authentic and delicious Chinese food so moving here was a struggle when I didn't have access to it. Then, I discovered this authentic and delicious restaurant. Highly recommend the House Chow Fun. The noodles were cooked to perfection and so flavorful and there was a generous amount of beef, pork, and shrimp in it. It's a must order! Also, the honey walnut shrimp were SPECTACULAR. The shrimp were plump, sauce was sweet and creamy, broccoli nice and firm, and the walnuts added great texture. We also got har gow (shrimp dumplings) and they were so squishy and yummy. I dipped them in soy sauce which was delicious, but think it could be elevated if served with a specialty sweet sauce. We also got the shrimp toast which I will skip next time. Not bad, just didn't wow me like everything else. We will certainly be back! I also want to add that the service was great! The staff was very attentive and answered our questions and checked in on us. They were so sweet. It was a delightful dining experience and I highly recommend you try this restaurant!

Delicious!! We loved our chow fun dishes. This is a great fast casual dining restaurant. Our food was out quickly and tasted delicious. Our server was busy but able to take care of us. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Our party of 3 was seated at a comfortable booth and our request for oolong tea and iced water was quickly filled. The menu is extensive but we had no problem choosing. Who could not resist the colorful dim sum platter which looked like a bouquet of flowers served in a traditional bamboo steamer? The exquisitely prepared dumplings tasted as good as they looked. My mother relished her bowl of shrimp wonton soup. The wontons were so large that she cut them into bite-sized portions on a small plate! She also ordered the vegetable fried rice which was impressive, filled with very fresh pieces of broccoli and other veggies. My sister had the bowl of seafood tom yum soup and loved it. With medium spice, it was perfect for her taste. The bowl is huge so expect to take half of it home! I've always been interested in Singapore noodles so that is what I ordered, and was not disappointed. The shrimp were plentiful and the medium-spiced curry sauce was delightful. Thanks to generous portions, all 3 of us will be enjoying leftovers the next day. Do yourself a favor and come out for this restaurant. If you like fresh, excellently prepared Cantonese-style food that is beautifully presented by a helpful staff, and that is a good value for the money, you need to treat yourself to a meal here at Ginger Dim Sum. We'll be coming back.

One of our neighbors used to live in the area and recommended anything in Tin City for lunch. We walked to Tin City from the free parking structure just off 5th Avenue and, while we found the area mildly interesting, we didn't like any of the typical joints along the water. Besides, having eaten at Dockside in Venice the day prior, we were looking for something other than seafood. In looking at Yelp, we were intrigued by Ichi Togarishi so we walked back towards 5th Avenue. Located just off 5th Avenue, this small place would be quite easy to miss. Upon entering, we realized how snug this place was. We were seated promptly and presented the menu. My wife ordered the Chicken Veggie Shoyu Soy Ginger and I had the Chashu Belly Garlic Noodle. We both liked our dishes, with complex, bold flavors. The Chashu belly was tender with sweetness and soy flavor shining thru. Its flavor profile reminded me of Pad Thai. A very nice find in Naples!

The restaurant has a large menu featuring different ramen (dry or w/ soup) and rice dishes, as well as appetizers. I tried their steamed vegetable dumplings and the pork ribs dry ramen. Both dishes were fantsastic. It was the first time that I had dumplings filled with endamame+minced garlic. It was savory and slightly sweet. The meat in the ramen was fork-tender and full of umami; the ramen was chewy; and it was served with a wide variety of fresh vegetables (zucchin, broccoli, carrot, onions, green onions, corn, microgreens, pickled ginger). The ramen was ~5oz. PS: the noodles are salty -- ramens are meant to be salty. Service was awesome. Several things that my server impressed me: 1. He asked me about my food allergies -- important for seafood-dense restaurants like a Japanese restaurant. 2. I asked for some extra ramen when I just got the entree. He suggested to bring me the extra when I almost finish the ramen in my entree. Surprisingly, he brought a small bowl of ramen exactly when I was about to finish it -- very precise and customer-oriented. 3. Food was served in a reasonable amount of time. 4. When he was taking the order of another table, he gave recommendations to the customers based on their dietary preferences, instead of blindly mentioning the "signature dishes" like most servers do. Moreover, when the customers ordered food, he squat down to listen what they said carefully. So, yes, I speak highly of this restaurant. Definitely recommend it. And I will dine in it again next time I visit Naples.

The stuffed tofu was nice and soft, and the light sauce made it delicious. The pan fried dumpling with its filling and with soy sauce was good but could use a little green scallion and sliced ginger to the sweet soy sauce. The Beef Chow Fun was tasty and delectable. The Hong Kong Style pan fried thin noodle with the Chicken and vegetables are a hit! We wanted to order clams with black bean sauce but as we were told the noodle portions are huge. With that being said, the hour-and-ten minute drive from Lutz was well worth the effort to eat the Dim Sum King (plus we made a day out of it). For starters, Dim Sum King excelled in all the categories of variety, quality, and freshness. Dim Sum King's dim sum is ordered from the menu - you mark the number of the respective dim sum plate that you wish to order on a dry-erase menu placard and receive the food as they are made. While different than the push-cart ordering which gives you more of an eyes-on confirmation of the actual dishes and a nostalgic-traditional dim-sum brunch vibe, the menu ordering offers a different approach. Ordering from the menu potentially means that each plate is cooked right and not sitting in the steaming cart which may result in overcooked food or sogginess. So the food does come out fresh here! When it comes to variety, Dim Sum King has most of the usual suspects - har gow, shui mai, chicken feet, short ribs, tripe, lo bak go (turnip cake), shrimp/beef/veggie cheung fun (rice noodle rolls), and sticky rice. Additionally, they carry other fanciful dim sum dishes such as zhaliang (fried Chinese donut rice noodle roll), crispy shrimp toast and stuffed eggplant. Simple and great dim sum menu! The quality is arguably the best I've had in a while. Each dish was made and cooked to perfection. Specific call outs to the crispy shrimp toast and beef cheung fun - these were amazing in both flavor and textures. Our friends told us that the place usually has a line. Perhaps it was right after the holidays, but they were seated promptly around 12pm when they arrived. The restaurant has two large round banquet tables that seat approximately 10, with smaller set-ups of booths and table between. Definitely one of the best dim sum spots in this region of Florida!
