We are here while on a stop on our cruise ship. Our Uber driver mentioned her father owns an Empanada restaurant so we asked her to take us there. We were not disappointed. The empanadas are SO GOOD and Ernesto is so nice and hospitable. Highly recommend!

Imagine hanging out around your mom's kitchen with family and friends helping out and everyone eating treats hot off the griddle. Simple, hot, and good. Lots of flavor combinations. Basic mac salad and beans are good sides. Recommend: keep going back until you've tried everything.

Incredible empanadas. Walking distance from the cruise port - easy to get to. The dough is so fresh (made right in front of you) the ingredients are top notch, the service is great - an all around wonderful experience. Do not miss out on this one! read more

Very friendly staff and the empanadas were all great! I highly recommend the Aztec and the Mexican. However, the Julia's, with pineapple and bacon was also quite good! If you are staying for a few days or just in town for a day on a cruise ship, this is worth your time, a short walk on a perfectly safe, major street, just south of the cruise terminal. read more

Excellent empanadas with macaroni salad and refried beans. Very friendly service and the staff go out of their way to please you. Takeaway or dine in. You sit at a counter that surrounds the kitchen. The food is prepared fresh right in front of you. Highly recommended and very reasonable prices. They close at 18:30(06.30 pm) read more

Very good! I think the bean and cheese empanadas are the ones to get. I've also tried the española, hawaiana, and a couple others. Pretty good as well. They're pretty good sized. For one person, I think two (small size) is a decent meal. They have medium and large empanadas too. The people working here really know what they're doing and they're nice as well. I bumped them up a star because the service was good and friendly. read more

This is a must stop place for us when we come down to Ensenada. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. They have a lot of choices to quench your craving. My personal favorite is the Italian (sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni). Bring cash because like most small stands, they don't do electronic payment. Also, it's best to change dollars to pesos so you don't get caught up in the exchange rate. read more

Empanadas made on the spot, right in front of you, can't get any better than that. The portions are big and the meat and cheese ratio is just right. Can't wait to come back here, haven't been able to find another place like it! read more
