When ordering a local told me everything is good here and the place was filled, which is always a good sign when trying a new place. Staff was friendly and prices were great. My friend and I tried a few baked goods - some cookies and a brownie and we loved it all. The brownies reminded me of ones my mom used to make with powdered sugar on top. Inside, there is a beautiful selection of cakes, pastries, and fresh breads, as well as coffees, sandwiches and breakfast entrees. There are a few tables inside, and would make a great place to dine with friends or do some work. I picked up some pastries and they were all great, and the Iced Coco Mate Latte was creamy and delicious and not too sweet. Staff was friendly, and I got by with my mediocre high school Spanish. All sandwiches come with a small bag of freshly made potato chips. Those are also very delicious. They include a small container of ketchup and hot oil which is pretty spicy but also full of flavor. The second day my family wanted to have the exact same thing for breakfast. So we went back and Roberto remembered our order from the day before including the little details like who had light/no mayo, scrambled/fried egg, etc. The same 4 employees were working both days. All were very friendly and nice. Lenny and Angel are the cooks working their tails off. Roberto and Naomi work the counter and gave us suggestions on where to have dinner and other things to do in the city. Definitely coming back here every time I'm in Ensenada! Owners are super friendly too.
